    "ICE Tourism project is a combination of several categories in tourism themes which suitable for adaptation and carrying benefits to the community, as well as economic development for rural areas. Word of 'ICE' is a brand of this project where the features of ice cubes; cool, attractive, relief and fragile illustrated the objective of this project in realizing innovation for the development of rural area throughout Malaysia. The idea of ICE Tourism came from the tourism themes which consists of ISLAMIC tourism, CREATIVE Tourism & EDULOGY Tourism (Education = Education & Ecology = Nature) as a core of travel package criteria to be produced with involvement of various parties and agencies. The concept of ICE Tourism is also emphasizing future INNOVATION, COLLABORATION & ENVIRONMENT with the ability to produce diversity of rural areas potentials to generate income, contribution towards local economy, promoting social activities, natural conservation/awareness and the combination of various parties through cooperation and collaboration to ensure conformity and the area branding. This project provides a space and opportunity to generate income based on the respective expertise.     Cultural Heritage Tourism: Kapitan Keling Mosque as a Focal Point & Symbolic Identity for Indian Muslim in Penang

    AbstractThis study has identified a cultural heritage product of the Indian Muslim community that has contributed significantly to the tourism industry in Penang, namely Kapitan Keling Mosque. The study also shows that the Kapitan Keling Mosque highlights the strength of ethnic identity and sustainability of the India Muslim heritage especially for the purpose of ‘tourist gaze’. This research is an ethnographic research, using qualitative methods. The results showed that the cultural heritage of Indian Muslim community has become a product of ‘tourist gaze’ and has confirmed that; the Kapitan Keling Mosque is now the main symbol and focal center in the improvement of the social and life force of the community in Georgetown

    Kajian ini secara keseluruhannya ingin mengkaji dan mengenalpasti produk budaya warisan masyarakat India Muslim yang dibangunkan untuk industri pelancongan warisan di Pulau Pinang. Kajian ini turut mengupas bagaimana warisan identiti etnik India Muslim 'digunakan' oleh Pertubuhan India Muslim dan masyarakat India Muslim untuk dibangunkan sebagai satu produk pelancongan di Pulau Pinang bukan sahaja untuk tujuan 'tatapan pelancong' tetapi untuk memastikan warisan identiti etnik India Muslim dapat dikekalkan dan diperkuatkan. Konflik dan dilema identiti etnik yang dial ami oleh masyarakat India Muslim sering menj adi isu perdebatan. W alau bagaimanapun, situasi ini menjadi pencetus kepada usaha masyarakat India Muslim untuk mempromosikan produk budaya dan warisan mereka. Pengiktirafan bandar Georgetown sebagai Tapak Warisan Dunia menjadi satu medium kepada masyarakat India Muslim di Pulau Pinang untuk menonjolkan warisan budaya mereka melalui pelbagai program dan yang paling popular adalah Perayaan Hari Kebudayaan dan Warisan India Muslim yang diadakan setiap tahun pada hari sambutan Hari Warisan Sedunia di Pulau Pinang.     The onset of COVID-19 pandemic has affected the learning process of students throughout Malaysia, especially university students. A paradigm shift is needed in making the learning more dynamic was proposed in this research paper through the lenses of Multimedia Interactive Learning Online (MILO). This software was to enhanced and strengthened role playing among university students enrolling hospitality Front Office course. Similarly, role playing can act as a transition point from classroom into the hospitality industry, vis-ǎ-vis to an extremely complex operating environment. Consequently, a well practice role playing in the absence of face to face learning supervision, may help students to gain a high degree of motivation and subsequently confidence into executing relative tasks at ease in any given time and situations. To this end, role playing is an extremely vital component for students to be successful both in classroom and in the hospitality industry

    Innovative and Competitive: A Systematic Literature Review on New Tourism Destinations and Products for Tourism Supply

    New tourism destinations and product supply are increasingly popular strategies among industry players to create competitiveness. The tourism industry has become more vibrant since globalization merged with technological changes, thus influencing human travel movements, lifestyles, and current trends. The purpose of the study was to systematically review and analyse the elements of new tourism destination products and the importance of sustaining the tourism industry. The following five primary methodological steps were used in the review processes: review protocol; formulation of research questions; systematic searching strategies based on identification, screening, and eligibility on Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus databases; quality appraisal and data extraction; analysis. Seven major themes were discovered, based on the thematic analysis: (a) Responsibilities and involvement, (b) Geography and resources, (c) Innovation, (d) Diversification, (e) Trend and travel pattern, (f) Sustainability, and (g) Marketing. The findings provide academics with a basic reference in scientific and design-related frameworks for examining new destinations and tourism products. The study also offers a guide for destination operators and industry stakeholders to be adopted for future destination development and management

    The rise of learning innovation suggested that distance learning included the use of technologies such as video, audio, computer and multimedia communications into supporting extended teaching and learning tools. However, despite an increasing number of learning innovation, there has been little detailed documentation of the processes involved in this format of animation production process. More specifically, there has been little documentation and analysis of the key considerations and issues that might confront practitioners when integrating 3D animation production process with teaching and learning tool. This paper aims to examine the 3D animation production process of Desktop Application Learning System: Multimedia Interactive Learning Online (MiLO) by Kemmis & McTaggart Action Research Model. Qualitative research applied by action research methodologies and make use of reflective practice across a series of action research cycles in the form of making the 3D animation for the desktop learning application. The findings of this paper propose a new framework of animation production process for teaching and learning application by using iClone software.
