No full textARIES is a large, durable, and cozy lounge chair designed from the form inspired by the spiralling curves of a ram's horns. This lounge chair is designed for its enjoyers to relax and unwind at any time they wish to do so. The purpose of the lounge chair is to accommodate a range of preferences, styles, and functions. Lounge chairs are often used in spaces where posture relaxation often occurs such as in homes, offices, waiting rooms and communal spaces. They're not designed for work or productivity, but rather relaxation. The aim is to design a traditional lounge chair that implements the inspirations taken from a ram and has a slightly complex classical design that allow users to spend their time with leisure. This lounge chair makes a perfect addition to home living rooms and lounges in residential areas. The design adds a spark of nature into their homes as the organic shapes and natural-looking finishing complement almost any living room. Based on studies and research conducted, having biophilic design (incorporation of natural elements such as wood) items in a household can improve one's overall wellbeing. The inclusion of these natural elements is shown to aid in reducing stress, improve creativity and mental clarity. It is hoped that ARIES can not only be an item of furniture, but also a place for people to relax and unwind after they spend their day and want to have some time with themselves, be it for a nap, a short read, or even while enjoying a warm cup of tea

Sometimes, the user needs assistance carrying heavy items or cannot bend over to pick up items because of painful flare-ups that interrupt daily activities. Using the textured platform to help support the weight of heavy items can help the user avoid any unnecessary strain on their spine. This way, the user can have more independence without needing to rely on another person to carry their items. No full text2022, Covid-19 has become integrated into our lives at this point, and most daily activities have been allowed again, such as going out to places and dining in at restaurants. It is now our duty to protect ourselves from contracting the virus and slow down its transmission. SHIEBA is a personal health and safety product that specializes in protecting its users from airborne droplets. It is a personal portable shield barrier suitable for situations where they would have to take off their masks in public. Although restaurants have taken precaution by spacing out seats, customers still have to remove masks to eat. As we know, coughs and sneezes propel airborne droplets for large enough distances to reach other people at other tables. This product would allow people to dine-in without having to worry about this as the protective film not only stops the droplets from reaching the person, but also their food. SHIEBA utilizes features that make its usage simple and hassle free, which would be features such as portable, lightweight, and easy to clean The objectives of SHIEBA are (1) to provide a portable shield barrier for dine-in customers, (2) to be able to sanitize tables before seating, and (3) to be attachable and sturdy enough to provide adequate protection to the customer. A descriptive survey approach is used to acquire relevant information from the respondents regarding their habits involving self-hygiene and their practices when going out to restaurants.Based on these findings, they may give the product a chance, as long as the product does not become a hassle for them to use. It is hoped that, with this invention, users can freely dine-in at restaurants without having to put their health at risk

No full textThe creation of the “Mossy Touch Table” aims to apply the texture of moss onto a piece of furniture for people to use at home that can alleviate their levels of stress, specifically for people that have limited leisure time and are unable to go outside often. It aims to address the ongoing issue of how most modern homes have limited space, which leads to the need to utilize space when furnishing a living space. Not only that, but most of these homes no longer have much connection to nature. Therefore, the “Mossy Touch Table” allows us to bring in a little piece of nature into our homes without sacrificing neither space nor utility. Moss is space efficient, with no need for a large growing area, while also being able to thrive with low-maintenance, making it the perfect plant for people with space and time constraints. Moss does not need to be watered and prefers to be out of direct sunlight, making it ideal to be kept indoors. Paired with it’s non-allergenic properties and fluffy texture, moss can be great for haptic people's tactile needs.
