Rëndësia e komunikimit efektiv në mësimdhënie: perceptimet e mësimdhënësve
Get PDFCommunication is one of the first human needs, so the first steps are taken in childhood. At first, it is a means of communication between a child and adults, but over time, when the child becomes aware of its existence, communication becomes an internal quality and begins to fulfill the developmental and intellectual function for the individual. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to assess the importance of effective teacher communication in the classroom for increasing the quality of teaching and student results. The teacher's communication skills are very important for supporting students, their ability to express themselves, as well as for the time of conversation with students in an independent and critical manner. The practical and theoretical skills of teachers should allow them to adapt teaching and learning strategies according to the needs of students. To achieve this function, teachers should always keep effective communication in mind, not only during explanation and conversation with students, but also during the process of questioning and assessing students. The research was conducted through a quantitative approach based on a descriptive model that enables the description of the situation of communication in teaching from the perspective of teachers. The main question of this study is: How do teachers practice communication in the teaching process? This research informs about communication practices in the teaching process from the perspective of 126 basic education teachers in Kosovo, who were part of this study. The results of this research show that it is important to study effective communication in teaching and are in line with contemporary studies in the field of study. The results of this study will help in the recommendations for the design of support programs for improving effective communication in teaching.Komunikimi është një nga nevojat e para të njeriut, prandaj hapat e parë hidhen që në fëmijëri. Në fillim ai është një mjet komunikimi i fëmijës me të rriturit, por, me kalimin e kohës, kur fëmija ndërgjegjësohet për ekzistencën e tij, komunikimi bëhet cilësi e brendshme dhe nis të përmbushë funksionin zhvillimor dhe intelektual për individin. Prandaj, qëllimi i këtij studimi ishte vlerësimi i rëndësisë së komunikimit efektiv të mësimdhënësit në klasë për ngritjen e cilësisë së mësimdhënies dhe rezultateve të nxënësve. Aftësitë komunikuese të mësimdhënësit janë shumë të rëndësishme për përkrahjen e nxënësve, mundësinë e tyre për t'u shprehur, si dhe për kohën e bashkëbisedimit me nxënësit në mënyrë të pavarur e kritike. Aftësitë praktike dhe teorike të mësimdhënësve duhet t’u lejojnë atyre përshtatjen e strategjive të të mësuarit dhe nxënies sipas nevojave të nxënësve. Për të realizuar këtë funksion, mësimdhënësit duhet të kenë gjithnjë parasysh komunikimin efektiv, jo vetëm gjatë shpjegimit dhe bashkëbisedimit me nxënës, por edhe gjatë procesit të pyetjeve dhe vlerësimit të nxënësve. Hulumtimi është realizuar përmes qasjes sasiore të bazuar ne modelin deskriptiv, i cili mundësoi përshkrimin e situatës së komunikimit në mësimdhënie nga perspektiva e mësimdhënësve. Pyetja kryesore e këtij studimi është: Si e praktikojnë mësimdhënësit komunikimin në procesin e mësimdhënies? Hulumtimi informon për praktikat e komunikimit në procesin e mësimdhënies nga pikëpamjet e 126 mësimdhënësve të arsimit bazë në Kosovë, të cilët ishin pjesë e këtij studimi. Rezultatet e këtij hulumtimi tregojnë se është i rëndësishëm studimi i komunikimit efektiv në mësimdhënie dhe qëndrojnë në përputhje me studimet bashkëkohore të fushës së studimit. Rezultatet e këtij studimi do të ndihmojnë në rekomandimet për hartimin e programeve mbështetëse për përmirësimin e komunikimit efektiv në mësimdhënie
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
