Pengaruh Temperatur Karbonisasi terhadap Mikrostruktur dan Pembentukan Kristal pada Biokarbon Eceng Gondok sebagai Bahan Dasar Absorber Gelombang Elektromagnetik Radar
Radar Absorbing Materials (RAM) or radar absorbing materials of radar electromagnetic waves are materials used to reduce or eliminate radiation of radar electromagnetic waves in order to avoid reflection of waves. At this time the development of RAM research leads to materials derived from nature. Some materials derived from nature that has been used as RAM such as rice husk, bamboo, coconut shell, coconut husk, wood fiber, and wood flour. In this study, eichornia crassipe is made into biocarbon or activated carbon for use as a base material for RAM. Carbonization is one way to transform water hyacinth into biocarbon or activated carbon. The method used in this research is Experimental Research. The independent variables of this research are carbonization temperature starting from temperature 500oC, 600oC, 700oC, 800oC, 900oC and 1000oC. The results showed that the higher the carbonization temperature, the more open pores will be with 2 μm diameter at 1000oC, and the higher the carbonization temperature than the percentage of carbon crystal formed higher with the value of 14% at temperatures 900oC and 1000oC. The biocarbon structure of eichornia crassipe is crystalline and amorphous making it suitable for use as RAM material
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Sistem Kendali dan Monitoring Garasi Menggunakan Metode Fuzzy Logic Berdasarkan Jarak dan Kecepatan User
The increase in private vehicles number will also increase the number of crimes such as vehicle theft. So the owner must have a garage to increase security. However, generally security systems still use standard security. So, a system was developed to improve security and make it easier to be more effective using the ESP32 microcontroller to process the user's distance and speed values ??to control the rolling door using fuzzy logic, monitor whether or not vehicles are in the garage through a smartphone application, manage the queuing system on the smartphone application and find out the quality of the network used. Data retrieval is done by testing the hardware performance, namely the MG996R Servo Motor, ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04, Magnetic Switch MC-38, Infrared Sensor, Buzzer Module, and 1W HPL LED and the performance of smartphone application software made using Android Studio. From the test results, the speed of the servo motor with forward rotation is obtained from fuzzy logic processing to get the maximum and minimum values. A monitoring system to determine the presence or absence of a car in the garage by utilizing the color change of the view on the smartphone application. In automatic mode the smartphone application uses a queue system, where only one user can use the application, so other users cannot access the smartphone application and receive notifications. Based on the ITU-T standard, network quality testing (QOS) using wireshark software with parameters delay, packet loss and throughput gets a very good category value.Meningkatnya jumlah kendaraan pribadi maka meningkat pula tidak kejahatan seperti pencurian kendaraan. Sehingga pemilik harus memiliki garasi untuk meningkatkan kemanaan. Namun, umumnya sistem keamanan masih menggunakan keamanan yang standar. Maka, dikembangkan sebuah sistem untuk meningkatkan keamanan dan mempermudah menjadi lebih efektif menggunakan mikrokontroller ESP32 untuk memproses nilai jarak dan kecepatan user untuk mengontrol rolling door menggunakan fuzzy logic, memonitoring kendaraan yang ada tidaknya dalam garasi melalui aplikasi smartphone, mengelola sistem antrian pada aplikasi smratphone serta mengetahui kualitas jaringan yang digunakan. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara pengujian pada kinerja hardware yaitu Motor Servo MG996R, sensor ultrasonik HC-SR04, Magnetik Switch MC-38, Sensor Infrared, Buzzer Module, serta LED HPL 1W dan kinerja software aplikasi smartphone yang dibuat menggunakan Android Studio. Dari hasil pengujian, kecepatan motor servo dengan putaran maju didapatkan dari pemrosesan fuzzy logic untuk mendapatkan nilai maksimal dan minimun. Sistem monitoring untuk mengetahui ada dan tidaknya mobil dalam garasi dengan memanfaatkan perubahan warna view pada aplikasi smartphone. Pada mode otomatis aplikasi smartphone menggunakan sistem antrian, dimana hanya satu user yang dapat menggunakan aplikasi, sehingga user lain tidak dapat mengakses aplikasi smartphone dan mendapat notifikasi. Berdasarkan standart ITU-T pengujian kualitas jaringan (QOS) menggunakan software wireshark dengan parameter delay, packet loss dan througput mendapatkan nilai kategori sangat baik
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Rancang Bangun Sistem Kendali Penyiram Tanaman Jalan Berbasis Kelembaban
Due to the length of the plant area on the road, usually many plants witheror are damaged due to uncontrolled watering. Watering staff on the street usually water the plants periodically. Watering the road plants sometimes causes small congestion and there are parts of the plants that are not watered because it is done manually.The purpose of this research is to create a design of road plant wateringcontrol system humidity-based using a soil moisture sensor, nodeMCU, relaymodule, voltage regulator, and dynamo sprayer. The results of the performance of this device are influenced by the time of the watering schedule and the soil moisture content of the plants. The results of the design and testing of the tool obtained an automatic plant watering system design and can monitor plant soil moisture with the Thingspeak platform via a web browser. Watering will be done automatically when the time of the watering schedule is entered and the soil moisture is dry. The resultsof the soil sensor readings on soil moisture form an ADC value range of 500 - 900 when the sensor is wet, while 901 - 1023 when the sensor is dry. The delay value for sending data from the soil moisture monitoring system is 0.473 ms at node 1, 0.433 ms at node 2, and 0.245 at node 3. Where the delay value for each node is categorized as good (0 - 150 ms) according to ITUT standards.Karena panjangnya lahan tanaman di jalan biasanya banyak tanaman yanglayu atau rusak karena tidak terkontrol penyiramannya. Petugas penyiram tanaman di jalan biasanya menyiram tanaman tersebut secara berkala. Penyiraman tanaman jalan kadang menimbulkan kemacetan kecil dan ada bagian tanaman yang tidak tersiram karena dilakukan secara manual.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat rancang bangun sistem kendalipenyiram tanaman jalan berbasis kelembaban menggunakan sensor soil moisture, nodeMCU, modul relay, regulator voltage, dan dynamo sprayer. Hasil kinerja perangkat ini berpengaruh dari waktu jadwal penyiraman dan kadar kelembabantanah pada tanaman. Hasil Perancangan dan pengujian alat diperoleh rancangan sistem penyiramtanaman secara otomatis dan dapat memonitor kelembaban tanah tanaman dengan platform thingspeak melalui web browser. Penyiraman akan dilakukan otomatis saat masuk waktu jadwal penyiraman dan kelembaban tanah kering. Hasil pembacaan sensor soil terhadap kelembaban tanah berupa range nilai ADC sebesar500 – 900 saat kondisi sensor basah sedangkan 901 - 1023 saat sensor dalam keadaan kering. Nilai delay pengiriman data hasil sistem monitoring kelembaban tanah sebesar 0.473 ms pada node 1, 0.433 ms pada node 2, dan 0.245 pada node 3. Dimana nilai delay tiap node tersebut dikategorikan baik (0 – 150 ms) sesuai standar ITUT
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
