Perancangan KOnseptual produk Rangka Dan Stang Sepeda Anak-Anak Penyimpanan
Inovasi sepeda lipat sudah banyak dipasaran mulai dari sepeda anak-anak hingga orang dewasa, namun bentuk dan konsepnya masih sama hanya dapat dilipat menjadi dua bagian yaitu rangka bagian depan dilipat dan leher stang sepeda yang dapat dilipat sehingga ukurannya menjadi kecil dibandingkan dengan ukuran semula, untuk meminimasi ukuran saat disimpan dan mudah untuk dibawa kemana-mana. Sepeda anak-anak untuk usia 4 sampai 6 tahun banyak di pasaran sana yang memiliki konsep dilipat. Walaupun sepeda anak-anak tersebut memiliki ukuran yang kecil tetapi masih membutuhkan ukuran penyimpanan yang besar dan masih merepotkan saat dibawa. Belum ada sepeda dipasaran yang bisa lebih meminimasi ukuran supaya lebih kecil saat disimpan dan lebih mudah saat dibawa, terutama sepeda anak-anak yang pemakaiannya tidak berjangka panjang, artinya saat anak-anak itu beranjak dewasa sepeda anak-anak tersebut tidak digunakan kembali dan akan disimpan. Diambil dari permasalahan diatas maka peneliti akan merancanga sebuah produk sepeda anak-anak yang hemat saat disimpan. Merancang sebuah produk memiliki beberapa langkah dan diawali dengan merancang sebuah konsep, metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Perancangan dan Pengembangan Produk oleh Ulrich dan Eppinger. Langkah yang pertama yaitu penyusunan konsep karena dalam pembuatan produk diawali dengan pembuatan konsep, konsep yang ada pada penelitian ini menggunakan pencarian eksternal yaitu metode yang diambil dari jurnal Design Heuristic in Engineering Concept Generation. Sepeda yang dirancang tidaklah seluruh komponen dari sepeda, hanya bagian rangka dan stang saja, karena komponen tersebut memiliki ukuran yang cukup besar. Dilakukan pengolahan data dengan cara penyususan konsep dan tersusun 6 konsep dilanjutkan dengan seleksi konsep menghasilkan 1 konsep yang dikembangkan. Setelah melakukan pengolahan dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa untuk membuat sepeda anak-anak yang tidak kaku dan memiliki ukuran yang lebih kecil saat disimpan dengan cara rangka bagian belakang menggunakan konsep make components attachable or detachable, rangka bagian depan menggunakan konsep fold dan stang menggunakan konsep fold

Augmented Reality Virtual Guide Museum Multatuli Rangkasbitung Based on Android
Multatuli Museum has been established for several years and is visited by many tourists. However, in practice the Multatuli Museum often lacks museum guides when there is an increase in visits, so that visitors who are not accompanied by a tour guide do not get complete information. In addition, the lack of interest of the younger generation in visiting museum attractions so that by applying Augmented Reality technology to the Multatuli Museum is expected to attract visitors, especially the younger generation. Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that is able to insert 3D and 2D objects into a real environment in real-time to display a Virtual Guide at the Multatuli Museum. The author creates an animation in the form of a virtual guide for the Multatuli Museum using Blender software to create 3D animations and using Unity software to build the application as well as the Vuforia extension for Unity with C# programming language. The author uses the prototyping method as the application development method and uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) as the system design. This research produces an Augmented Reality Application that can be used on Android smartphones. This application is capable of displaying 3D animations that provide information about the showrooms in the Multatuli Museum. Based on black box testing all features in the application are 100% running well. with this application visitors feel helped when the tour guide is limited and feel happy because there is still a Virtual tour guide who helps in the museum
Plurality In Academic Tradition: The Case of Lecturers? Educational Background at the Graduate School Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta from 1982-2014
This book initially was a research which is completed and
submitted to the Graduate School Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic
University (UIN) Jakarta, as a partial fulfillment of the requirements for
the degree of Master of Islamic Education.
The idea of the book originated primarily from a reality that
diversity occurs in all educational levels. For the UIN cases, the
phenomena of diversity can be noticed from its academic community;
whether it comes from different social or religious organizations,
educational background, cultural or ethnicity, countries or even
religions. Hence, as a unique institution which produces a distinct
tradition of Islamic studies, the UIN provide lecturers with different
scholarly tradition; either graduated from the Eastern, Western or local
universities.
To that end, I performed a research and focused merely on
lecturers? educational background to understand further how they dealt
with differences, in particular concerning the impact on students? work. I
presumed that lecturers struggled with internal conflicts since the
background has different educational tradition. The Western, Eastern
and local educational traditions have been explored further in this book
chapter to help readers understand these different entities respectively.
By exploring the notion of collaboration which closely related
with conflict resolution, I ended up with a conclusion that the East-West
tension nowadays have been melted, although not entirely. I argued that
lecturers? collaboration not only can be traced through the intrapersonal
or interpersonal aspects. The need to combined those two levels with an
additional aspect, the epistemological dimension; become substantial.
This statement can be verified since the epistemological dimension of
lecturers? educational background becomes the basis on both side to
work collaboratively. This general finding indicated that two salient
factors that support the process of lecturers? collaboration, including
their background as a pesantren graduates and their participation to
promote the Indonesian Islam. By having a team-work, they construct
the idea to promote the moderate culture amid academic community.
With this finding, I reaffirm a general statement which declared the
Graduate School UIN Jakarta as a smelting place. My hope that these
findings will give a positive contribution on discussion toward research
on East-West relationship, diversity and equity, lecturers? collaboration,
and professional communities. In view of that, I realized that this research to some degree is a
collaboration of so many people whom I cannot mention their names one
by one proportionally in this acknowledgment. For this reason, I would
like to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to all of people who have
assisted me in completing my study and in particular in finishing this
research.
