Action Research in Information System and Internal Auditing Research
Action research is a research design that has the potential to be used in information systems and internal auditing research because of its similarities in the framework. Action research was initially qualitative, but as its methodology developed, quantitative components were added as an integral part of both the data collection and its analysis and interpretation phases. Mixed methods are considered effective in leveraging the strengths and reducing the weaknesses of both quantitative and qualitative approaches in either parallel or sequential designs. The author supports the idea that, methodologically, action research in information systems and internal auditing can adopt mixed methods in either parallel or sequential designs while considering scientific stages and ethical values.Keywords: action research, quantitative, qualitative, mixed methods
Analisis dan Perbandingan Bukti Digital Aplikasi Instant Messenger pada Android
Perkembangan jumlah pengguna aplikasi Instant Messenger (IM) yang sangat pesat menyebabkan naiknya potensi tindakan kriminal dilakukan melalui aplikasi IM. Fitur keamanan data aplikasi IM yang ditujukan untuk melindungi privasi penggunanya, digunakan oleh pelaku kriminal untuk menyembunyikan bukti digital dari aktivitas kriminalnya. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai analisa dan perbandingan bukti digital dari aplikasi IM pada Android yang telah diunduh sebanyak 500 juta orang di Play Store, yaitu WhatsApp, Telegram, Line, dan IMO. Proses analisa dilakukan pada bukti digital dari penggunaan fitur yang ada di aplikasi IM, sehingga proses pengumpulan data dibantu dengan simulasi dari beberapa skenario yang berpotensi terjadi dalam tindakan kriminal. Teknik akuisisi data dilakukan dengan metode physical imaging untuk mendapatkan akses penuh pada memori smartphone. Hasil analisa disimpulkan dalam bentuk tabel perbandingan yang dapat dirujuk oleh investigator forensik ketika melakukan investigasi aplikasi IM yang diteliti. Hasil analisa menyatakan bahwa bukti digital dari aktivitas tukar menukar pesan, berkas media, dan kontak ditemukan. Hasil analisa juga memberikan penjelasan mengenai kemungkinan untuk menganbil bukti digital yang dihapus dan bagaimana cara memulihkannya dengan teknik data carving
Sentiment Analysis on Short Social Media Texts Using DistilBERT
Sentiment analysis on short texts from social media, such as tweets, presents unique challenges due to their brevity and informal language. This study explores the effectiveness of transformer-based models, particularly DistilBERT, in performing sentiment analysis on short texts compared to traditional machine learning approaches including Support Vector Machine, Logistic Regression, and Naive Bayes. The objective is to assess whether DistilBERT not only enhances sentiment classification accuracy but also remains efficient enough for quick social media analysis. The models used in this study were trained and evaluated on stratified samples of 10,000, 30,000, and 50,000 tweets, drawn from the Sentiment140 dataset while preserving the original class distribution. The methodology involved data collection and sampling, data splitting, data cleaning, feature extraction, model training, and evaluation using accuracy and F1-score. Experimental results showed that DistilBERT consistently outperformed traditional models in both accuracy and F1-score, and demonstrated competitive results against BERT while requiring significantly less training time. Specifically, DistilBERT trained approximately 1.8 times faster than BERT on average, highlighting its computational efficiency. The best result was achieved by DistilBERT trained on the 50k subset, reaching an accuracy of 85% and an F1-score of 84%. These findings suggest that lightweight transformer models like DistilBERT are highly suitable for real-world sentiment analysis tasks where both speed and performance are critical
Komik hadis Anak : Telaah sumber dan kualitas
Comics began to be recognized as one of the components of culture that cannot be overstated. In today's world, comic books are not only a place to indulge in fantasies or dreams, but are also expected to contribute to filling and critiquing ethical and aesthetic gaps for the general public. Efforts to understand hadith through television and software media have not fully reached all circles, including children. Therefore, the existence of Islamic comics based on the habits of the Prophet of Allah, such as the Hadith Comic of Children of Dihyah Al-Hāzim āzim becomes interesting.
The purpose of this researcher is to find out what I convey in children's hadith comics and to find out the quality and sources in children's hadith comics. This research uses qualitative research by applying the descriptive-analysis method.
After collecting Hadith and library data, it is then grouped according to the theme. After classification it is then presented as a fact in narrative form. The facts are then interpreted to produce knowledge and information. In the next step, the author examines the hadiths in the children's hadith comic book which are then elaborated with the explanation of the speaker in the video.
This children's hadith comic contains 37 hadiths in each story title, sixteen of which will be examined in this study. The hadiths studied are hadiths sourced from Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī and Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim. There are also hadiths sourced from these two books are not examined further.
The sources of this research are children's hadith comics and hadith books. This study concluded that sixteen hadiths were examined. Among them: Two hadiths have the status of Ṣaḥīḥ, eight have the status of ḥasan and six have the status of ḍa'if. Thus, the hadith contained in children's hadith comics are mostly ḥasan quality
Smart Door Lock System Using Bluetooth Based Android for Smartphone with Door Lock Keypad
Nowadays, smartphone is one of the most important thing in life. Anywhere we go, we can see people used it very frequently. Mobile phone has various types, for example like android, iOS, windows and etc. Home security can be improved by using mobile phone to take care about out belonging. Home security systems are becoming increasingly safe with the features on mobile devices. In this project, the author want to develop mobile phone to communicate via Bluetooth with home door lock system. To open or close the door it depends on range of Bluetooth and the password that have been set. Arduino microcontroller will control all the hardware and software function. HC-05 Bluetooth module is connected to the Arduino UNO to link with the door lock application in the Android smartphone to command servo motor to control the movement of the door. This system is able to communicate with the door lock approximately thirty feet away from the Arduino UNO. Moreover the door lock also can be lock and unlock using the application in the smartphone just with a single pressed as the servo motor received the command from the application or keypad. Furthermore, the LCD indicator can successfully show the status of the door lock when the door open or close and the inserted password also shown on the LCD when the user use the door lock keypad
Bibliometric analysis of model vehicle routing problem in logistics delivery
This bibliometric analysis focuses on the vehicle routing problem (VRP) model in the field of logistics delivery. The study utilizes a comprehensive dataset of 2,000 VRP-related publications obtained from the Scopus database, spanning the years 2007 to 2023. Through the application of bibliometric methods, this research aims to uncover key insights regarding research trends, country contributions, and recent topics within the VRP research network. Various bibliometric indicators, including publication count, author productivity, relevant sources, institutional affiliation, and citation frequency, are employed to conduct the analysis. The findings shed light on the evolution and trajectory of VRP research, while also highlighting noteworthy countries and topics that have received significant attention. This study not only enhances the overall understanding of VRP but also serves as a foundation for future investigations aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics delivery
Experimental on the FBC chamber for analysis temperature and combustion efficiency using palm oil biomass fuel
Renewable energy sources such as palm oil biomass solid waste have attracted concern for scientists. This is because palm oil biomass is suitable to be converted as heat energy so that dependence on conventional fossil energy can be reduced. This study aims to analyze the combustion temperature and efficiency in fluidized-bed combustor (FBC) combustion chambers using oil palm biomass (such as palm kernel shell (PKS), empty fruit bunches (EFB), and oil palm midrib (OPM)). Besides, the remaining combustion ash from the testing process was analyzed using gaussian equations. The study conducted experiments through combustion in the FBC space. The result of experimentation from the combustion process with EFB fuel resulted in higher efficiency than OPM and PKS. The efficiency level of each fuel used is 12.77% EFB, 11.05% OPM, and PKS 10.63%. The analysis results for the highest temperatures were recorded from EFB fuels reaching 1,045oC. While the highest temperatures recorded from PKS and OPM were 875 oC and 934 oC, respectively, for measurements on M-1. As for the M-2 measurement the highest temperature was recorded on PKS fuel 935 oC, OPM 866 oC, and EFB 633 oC.
