GINGER THERAPY TO REDUCE PAIN IN ELDERLY WITH OSTEOARTHRITIS
Introduction:The aging process is a natural biological process which can’t be avoided , and running continuously. It will lead to changes in anatomical , physiological , and biochemical in the body , so it will affect the body's ability to function and overall. Osteoarthritis ( OA ) is a degenerative joint disease that is most common and often lead to an inability with symptoms such as joint pain , stiffness, and limitation of movement. Studies in experimental animal, mice proved that ginger extracts have anti-inflammatory substances. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of ginger compress in elderly patients with OA , based on some of the existing literature. Method: we get three literature after going through the PICO strategy and selection of appropriate literature topics we find. The study design of the three journals using different designs include phenomenology; qualitative research ; observational studies and case studies. The population of each journal was : 1) Journal A : 10 people with OA, over the age of 45 years, 2) Journal B : 20 people with OA, with an average age of 64 years ( 80 % women), 3)Journal C, consists of :56 patients with knee or hip OA (average age 66 years ; 73 % women), 120 patients with knee or hip OA ( average age 58 years , 26 % women ), and 29 patients with knee OA ( average age 62 years , 79 % women ). Results:The results of the literature review of the three journals is a topical treatment or a compress of ginger has the potential to relieve symptoms , improve overall health , and increase the independence of people with chronic osteoarthritis . There is no significant effect in patients with OA in the knee or hip. Discussion: Further research is needed to design of research , instrument , and ginger doze needed for safety and effectiveness

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
PENINGKATAN KEMANDIRIAN PERAWATAN TENAGA KERJA INDONESIA (TKI) YANG TERINFEKSI HIV MELALUI PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PEMBERDAYAAN KELUARGA DAN PEER GROUP SUPPORT (Development Model of Family Empowerment and Peer Group Support in Independence of Caring on Indonesian’s Migrant Worker (TKI) Infected by HIV)
Introduction: Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a retrovirus that infects cells of the immune system, destroying or
damaging the function of cells of the immune system. This makes the immune system becomes weaker, and people become
more liable to infection. A lot of new detected HIV transmission source comes from former workers who work abroad. The
challenge in dealing the number of transmission performed comprehensive care of patients and their family empowerment
and peer support groups. The aimed of this study was to develop the ability of a family of Indonesian Workers who are
infected with HIV and Peer Support Group in independence of care. Methods: This study was used an explanatory design
and quasy-experimental. Population in this study were the closest family who care for patients infected with HIV during
work abroad as migrant workers in East Java. Samples were selected using simple random sampling technique. The
independent variable was the peer group and family support, the dependent variable is the level of independence of care
on the respondent. Data were collected using a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability and results
were tested using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with alpha ≤ 0.05. Results: The results showed that this method can
improve the independence of the family of the HIV-infected client care during labor as migrant workers abroad with a
significance value of p = 0.004. Conclusions: Empowerment of family and peer group support can be used to increase the
independence of families and patients in the treatment of HIV-infected patients during work abroad as migrant workers.
Future studies are expected to use a larger sample
Career Expectations, Difficulties And Choices In Nursing Students: A Cross-Sectional Study
This study aimed to explore and compare between career expectations and difficulties in deciding careers and career choices in nursing students. This study was a cross-sectional study in an university in Surabaya, Indonesia, conducted with 233 first and final year bachelor degree nursing students, using a range of instruments: Career Expectations Questionnaire, Career Decision Difficulties Questionnaire, and Questionnaire Survey on Career Choice. The data were then tested by t-test and Mann Whitney. The results showed no significant differences between first and final year students for career expectations, career decisions and career choices. Different aspects between first and final year students were in the aspects of organizational membership (p=.029) and there were differences in difficulties in deciding career, especially in aspects of lack of readiness (p=.031). The learning process and experience during the study period can be related to the impact of students' confidence in deciding their chosen careers. Support from academic staff and the environment such as parents, friends and nursing organizations are needed to shape positive aspects of the careers chosen by students
Berdasarkan laporan Centers for Disease and Prevention (CDP) tahun 2007 prevalensi secara global cenderung meningkat.
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
