Needs Assessment of ASIS&T Publications : Bridging Information Research and Practice.
No full textThis study reports the results of a 2016 online survey on perceptions and uses of ASIS&T publications. The 190 survey respondents represented 26 countries and 5 continents, with 77% of participants coming from academia rather than practitioners. Among the emerging themes were calls for a wider scope of research from information science to be reflected in the publications (including JASIS&T and the ASIS&T Proceedings), and ongoing challenges in the role of the Bulletin as a bridge between research and practice. The study provides insights into the scholarly publishing practices of the ASIS&T community and highlights key issues for the future direction of ASIS&T’s scholarly communication
Quality-for-ASIS: A Portable Testing Facility for ASIS

First the specific problems and requirements are presented. After a section about the basic concepts of ASIS and after a short introduction to testing, the designs and implementations for testing important subsets of ASIS are described. ASIStint: An Interactive ASIS Interpreter
No full textASIStint is an interactive ASIS interpreter with scripting facilities. It may be used for learning ASIS, i.e. the user may interactively try out the effects of the various ASIS queries. It might also be used as an assistant (sic!) when experimenting with ASIS queries, e.g. in order to discover a way of implementing a part of an ASIS application, or to correct it. No full textEn este trabajo se realiza un plan de estrategias digitales para una empresa dedicada a la producción de productos agrícolas orgánicos. En primer lugar se hará una análisis del entorno donde se entenderá la realidad interna y externa de ASIS SAS, donde se explique detenidamente su locación a que se dedica, misión, visión y valores, matriz DOFA. Luego se hará analizará la competencia directa de ASIS y definir el propósito del trabajo. Posteriormente, se analizará al público o clientes que ASIS tiene y se desea que tenga por medio de este trabajo. Luego, se mostrarán cuáles son los objetivos a medir y como alcanzarlos por medio de estrategias efectivas. Después se propondrá un calendario Gant donde se muestre lo que se hará durante el periodo del trabajo. Después se propondrán indicadores para poder analizar que tan efectivo, rentable y que mejoras se tuvieron por medio del trabajo. Para terminar se establecerá un presupuesto.In this work a digital strategies plan is made for a company dedicated to the production of organic agricultural products. In the first place, an analysis of the environment will be made, where the internal and external reality of ASIS SAS will be understood, where its location to which it is dedicated, mission, vision and values will be explained, matrix SWOT. Then we will analyze the direct competence of ASIS and define the purpose of the work. Subsequently, the audience or clients that ASIS has and wishes to have through this work will be analyzed. Then, they will show what are the objectives to be measured and how to achieve them through effective strategies. Then a Gant calendar will be proposed showing what will be done during the work period. Then indicators will be proposed to analyze how effective, profitable and what improvements were made through work. Finally, a budget will be established

No full textPenelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bisnis model dari Asis Adnan Malik dengan pendekatan Business Model Canvas, lalu mengetahui kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman dari Asis Adnan Malik dengan SWOT, sehingga dapat menyarankan strategi untuk pengembangan bisnis Asis Adnan Malik. Business Model Canvas (BMC) merupakan sebuah model bisnis yang menggambarkan dasar pemikiran tentang bagaimana organisasi menciptakan, memberikan dan menangkap nilai. Sedangkan Analisis SWOT merupakan identifikasi yang bersifat sistematis dari faktor kekuatan dan kelemahan organisasi serta peluang dan ancaman lingkungan luar strategi yang menyajikan kombinasi terbaik di antara keempatnya. Objek penelitian ini adalah Asis Adnan Malik yang berlokasi di ITC Kebon Kalapa dan Pasar Baru Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Metode penelitian kualitatif adalah metode penelitian yang melibatkan analisis data berupa deskripsi dan data tersebut tidak secara langsung dapat dikuantifikasi. Pada penelitian ini, terdapat empat narasumber dari Asis Adnan Malik, yaitu owner dari Asis Adnan Malik, dua kompetitor Asis Adnan Malik, dan Pengelola ITC Kebon Kalapa. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pengetahuan, wawasan, dan informasi dalam bidang strategi pengembangan bisnis, serta dapat menjadi masukan yang bermanfaat bagi Asis Adnan Malik untuk dapat mengembangkan bisnisnya dengan strategi dan rekomendasi Business Model Canvas baru yang diberikan, sehingga Asis Adnan Malik dapat terus bersaing dengan kompetitornya dan bisnisnya semakin berkembang.
