Full text linkTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengatahui bagaimana proses berdakwah Ustadz Asdi Wirman, yang dilihat dari seni berbicara dan seni Berpenampilan ketika menyampaikan dakwah di Masjid Jamia’tul Muslimin. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, informan penelitian ini adalah Asdi Wirman, jamaah Masjid Jamia’tul Muslimin Komplek Taruko Satu. Data-data penelitian dianalisis secara kualitatif. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh hasil Pertama, seni yang digunakan ustadz Asdi Wirman dalam berbicara yaitu lemah lembut dalam menyampaikan dakwah, menentukan topik terlebih dahulu sebelum menyampaikan dakwah, ungkapan-ungkapan yang digunakan dalam menyampaikan dakwah fasih dan jelas, serta pengucapan makharijul hurufnya jelas. Kedua, seni berpenampilan seperti: memakai baju kemeja panjang lengan, memakai sarung, memakai salt Palestina, memakai peci warna putih, dan berdiri di antara jamaah bapak-bapak atau ibuk-ibuk dalam kegitan dakwah
The ECA strengthens the WAEMU capacities on the ASDI
No full textProviding guidance for African States and the Regional Economic Communities forms one of the mandates of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa. It was with this perspective that, on the request of the Commission of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) the ECA decided to strengthen the capacities of a dozen of its executives on the African Social Development Index (ASDI), in particular on the application of the methodology for calculating this Index for a community space. This training session will feature presentations by the technicians of the Sub-Regional Office for West Africa (SRO-WA) and the Division of Social Development Policies (DSDP) of the ECA while the proceedings will be run by executives from the WAEMU Commission and Burkina technicians with support from the ECA. This approach will make it possible in particular to combine theory with practice in the collection and analysis of data to successfully calculate the ASDI for the WAEMU community space

No full textSenegal has, since February 2014, embarked on the implementation of the Plan Senegal Emergent -PSE-2014-2018, the first plan intended to operationalize Vision Senegal 2035. Priority is thus given to the implementation of effective tools for the formulation, analysis, monitoring and evaluation of development policies. In this respect, the Government of Senegal, in collaboration with ECA, initiated the development and popularization of three major tools in the development policy formulation, monitoring, analysis and evaluation mechanism. They consist in the development of a platform to monitor the life cycle of projects/programs, the simulation and projection model T21-Senegal as well as the African Social Development Index (ASDI) developed by ECA. With regard to ASDI, ECA's intervention enabled Senegal to undertake a national ASDI study which was shared with participants. The analysis made it possible to identify the main dimensions of exclusion disaggregated by sex and administrative areas as regards child health, nutrition, education, employment and life expectancy. As for the T-21 Senegal model, its appropriation by Senegal has resulted in national applications to analyze the social inclusion of PSE 2014-2018 and the agricultural sector. In addition to discussing the findings of these analyses, the meeting provided the opportunity to carry out economic policy simulations

No full textWith the advent of a new business model, ECA has embarked on creating monitoring and evaluation mechanisms and tools to assist African member states in demonstrating the progress they have made in implementing the continent-wide agreements related to regional integration, social and gender development. To this end, The African Regional Integration Index (ARII), the African Social Development Index (ASDI) and the African Gender Development Index (AGDI) have been developed. An index is a mathematical aggregation of a set of elementary, individual indicators that measure a multi-layered, larger phenomenon such as regional integration, social inclusion, gender quality and the empowerment of women. This document is designed to provide step-by-step procedures to ensure ECA Indices (ARII, ASDI and AGDI) meet the acceptable quality standards. The document introduces the existing organizational guidelines, mandates and documents that guide the quality process. It also presents the specific checklists to be used both for self-assurance and for assessing the quality of the final product
