    An overview and analysis of Queensland’s new ‘Chain of Responsibility’ laws and ARITA's concerns and advocacy in respect of these new laws. In June 2016 the Queensland Government established a working group to assist in the development of a statutory guideline in respect of the new ‘Chain of Responsibility’ (CoR) laws. Under the legislation, the statutory guideline is something which the relevant Qld Government Department ‘must have regard to’ in deciding whether to issue an EPO. ARITA was invited to participate in this working group and has been vocal in expressing significant concerns about the CoR laws – primarily the potential exposure of insolvency practitioners to these new types of EPOs and the possible unintended consequences for external administrations

    Lamellisphecia champaensis Kallies & Arita, 2004 Figs 3, 4, 10 Material examined. Holotype: ♂, Vietnam, Lam Dong Prov., Bao Loc, Dambri, ca. 850 m, 7.viii.2001, Y. Arita leg. (Fig. 3, NSMT). Additional material: 2♂, same locality, 3.v.2003, Y. Arita leg. (Fig. 4, NSMT); 2 ♂, Laos, Houapan Prov., Xamneua Distr., Ban Saleui, 1350 m, 24.vi.2003, S. Nagai leg. (NSMT) (1 ♂, genitalia examined, prep. AK871, Fig. 10). This species was known only from the holotype (Fig. 3). We can now report two additional specimens from Vietnam, collected at the type locality, and two specimens from Laos. The two additional specimen from Vietnam differ from the holotype by the more extensive yellow-orange marking of the abdomen, with tergite 3 being reddish orange and tergite 4 yellow-orange. The two specimens from Laos differ from the ones from Vietnam by having tergite 5 completely yellow-orange in addition to tergites 3 and 4 (Fig. 4). Although this gives them a quite different appearance, they do not show additional distinctive features.     Arita porcelain from the viewpoint of pattern in the 17th-18th centuries

    Arita porcelain manufacturing began in the 17th century, when raw porcelain material was discovered in Izumiyama. Arita porcelain had been developed into many different styles over its not very long lasting history such as blue and white style, blue and white in color style, or a new style of ceramic called Akae created by Kakiemon, Old Kutani style which has beautiful designs in bright red, yellow and green inherited. From the beginning, Arita porcelain had been famous for its delicate and beautiful patterns influenced from China, especially Primer on Eight Varieties of Painting a compilation of eight texts on poetry and painting published in China. After several times of product generating innovation, Japanese porcelain has various attractions with different techniques and had been little by little domesticated in pattern-centered to generate a very specific Japanese style. In the latter half of the 17th century to 18th century, Arita porcelain was sold not only domestically but also internationally. Until the end of 18th century, Chinese pattern style had been completely discarded from every Arita porcelain product. Not only that, Arita porcelain had also created a great influence on porcelain kilns from some European countries, imitated from Kakiemon-style products that showed greatly successful proof of Arita porcelain

    Lamellisphecia wiangensis Kallies & Arita, 2004 Figs 5, 11 Material examined. Holotype: ♂, Thailand, Wiang Pa Pao, 25.ix.2001, M. Ikeda leg. (Fig. 5, NSMT). Additional material: 1 ♂, same locality, 23.ix.2003, M. Ikeda leg. (NSMT) (genitalia examined, prep. AK870, Fig. 11). This species was known only from the holotype. We can now report a second specimen from Thailand, collected at the type locality.     Melittia fulvipes Kallies & Arita, 2004 (Figs 2, 9) Material examined. 1 ♂, NW Guangxi Prov., Mt Cenwanglaoshan, Tianlin-Lingyun county border, 28.v.– 5.vi.2002, leg. Wang Min; Gen. Prep. AK 740 (SCAU). M. fulvipes was previously known from only a single specimen collected in northern Vietnam (Kallies & Arita, 2004). It is here recorded from China for the first time. It can be recognized by the brownish ochre hairs on the hind leg, its wide discal spot of the forewing with its very short projection into the anterior transparent area, the broad apical area.     Sphecosesia rhodites Kallies & Arita, 2004 (Fig. 12) This species was described from northern Vietnam (Kallies & Arita 2004). Here we report it from China for the first time. A single male was attracted to a strong mercury vapour light in the Nanling Mountains. It does not differ significantly from the Vietnamese specimens. This specimen represents the first record of the genus Sphecosesia from China. Other species recorded as Sphecosesia (Yang & Wang 1989, Xu et al. 1999, Yang et al. 2003) belong to the genus Teinotarsina (compare Kallies & Arita 2004, Pühringer & Kallies 2014).
