    ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan di Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Asahan Kelurahan Kisaran Naga  Kecamatan Kota Kisaran Timur Kabupaten Asahan Propinsi Sumatera Utara dengan ketinggian tempat + 10 m di atas permukaan laut dengan topografi datar. Penelitian ini dilakukan  pada bulan Juni 2020 dan berakhir pada bulan September 2020.Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Non faktorial terdiri dari 5 taraf, yaitu :  M1 = Serbuk Gergaji Kayu (kontrol)  ;         M2 = Ampas Tebu ;M3 = Jerami Padi ; M4 = Cocopeat ; M5 = Janjangan sawit ;. Dengan jumlah ulangan sebanyak 5 Ulangan.  Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan terbaik adalah bahwa media paling baik yaitu menggunakan media ampas tebu hal ini membuktikan bahwa ampas tebu masih mengandung fruktosa sedangkan serbuk gergaji tidak mengandung fruktosa sedangkan media lain seperti cocopeat sama sifatnya seperti serbuk gergaji kayu.  Sedangkan untuk media jerami padi dan janjangan kelapa sawit tidak baik untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan jamur hal ini karena media tersebut mengandung zat lemak yang tinggi Kata Kunci :  Jamur, Media, Tira

    The study was conducted in the experimental at Suge Loga street, Pertahanan Village, Sei Kepayang District, Asahan Regency. The study aims to the find out growth response and yield of ricefield Inpari 32 varieties to the application of yaramila fertilizer and phonska fertilizer. This study used randomized complete block design with two factors: (1) Yaramila Fertilizer (Y) with 3 levels: Y1 = 0,085 kg/plot, Y2 = 0,175 kg/plot, Y3 = 0,35 kg/plot, (2) Phonska Fertilizer (P) with 3 levels: P1= 0,175 kg/plot, P2 = 0,35 kg/plot, P3 = 0.7 kg/plot. Observation parameters were plant length, number of tillers per clump, number of panicles per clump, weight of 1000 dry grains and weight grans per plot. The result showed that the yaramila fertilizer showed that any significant effect on plant length, number of tillers per clump, number of panicles per clump, weight of 1000 dry grains and weight grain per plot, the best treatment is Y3 = 0,35 kg/plot. Application phonska fertilizer showed any significant effect on number of panicles per clump and weight of 1000 dry grains, the best treatment is P3 = 0.7 kg/plot. Interaction of the application of yaramila fertilizer with phonska fertilizer did not show any significant effect on all observation parameters

    Penelitian ini di laksanakan desa tanjung alam dusun 1 kecamatan sei dadap, Kabupaten Asahan, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini disusun berdasarkan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan 2 faktor perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah penggunaan mulsa sekam  padi dengan 3 taraf, yaitu : S0 = 0 kg/plot, S1 = 10 kg/plot dan, S2 = 20 kg/plot Dan faktor kedua adalah pemberian dosis pupuk NPK dengan 4 taraf, yaitu : N0 = 0 gr/plot, N1 = 50 gr/plot, N2 = 100 gr/plot dan, N3 = 150 gr/plot. Hasil penelitan menunjukkan bahwa pemberian mulsa sekam padi tidak berpengaruh terhadap seluruh parameter amatan tanaman bawang merah. Pemberian NPK berpengaruh nyata terhadap seluruh parameter amatan tanaman bawang merah dengan perlakuan terbaik pada dosis 100 gr/plot. Interaksi penggunaan mulsa sekam padi dan pupuk  NPK menunjukkan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap seluruh parameter amatan tanaman bawang mera

    Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Asahan, Kabupaten Asahan, Provinsi Sumatera Utara, dengan tofografi ketinggian tempat ± 23 m dpl. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai Agustus 2018. Bahan penelitian terdiri dari benih kecipir, ampas teh, pupuk KCl, pupuk kandang, insektisida matador 25 EC (bahan aktif deltrametrin 2 ml/liter) dan air. Alat penelitian yang digunakan adalah cangkul, garu, gergaji, martil, paku, tang, jangka sorong, triplek, kuas, cat, meteran, timbangan, gembor, kayu, tali rapiah, tugal dan alat tulis. Penelitian ini disusun berasarkan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan 2 faktor perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama cara pemberian ampas teh dengan 3 taraf, yaitu: A0 = tanpa ampas teh, A1 = dengan ditabur, A2 = ampas teh dicampur dengan air. Faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk KCl dengan 4 taraf, yaitu K0 = tanpa perlakuan, K1 = 7,2  g/plot, K2 = 14,4 g/plot, K3 = 741,6 g/plot

    EFFECT OF PRUNING AND POP SUPERNASA FERTILIZER APPLICATION ON GROWTH AND YIELD OF MELON (Cucumis melo L)

    This research was conducted in Sirsak Street, Kisaran Timur Village, Asahan District, North Sumatra. Flat Topography, height  25 m asl, and coordinate point 203\u27-326\u27 North Latitude and 991\u27-1000\u27 East Longitude. The experiment was conducted in May ― July 2017. This research is based on the Randomized Block Design (RBD) factorial with 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factors was the pruning of 3 levels P0 = Control (no pruning), P1 = pruningand leaving 6 branch ( 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12), P2 = pruning and leaving 4 branch ( 7, 8, 9 and 10). The second factors is application of POP Supernasa fertilizer with 4 levels S0 = Control ( 0 ml/l water/block), S1 = 20 ml/ 10 L water/block, S2 = 40 ml/ 10 L water/block, S3 = 60 ml/ 10 L water/block. The result of research that pruning P2 = pruning and leaving 4 branch ( 7, 8, 9 and10), the best production contained is the parameter diameters of fruits 18,01 cm and production/plant 4,11 kg. Applications of POP Supernas S3 = 60 ml/ 10 L air/plot, the best production contained is the parameter flower emergence 19,33 day, fruit emergence 23,33 day, fruit diameters 17,97 cm and productions 4,10 kg/ plant. The interactions pruning and POP Supernasa application on growth and yield of melon showed no significant effect on all parameters was observed

    PENGARUH TEKNIK PEMBERIAN AIR CUCIAN BERAS DAN WAKTU PENYEMPROTAN AIR TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TANAMAN TOMAT (Solanum lycopersicum L.)

    This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Asahan University, Kisaran Timur District, Asahan Regency, North Sumatra Province from March to May 2018. The design used in this study was Factorial Randomized Block Design with two factors and four replications. The first factor is the technique of giving rice washing water with a concentration of 250 ml / liter of water consisting of 2 levels: B1 = watered, B2 = sprayed. The second factor when spraying consists of 3 levels: W1 = morning, W2 = daytime, W3 = afternoon. Parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of fruit per plant (fruit), production per plant (g) and production per plot (kg). The results showed that the technique of giving rice washing water affected plant height up to 72.83 cm, number of fruit per plant 55.38 fruit, production per plant 3.88 kg and production per plot 12.86 kg. Watering time affects plant height at 2 MST, up to 10.85 cm and production per plot 12.49 kg but does not affect the number of fruit per plant and production per plant. The interaction of water-giving techniques and watering time did not affect plant height at all ages, number of fruit per plant, production per plant and production per plot

    RESPON PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TANAMAN JAGUNG PULUT (Zea mays ceratina) HIBRIDA F1 VICTORIA TERHADAP APLIKASI PUPUK NPK MUTIARA DAN ZPT HANTU

    Penelitian ini di laksanakan di lahan kebun percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Asahan, Kabupaten Asahan, Provinsi Sumatera Utara, dengan topografi datar, ketinggian tempat 22 mdpl. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari 2019 sampai Maret 2019.  Alat-alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah cangkul, gembor, timbangan, meteran, pisau, plat dokumentasi, plat perlakuan, plat ulangan dan spanduk penelitian, serta alat tulis. Bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah benih jagung pulut varietas Victoria F1, pupuk dasar, pupuk NPK Mutiara, ZPT HANTU, dan air. Penelitian ini disusun berdasarkan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan 2 faktor perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah pupuk NPK Mutiara (M) dengan 4 taraf yaitu M0 = 0 g/plot, M1 = 50 g/plot, M2 =  100 g/plot, M3 = 150 g/plot. Faktor kedua adalah ZPT HANTU dengan 3 taraf, yaitu Z0 = 0 ml/liter air, Z1 = 4 ml/liter air, dan Z2 = 8 ml/liter air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk NPK Mutiara secara tunggal dengan dosis 150 g/plot mampu menghasilkan tinggi tanaman 175,33 cm, jumlah daun 14,81 helai, produksi tongkol berkelobot per tanaman 190,30 g, produksi tongkol tanpa kelobot per tanaman 160,11 g, produksi tongkol berkelobot per plot 1,84 kg, dan produksi tongkol tanpa kelobot per tanaman 1,40 kg. Pemberian ZPT HANTU secara tunggal dengan konsentrasi 8 ml/liter air mampu menghasilkan tinggi tanaman 168,35 cm, produksi tongkol berkelobot per tanaman 163,33 g, produksi tongkol tanpa kelobot per tanaman 138,77 g, produksi tongkol berkelobot per plot 1,61 kg, dan produksi tongkol tanpa kelobot per tanaman 1,23 kg. Interaksi antara pemberian pupuk NPK Mutiara dan ZPT HANTU menunjukkan pengaruh yang tidak nyata terhadap parameter amatan

    The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of shade and concentration of liquid organic fertilizer top G2 on the growth and yield of celery plants (Apium graveolens L.). This study was conducted in the yard of a house in Surya Hamlet, Bulan-Bulan Village, Lima Puluh District, Batu Bara Regency, North Sumatra Province at an altitude of ± 28 m above sea level. The research was conducted from December 2020 to March 2021. The materials used during the study were celery seeds of the red arrow amigo variety, polybags, POC Top G2, 2 types of shade (plastic and paranet), top soil, manure, dolomite, bamboo, oil palm fronds, and plastic rope. The following tools were used in the study: hoe, bucket, meter, germination tub, hand sprayer, measuring cup, measuring cylinder, machete, plastic rope, rubber tire, pen, ruler, and notebook. The method used was Split Plot Design (RPT) Factorial with 2 factors, namely: main plot 3 levels (N0, N1, and N2) and sub plot with 4 levels (G0 = 0 cc / l water; G1 = 5 cc / l water; G2 = 10 cc / l water; and G3 = 15 cc / l water). The results of the study from various types of shade produced the tallest plants (31.64 cm), number of leaves (63.64 strands), production weight per sample plant (137.50 g), production per plot (224.17 g), and aroma (3.80). The concentration of TOP G2 liquid organic fertilizer with a concentration of 15 ml / L water (G3) produced plant height (27.45 cm), number of leaves (35.96 strands), production weight per sample plant (93.33 g), production per plot (136.67 g), and aroma 3.92. The interaction of the main factor treatment of shade with TOP G2 liquid organic fertilizer showed a significant effect on all observed parameters except for aroma

    The research was conducted in Lima Puluh Kota II Environment, Lima Puluh District, Batu Bara Regency, North Sumatra Province. In August to September 2020. This study aims to determine the effect of the duration of hydrogel media immersion and the concentration of Gandasil D leaf fertilizer on the growth of aglaonema plants. This study used a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) with two factors, namely: (1) Duration of hydrogel media immersion (G) consists of 3 levels: G1 = 60 minutes, G2 = 120 minutes, G3 = 180 minutes. (2) The concentration of Gandasil D leaf fertilizer (P) consists of 3 levels: P1 = 10 gr/liter of water, P2 = 20 gr/liter of water, P3 = 30 gr/liter of water. The observed variables were the increase in plant height (%), number of leaves (blades), root length (cm), root weight (%). The results showed that the effect of the duration of hydrogel media immersion did not significantly affect the increase in plant height at all observed ages, the number of leaves at 2 and 4 MST, and root weight. The effect of the duration of hydrogel media immersion had a significant effect on the number of leaves at 6 MST. The effect of the duration of hydrogel media immersion had a very significant effect on root length. The concentration of Gandasil D leaf fertilizer had no significant effect on the increase in plant height at all observed ages and root weight. The concentration of Gandasil D leaf fertilizer had a significant effect on the number of leaves at 6 MST and root length. The interaction between the duration of hydrogel media immersion and the concentration of Gandasil D leaf fertilizer on the growth of aglaonema plants had no significant effect
