Division of Ergonomics and Exercise Physiology, Nicolaus Copernicus Univeristy in Toruń, Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz, Poland 2State Enterprise Ukrainian Research Institute for Medicine of Transport of Ukrainian Ministry of Health Care", Odesa, Ukraine Abstract Mountain climbing is associated with many risky, life-threatening situations. One of the most common attacking diseases at altitudes above 2500 m is altitude disease (HAI). This disease consists of: acute alpine disease, cerebral oedema and pulmonary oedema at altitude. The best way to prevent altitude diseases is by means of alcomatisation and slow increase in altitude. Climbers should follow the principle "climb high, sleep low". Sometimes, however, time or inability to descend do not allow for acclimatization. In such conditions, it is necessary to use pharmaceuticals that prevent the occurrence of an illness of altitude. The following article discusses research on the most commonly used drug in the prevention of acute mountain disease - acetazolamide. This drug was first used in the 60s of the XX century, demonstrating its effectiveness in the prevention of mountain disease. Since then, it has been the subject of many studies. An important aspect of improvement is the development of motor functions, self-service, communication and social skills. Therefore, rehabilitation, in all forms one of them is hippotherapy, must be focused on motor education, as well as on improving the child's psyche. The beneficial effect of a horse is that it controls muscle tension, strengthens flaccid muscles and relaxes shortened muscles, which prevents contractures. Therapeutic riding improves the quality of life of such children, allows them to open up to the world, thus activating them and creating interaction between the child and the horse, and this improves their physical and mental condition. Hippotherapy is one of the most effective complementary therapeutic methods used to improve children with cerebral palsy. Key words: hippotherapy, cerebral palsy, improvemen

Division of Ergonomics and Exercise Physiology, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz, Poland Streszczenie Przetrenowanie jest popularnym zjawiskiem, które często występuje w różnych dyscyplinach sportowych. Abstract Overtraining is a common phenomenon that occur in the sport, which is formed by: disregard the effects of fatigue, misreading the decline in exercise capacity or stagnation and disorder of the relationship between training and rest. It consist in reduction or loss of form by the athlete, can also contribute to the formation of an injury and adversely affect the psyche of the athlete. The mechanism of the formation of the overtraining syndrome is not conclusive, since this phenomenon is characterized by a variety of symptoms that may indicate other diseases or infections. Therefore, the diagnosis of overtraining syndrome can be made only by eliminating other influence on the change of form and mood, because there is no diagnostic tools, with which those instruments would be the identification of the OTS. An overtraining syndrome is diagnosed if you exclude all the rest. Because of difficulties encountered by the diagnosis of overtraining prevention is important. It is the best way to avoid this phenomenon. The behavior of moderation in the training, the appropriate time for the regeneration of the body, using a detailed training plan, coachs and sports doctors collaboration , proper diet, psychological support and training log are the clue factors. Abstract Parkinson Disease is a neurodegenerative disease which pathogenesis is not well known. Gait and balance disorders are the most basic symptoms of PD. The occurrence of the symptoms depends on phase of disease and patient’s individual attributes. Rehabilitation is one of the possible way to assuage the occurrence of the symptoms. Static posturography as an instrument to assess the balance among athletes

Equilibrium is defined as the ability to maintain the roll centre of gravity (centre of mass - COM), which is located in the abdomen, inner support surface defined by the contour of the foot. The process to maintain standing balance involves continuous loss of balance and recovery [1]. The balance is considered to be the basic motor skills and is especially important for athletes. Examination of postural balance is a troublesome scientific issue, but static posturography allows for a reliable assessment of this aspect
