A note from the editors
The first three papers in this issue are based on a symposium entitled “Rasmussen Revisited 3—Human Factors, Accidents and Error” held at a joint conference in Banff in 2017, organised by the Association of Canadian Ergonomists and by the Organizational Design and Management (ODAM) committee of the International Ergonomics Association. In the words of Patrick Waterson, Jean-Christophe Le Coze and Henning Boje Andersen (1): “The work of Jens Rasmussen over the course of the last half century represents some of the most influential contributions to the fields of cognitive science, human factors, ergonomics and safety science.” These three papers both honour that contribution and show the continued value of applying the theory and tools developed by Jens Rasmussen
The International Concordia Explorer Telescope (ICE-T): an Ultimate Transit-Search Experiment for Dome C
ICE-T is a fully robotic telescope for astrophysics and atmospheric research for the Antarctic station Concordia at Dome C. ICE-T consists of two 60cm optical ultra-wide-field Schmidt telescopes and one 18cm narrow-field Maksutov spectrophotometric telescope on a single mount. The dual 60cm will be mainly used for a transit search due to extrasolar planets while the 18-cm will be used for measuring aerosol optical depths. ICE-T is a team effort of the German Alfred-Wegener-Institute for Polar Research, the Italian Universities of Padova and Perugia, the INAF Observatory Catania, and the Catalonian IEEC in Barcelona, Spain, and the AIP with collaboration from the University of New South Wales, Australia and the University of St Andrews, U.K

Escitalopram in the treatment of anxiety symptoms associated with depression
Most patients with depression have symptoms of anxiety associated with their illness. Our aim in this study was to investigate the efficacy of escitalopram, a proven antidepressant, on symptoms of anxiety in patients with major depressive disorder (MDD). Data from five placebo-controlled escitalopram studies in MDD were analyzed. Three of the studies also included a comparison with citalopram. In all studies, anxiety was assessed using the Inner Tension item (item 3) of the Montgomery-Asberg Depression Rating Scale (MADRS). In three studies, anxiety symptoms were also specifically assessed, either continuously over time or at baseline and end point, by using the Hamilton Rating Scale for Anxiety (HAM-A), the Anxious Mood item of the HAM-A (item 1), the Psychic Anxiety subscale of the HAM-A (items 1-6 and 14), the Anxiety Psychic item (item 10) of the Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression (HAM-D-24), and the Anxiety/Somatization sub/actor (items 10-13, 15, and 17) of the HAM-D-24. Escitalopram was significantly superior to placebo in all comparisons. Citalopram was also consistently better than placebo in all comparisons, except in the HAM-D-24 Anxiety/Somatization sub/actor. In some comparisons with placebo, escitalopram showed a significantly earlier onset of action or an earlier separation. Escitalopram was significantly more effective compared to placebo in treating both anxiety symptoms and the entire depression in the total depressive population, as well as in depressive patients with a high degree of anxiety

Identification of Civil Engineering Structures using Vector ARMA Models
This paper describes the work which have been carried out in the project B.1: Damage Detection in Structures under Random Loading. The project is a part of the research programme Dynamics of Structures founded by the Danish Technical Research Council. The planned contents of and the requirements to the project prior to its start is described together with the results obtained during the project. The project was mainly carried out as a Ph.D. project by the first author from September 1993 to May 1997 under supervision of Professor Rune Brincker and Associate Professor Poul Henning Kirkegaard both from Dept. of Building Technology and Structural Engineering, Aalborg University.</p
The Impact Of The Development Of ICT In Several Hungarian Economic Sectors
As the author could not find a reassuring mathematical and
statistical method in the literature for studying the effect of
information communication technology on enterprises, the author
suggested a new research and analysis method that he also used to study the Hungarian economic sectors. The question of what
factors have an effect on their net income is vital for enterprises. At first, the author studied some potential indicators related to economic sectors, then those indicators were compared to the net income of the surveyed enterprises. The resulting data showed that the growing penetration of electronic marketplaces contributed to the change of the net income of enterprises to the greatest extent.
Furthermore, among all the potential indicators, it was the only indicator directly influencing the net income of enterprises.
With the help of the compound indicator and the financial data
of the studied economic sectors, the author made an attempt to find a connection between the development level of ICT and
profitability. Profitability and productivity are influenced by a lot of other factors as well. As the effect of the other factors could not be measured, the results – shown in a coordinate system - are not full but informative.
The highest increment of specific Gross Value Added was
produced by the fields of ‘Manufacturing’, ‘Electricity, gas and water supply’, ‘Transport, storage and communication’ and
‘Financial intermediation’. With the exception of ‘Electricity, gas and water supply’, the other economic sectors belong to the group of underdeveloped branches (below 50 percent).
On the other hand, ‘Construction’, ‘Health and social work’ and
‘Hotels and restaurants’ can be seen as laggards, so they got into the lower left part of the coordinate system.
‘Agriculture, hunting and forestry’ can also be classified as a
laggard economic sector, but as the effect of the compound
indicator on the increment of Gross Value Added was less
significant, it can be found in the upper left part of the coordinate system. Drawing a trend line on the points, it can be made clear that it shows a positive gradient, that is, the higher the usage of ICT devices, the higher improvement can be detected in the specific Gross Value Added
