Steganography for Invisible Communication: A Review
Steganography is the science and art of embedding secret messages in innocuous looking carriers in such a way that it does not draw the attention of anyone other than the sender and the targeted recipient, thus a method for secret and invisible communication which provides security through obscurity. Its main purpose is to hide the occurrence of communication over a public channel. Steganography has been used since ancient times and has grown exponentially in the recent past because of the improvements in computing power. Earlier, steganography was implemented using some physical medium i.e. some tangible objects but now a days, it is implemented electronically by using several other intangible objects i.e. data can be hidden using any type of media, be it image in bmp, jpeg, gif format or some music file, video clip, text file, SMS etc. In this paper, different types of techniques used to hide data have been discussed with major focus on image based modern steg-anographic techniques
Spatiotemporal parameters measurement of human gait using developed FSR for prosthetic knee joint
Measuring the heel strike and toe time during walking provides valuable insight to the spatiotemporal parameters of human gait. The authors developed a sensor mechanism using FSR. Result shows that FSR sensor show high degree of accuracy and repeatability for measuring heel strike and toe contact time. The objective of the research was to develop a rugged and robust sensor mechanism to be used in prosthetic shoes which will help to determine the gait parameters for precise control of intelligent prosthetic devices.

PLC Based Automatic Control of Rheometer
This paper describes the automatic control of disc type rheometer. This developed device will able to provide flexibility to operator for testing of rubber. The operator has to just enter the duration of test and parameters through man machine interface. All the operations will occur
automatically without any intervention in a prescribed sequence stored in programmable logic controller (PLC). This developed apparatus is useful not only for testing purpose, but it can be used for research for other types of materials also. With this state of art apparatus one can control the quality of rubber for various applications such as tyre industry. Also this would help to increase the production of rubber as automatic control comes which reduces the test duration to few minutes only.

The priority for ideas and philosophy related to "Network Theory" have been traced back and documented by Braun(2004),and credit goes to Karinthy(1929).The IT has empowered to realise it, as the most practical phenomena and it is no more a humour. The OAI (Open Archives Initiatives)and ACIS (Academic Contributor Information System)are progressive in the direction ,which may lead to realise the "Collective Genius" at global level. Focus of present study is on Author-Self-Archiving (A-S-A)Metadata of the 983 Eprints in the Live Archives of the E-LIS (EPrints of Library and Information Science),which were approved till 7th July 2004.The A-S-A Metadata was used for librametric analysis. Self-explanatory bibliographics are illustrated.The highlights include: Conference papers (34%); highest approval, June 2004 (28%); published archives (76%);not refereed (52%); not in public domain (60%); highest self-archiving-author (De Robbio, Antonella).The Nos. of EPrints having single JITA domain specifications were: Theoretical and general aspects of libraries and information(27); Information use and sociology of information(80);Users,literacy and reading(13);Libraries as physical collections(30);Publishing and legal issues(57);Management(13);Industry, profession and education(36);Information sources, supports, channels(113) ; Information treatment for information services, Information functions and techniques (101); Technical services libraries, archives and museums(25); Housing technologies(1); Information technology and library technology(92); and Inter-domainery (395) i.e. having specifications of two or more than two JITA classes
A Unified Shell model for Buoyancy-Driven Turbulence
We construct a unified shell model for stably stratified and convective turbulence. Shell model simulation of stably stratified flow in turbulent regime exhibit Bolgiano-Obukhbov (BO) scaling in which the kinetic energy spectrum varies as . However, simulation of convective turbulence shows Kolmogorov's spectrum. These results are consistent with the direct numerical simulations of Kumar {\em et al.} [Phys. Rev. E {\bf 90}, 023016 (2014)]. We also observe a dual scaling ( and ) for a limited range of parameters in stably stratified flow

Remote Controlled Operated Prosthetic Arm
M.E. (Electronic Instrumentation and Control Engineering)Prosthesis is an artificial extension that replaces a missing body part. Prostheses are typically used to replace parts lost by injury or missing from birth or to supplement defective body parts. In addition to the standard artificial limb for every-day use, many amputees have special limbs and devices to aid in the participation of sports and recreational activities.
Prosthetic arm is a boon for those persons who have lost their arm (below elbow) due to some mishap. One of the main requirements of artificial arm is that functionally, it should be as near to the natural hand as possible. Various designs of artificial arm are available in the market, categorised as mechanical, electrical and Myo-electric arm. Mechanical devices are functional prostheses that use some motion of the body to provide the force necessary to control the prosthetic component. Electrical arms operate the hand by a motor driven by micro switches and relays. Myo-Electric arm is stimulated by muscle signal available from the stump of amputee.
It has been observed that as the time of amputation increased, the signal strength from amputee stump decreases and muscles lost their activity and acquire a permanent fatigue state. Amputation period of more than about 10 years causes the permanent loss of the muscular action and no EMG output is available from such patients, EMG operated arm is useless for them. So a new prosthetic arm has been proposed, which operates wirelessly by the remote control system consists of four switches for four different operations besides opening & closing of hand with two different levels of grip forces

Multivariate Quantitative Representativeness and Constituency Analysis of Ecological Observation Networks

Regional and global ecological research networks, representing coordinated and standardized as well as adhoc networks of observation sites, provide valuable observations necessary for ecological modeling and synthesis studies. Studies conducted across observational networks strive to scale up their results to larger areas, trying to reach conclusions that are valid throughout regional, continental, and even global scales. Network representativeness and constituency can show how well conditions at those locations represent conditions elsewhere within a larger area containing the network and can be used to help scale-up results over larger regions.
Representativeness: Euclidean distance between two sites plotted in multivariate environmental space can be used as an inverse measure of multivariate similarity to quantify representativeness. Close sites in environmental space have a similar combination of environmental factors, and therefore are highly representative of each other.
Constituency: For any site in the network, its Constituency represent all locations that are best represented by the multivariate environmental drivers at that site.
