Assessing land suitability in Perak / Ahmad Aminuddin Ahmad Sakri
Full text linkAgriculture is amongst the most critical commodities in Malaysia, as it is a significant part of the animal and human food. This study assesses the potential area of the agricultural sector to the economic growth in Malaysia for paddy and oil palm because a few issues high competition from nearby countries, ageing trees, biodiversity, plant infections palm oil and paddy industry in Malaysia. Therefore, the study aims are to estimate suitable agriculture land (oil palm and paddy) in Perak, Malaysia. Therefore, the production of paddy and oil palm in Malaysia will be increasing for the future. In order to achieve the aim of this study, there are two objectives have been determined which are to., i) To carry out AHP method for selection of conditioning factors ranking for agriculture crop., ii) To determine suitability for the agriculture land of the Perak. The data research using satellite images provided by USGS earth explorers such as Landsat 8 (OLI), rainfall data, p.H soil data, which is soil grid, climate and soil fertility, will be used in this study. The second phase is data processing by using geospatial and Remote Sensing (RS), which are Reclassification, and Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP). For the third phase, the result is the analysis of the AHP method based on the characteristic from the calculations, and from that, the land suitable of the Perak plain for both agricultures has been produced by map. This study is beneficial to increase their production of oil palm and paddy helps the development agriculture for both planting

The major differences is that the supercapacitor utilize higher surface area of an electrode and thinner dielectrics in order to achieve higher capacitances values. By that, a supercapacitor will produce higher energy density compared to the conventional capacitor and also higher power densities when compared to a conventional batteries. By that, the interest for supercapacitor has increased in various type and numbers of applications day by day. The determinants of consumer's intention towards e-shopping among teachers at SMK Aminuddin Baki / Asdilla Ahmad
Full text linkE-shopping (on-line shopping) is increasingly becoming most popular in Malaysia by supplanting the traditional store shopping behavior of the large number of customers. The study is focusing on consumer's intention towards e-shopping among teachers at SMK Aminuddin Saki prepared for final project paper in completion of the courses in BSA (Hons) Finance. The data were collected from those Malaysian consumers who some experience on e-shopping. There are five independent variables (IV). Therefore, this research is aims to investigate whether the products and service attributes (PS), web characteristics (WC), perceived risk (PR), perceived pricing (PP) and perceived benefits (PB) have significant influence on consumer's intention towards e-shopping (Cl) among teachers at SMK Aminuddin Saki. A total of 106 teachers at SMK Aminuddin Saki completed the self administered questionnaire of intention towards e-shopping. The respondents come from various income, so the result obtain should be generalized. The findings show that all the PS, WC, PR, PP and PB have positive relationship with Cl. Therefore, a better understanding of the factors that influence e-shopping intention would help in planning better marketing strategies in targeted segments

Implementation of KH Ahmad Dahlan's educational thoughts in the merdeka curriculum
Full text linkThis research aims to see how the thoughts of KH Ahmad Dahlan are implemented in the kurikulum merdeka that is being promoted by the government through KEMDIKBUDRISTEK. The research method used is a literature review where the author collects data on the educational thoughts of KH Ahmad Dahlan, independent curriculum and discusses how it is implemented. The results of the study show that the thoughts of KH Ahmad Dahlan are implemented in the independent curriculum in several aspects including: in the education system, namely the integration of religious and Scientific knowledge curricula, in the aspect of educational goals, namely the formation of students who are religiously knowledgeable and intelligent in insight and scientific views which are reflected in the Pancasila student profile, in terms of technical implementation, namely indications of pending development of educational implementation, in terms of learning methods namely contextual learning which is reflected in intracurricular and cocurricular learning models on independent curriculum. In addition to these four aspects, both KH Ahmad Dahlan and the concept of independent curriculum focus on developing students both individually and socially. The implication of this research is the formation of educational institutions that truly become an answer to the needs of students in facing the development of time, not just schools as a formality to get a diploma. As for educators, they should be more open-minded so that they are ready to develop and ready to become a solution for student development

(KPM). Pengumpulan data kajian dilaksanakan melalui soal selidik yang mempunyai item-item yang sama dalam sebelum dan selepas bekursus serta soalan open-ended yang
boleh menyokong dapatan kuantitatif. Sampel kajian ini melibatkan seramai 335 responden yang terdiri daripada Pengetua dan Guru Besar yang telah menghadiri program dan kursus di IAB. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan peserta dapat menambahkan pengetahuan dan kefahaman serta kemahiran kendiri sebelum dan selepas peserta menghadiri kursus
terutama dalam aspek-aspek umum seperti dasar dan prosedur kewangan, aspek nilai dan aspek proses pengurusan kewangan itu sendiri. Selain itu, dapatan kajian juga mendapati
terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan dalam peningkatan pengetahuan dan kefahaman serta kemahiran kendiri tersebut. Hal ini dikukuhkan oleh dapatan soalan open-ended yang menunjukkan kursus ini dapat membantu responden dalam menguruskan kewangan sekolah dengan lebih berkeyakinan, lebih berpengetahuan, lebih berkemahiran, lebih berhemat dan lebih bersistematik. Selain itu, kajian mendapati munculnya kemahiran-kemahiran baru
seperti kemahiran menyelia, kemahiran mengawal, kemahiran membimbing, kemahiran menyemak, kemahiran bekerjasama dan lain-lain lagi. Kajian juga mengenal pasti masalah-masalah yang dihadapi oleh pengurus sekolah dalam menguruskan kewangan sekolah. Antara masalah utamanya adalah kurang pengetahuan dan kemahiran dalam

A metaphoric rhetorical criticism on Aminuddin Baki's speech: some preliminary findings
Full text linkThe purpose of this paper is to look at the Aminuddin Baki’s Torch Movement Speech (Ceramah Gerakan Obor) from the critical theory of metaphorical perspective. The study of metaphor is considered important because it has been used by many speech writers, authors, and CEOs in big organisations to strengthen the impact of their speeches. Metaphors are used to amplify meanings in one’s speech. The objective of the study is to identify the type of metaphors employed and how the metaphors are conveyed within the Torch Movement Speeches. The study also hopes to identify the direction of metaphor used in terms of positive, negative or neutral which is predominant in the speech. Numerous studies have been done on the biographical portion of Aminuddin Baki but not of the particular speeches he had made on the progression of the natives in Malaysia as a whole. The late Aminuddin Baki was known as a man of great purpose and was committed to seeing the advancement of Malaysians in education. This study used a qualitative method through a rhetorical analysis of one of Aminuddin Baki’s Torch Movement speech. Using Neo-Aristotelian Criticism perspective in the analysis of speech, this study demonstrates the relevance in the application of ancient Malay metaphor in modern day communication interaction among the people

Full text linkAutomatic Night Lamp with Morning Alarm System is a simple yet powerful concept, which uses transistor as a switch. By using this system manual works are 100% removed. It automatically switches ON lights when the sunlight goes below the visible region of our eyes. This is done by a sensor called Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) which senses the light actually like our eyes. It automatically switches OFF lights whenever the sunlight comes, visible to our eyes and activates the morning alarm. By using this system energy consumption is also reduced because nowadays the manually operated street lights are not switched off even the sunlight comes and also switched on earlier before sunset. In this project, no need of manual operation like ON time and OFF time setting. LDR and transistor are the main components of the project. The resistance of light dependent resistor (LDR) varies according to the light falling on it. This LDR is connected as biasing resistor of the transistor. According to the light falls on the LDR, the transistor is operated in saturation and cut off region. This transistor switches the relay to switch on / off the light. This project uses regulated 12V, 750mA power supply. 7812 three terminal voltage regulator is used for voltage regulation. Bridge type full wave rectifier is used to rectify the ac output of secondary of 230/18V step down transformer
