    Abstrak Cerpen “Pulang†karya Sinema Melikasih Hulu dikaji dengan menggunakan pendekatanstruktural Tzvetan Todorov. Karya ini dibedah menggunakan teori struktural Tzvetan Todorov.Dalam teori tersebut ada tiga hal yang dapat dikaji berdasarkan struktur karya, yaitu aspeksintaksis, aspek semantik, dan aspek verbal. Dari hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan,ditemukan bahwa dari segi aspek semantik terlihat bahwa alur cerpen “Pulang†adalah alurprogresif. Aspek semantik yang dalam hal ini dikaitkan dengan unsur penokohan tokohAmamoni dan tokoh Bago. Tokoh Amamoni memiliki sifat sabar, menghormati keputusan,dan ingin berubah. Sedangkan tokoh Barok memiliki sifat provokator dan tidak ingin adasaingan. Dari aspek verbal, pengarang menggunakan pencerita luar dan wicara alihan.Kata-kata kunci: semiotik, teori struktural Tzvetan Todorov, “Pulang†AbstractThe short story "Pulang" by Sinema Melikasih Hulu was studied using Tzvetan Todorov'sstructural approach. This work was dissected using Tzvetan Todorov's structural theory. In thistheory, there are three things that can be studied based on the structure of the work, namely thesyntactic aspect, the semantic aspect, and the verbal aspect. From the analysis that has been done,it is found that from the semantic aspect, it can be seen that the story line "Pulang" is a progressiveline. The semantic aspect in this case is associated with the characterizing elements of theAmamoni and Barok figures. Amamoni characters have a patient nature, respect decisions, andwant to change. Meanwhile, Baroks figures are provocative and do not want rivals. From theverbal aspect, the author uses external storytellers and distorted speech.     Physics education study program students should have a high level of understanding of physics concepts. However, in reality the level of understanding of physics concepts for students in physics education study programs is still low. The aim of this research is to determine the distribution of students' level of conceptual understanding in the physics education study program in their first year. The research method used by the author is quantitative descriptive. This research was conducted on 43 Class C Physics Education study program students Class C of 2022 in their first year studying at Yogyakarta State University. The results of this research show that the level of conceptual understanding of Physics Education study program students in the Physics Measurement Analysis (APF) and Analytical Mechanics courses is very different in their first year of study with the average UAS score in the APF course being 2.89 and in the Analytical Mechanics course of 9.04. Therefore, alternatives are needed to improve and equalize student understanding of concepts in courses in the Physics Education study program, one of which is by improving the quality of teaching and organization in the learning process, increasing student involvement in learning physics, using effective learning methods to increase understanding. physics concepts, as well as increasing collaboration between students, lecturers and institutions in increasing understanding of physics concepts

    Issues and challenges regarding understanding Aqidah are interesting things to research, considering the long history of the development of Islam in the State of Kedah, which strictly adheres to the Aqidah of Ahli Sunnah Wal Jama'ah. The Sultanate and Islamic clerics of Kedah strive that the Aqidah Ahli Sunnah Wal Jama'ah education delivered by Imam Abu Hasan al-Asy'ari and Imam Abu Mansur al-Maturidi must be accepted by all Kedah Muslims. This study discusses the issues and challenges in understanding the Aqidah of Muslims in the State of Kedah, Malaysia, with a focus on the comparison between the older and younger generations. Major changes in social frameworks, technology and global cultural influences have had a significant impact on the thinking and understanding of Aqidah, the older generation tends to be more attached to traditions, Islamic boarding school teachings and recitations at each mosque. Meanwhile, the younger generation who are exposed to various forms of information media tend to find it difficult to learn in a structured and traditional manner. This study uses a qualitative approach through interviews and document findings and pays attention to empirical factors to identify differences in understanding patterns between the two generations.  And how to turn the challenge of these differences into an opportunity to increase understanding of Aqidah in both the older and younger generations. This article emphasizes the importance of an approach to preaching and Aqidah education that is inclusive, dynamic and keeps up with current developments so that understanding of Aqidah between generations can be strengthened
