Associação de fertilizantes de liberação controlada e remineralizador para produção de mudas de Solanum diploconos e Mimosa flocculosa

Esforços em diversas áreas do conhecimento têm sido realizados a fim de promover a recomposição de áreas rurais com déficit de vegetação nativa perante a legislação vigente. Este cenário gera uma demanda crescente de mudas de espécies florestais nativas com qualidade adequada e que sejam capazes de cumprir papéis funcionais na restauração florestal. Outro desafio é a necessidade de desenvolvimento novas utilizações para resíduos decorrentes de atividades econômicas que geram materiais de difícil disposição e baixo valor agregado, como é o caso da mineração. Este trabalho teve como objetivo verificar a viabilidade da utilização de remineralizador de solo como componente do substrato e de fertilizantes de liberação controlada (FLC) na produção de mudas de Solanum diploconos (Mart.) Bohs e Mimosa flocculosa Burkart em tubetes. Para isso, foi realizada avaliação física e química de substrato comercial de casca de pinus misturada a doses de 5 à 30% de remineralizador para que fossem observadas as alterações causadas pela adição do produto ao substrato. Posteriormente, foi realizado um experimento fatorial com doses de remineralizador (0,10, 20 e 30% do volume do tubete) e doses de FLC (0, 4, 8 e 12 kg/m³) em cada uma das espécies avaliadas, formando 16 tratamentos. As mudas tiveram sua altura (H) e diâmetro (DC) mensurados aos 90, 120 e 150 dias após a semeadura. Aos 150 dias, também foi realizada uma avaliação destrutiva para aferição da massa seca da parte aérea, raízes e total. A partir disso, foram calculados os índices de qualidade de Dickson (IQD) e robustez (H/DC). Os resultados indicaram que a adição do remineralizador ao substrato, em qualquer uma das doses testadas, alterou todos os parâmetros químicos e físicos avaliados. Com relação às espécies, S. diploconos não obteve resposta ao uso do remineralizador como componente do substrato, enquanto a dose de FLC de 8 kg/m³ de substrato foi suficiente para gerar as melhores respostas na maior parte dos parâmetros analisados. Já para M. flocculosa, os resultados apontaram que dose de remineralizador de 10 a 30% foram benéficas ao crescimento da espécie, desde que associadas a uma dose de FLC de pelo menos 4 kg/m³ de substrato, demonstrando interação entre os fatores analisados. Restauração florestal.Abstract: The Atlantic Rainforest had its original area reduced to small fragments scattered in the landscape. Efforts have been made to promote forest restoration of rural areas with native vegetation deficit under current legislation. This scenario generates an increased demand for seedlings of native forest species that are able to fulfill functional roles in forest restoration. Another challenge is the need to develop new uses for waste resulting from economic activities that generate materials that are difficult to dispose of and have low added value, such as mining. This work aimed to verify the feasibility of using rock powder as substrate component and controlled release fertilizer (CRF) in the production of Solanum diploconos (Mart.) Bohs and Mimosa flocculosa Burkart seedlings in tubes. For this, a physical and chemical evaluation of a commercial pine bark substrate mixed at doses of 5-30% rock powder was performed to observe the changes caused by the addition of the product to the substrate. Subsequently, a factorial experiment with rock powder doses (0.10, 20 and 30% of the volume of the cartridge) and CRF doses (0, 4, 8 and 12 kg/m³) were performed in each of the evaluated species, forming 16 treatments. The seedlings had their height (H) and diameter (DC) measured at 90, 120 and 150 days after sowing. At 150 days, a destructive evaluation was also performed to measure the dry mass of the shoot, roots and total (shoots + roots). From this, the Dickson Quality Indices (DQI) and robustness (H/DC) were calculated. The results indicate that the addition of rock powder at any of the doses tested altered all chemical and physical parameters in the evaluated substrates. Regarding the species, S. diploconos did not respond to the use of rock powder as substrate component and the FLC dose of 8 kg/m³ of substrate was sufficient to generate the best responses in most of the analyzed parameters. For M. flocculosa, the results indicate that any dose of remineralizer (10 to 30%) was beneficial to the growth of the species, as long as associated with a FLC dose of at least 4 kg/m³ of substrate, demonstrating interaction between the factors analyzed. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
