Fevzi (MEF Author) -- 13.Eylül.2016 tarihine kadar yazar sürümüne erişim kısıtı vardır.Abstract The flow pattern around a NACA0012 airfoil undergoing harmonic plunging motion corresponding to the deflected wake phenomenon reported by Jones and Platzer (Exp Fluids 46:799–810, 2009) is investigated in detail using direct numerical simulations. An arbitrary Lagrangian–Eulerian formulation based on an unstructured side-centered finite volume method is utilized in order to solve the incompressible unsteady Navier–Stokes equations. The Reynolds number is chosen to be 252, and the reduced frequency of plunging motion (k = 2?fc/U?) and the plunge amplitude non-dimensionalized with respect to chord are set to be 12.3 and 0.12, respectively, as in the experimental study of Jones and Platzer (2009). The present numerical simulations reveal a highly persistent transient effect, and it takes two orders of magnitude larger duration than the heave period to reach the time-periodic state. In addition, the three-dimensional simulation reveals that the flow field is three-dimensional for the parameters used herein. The calculation reproduces the deflected wake and shows a good agreement with the experimental wake pattern.     Pimpla turionellae L. (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae)’nın farklı dozlardaki zehrinin ve parazitlemesinin konağı Galleria mellonella L. (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae)’nın hemolenf proteinleri üzerine olan etkileri araştırıldı. Hemolenf proteinleri spektrofotometrik ve Sodyum Dodesil Sülfat Poliakrilamid Jel Elektroforez (SDS-PAGE) teknikleri kullanılarak analiz edildi. Jeller tarandıktan sonra, bantların optik densitometrik değerleri analiz edildi. Parazitlenmiş ve zehirle muamele edilen konak pup hemolenfindeki protein miktarları kontrol gruplarıyla karşılaştırıldığında, muameleden 4, 8 ve 24 saat sonrasında değişiklik göstermedi. Hemolenfte belirlenen 19.6-181.12 kDa aralığındaki on yedi farklı proteinden 23.418, 24.714, 32.434, 34.811 ve 45.385 kDa olanların miktarları parazitleme ve zehir etkisine bağlı olarak değişiklik gösterdi. Larvaların hemolenfindeki proteinlerin elektroforetik dağılımlarında hem kontrol grubunda hem de zehir enjekte edilen gruplarda pupa hemolenfinden farklı olarak 33.823 ve 41.553 kDa büyüklüğünde iki yeni protein belirlendi. Bununla birlikte, larvalarda 45.385, 99.000 ve 126.850 kDa büyüklüğündeki üç band belirlenmedi. Larvalarda hemolenf proteinlerinden bazıları enjeksiyondan 8 saat sonrasında artış gösterirken, diğer proteinler tüm zaman noktalarında değişiklik göstermedi. 34.811 kDa’luk proteinin miktarı 0.02 ve 0.05 kese eşdeğeri zehir (KEZ) dozlarının enjeksiyonundan 8 saat sonra azalma gösterirken 41.553 ve 43.412 kDa büyüklüğündeki proteinler 0.1 kese eşdeğeri zehir (KEZ) dozu haricindeki tüm dozların enjeksiyonundan sonra artış gösterdi. Konak hemolenfinde zehirleme ve zehir enjeksiyonuna bağlı olarak proteinlerde kalitatif bir değişiklik yani yeni bir protein belirlenmedi. Bu nedenle, P. turionellae parazitleme veya zehirleme yoluyla konak G. mellonella’yı düzenlemesinde konağın plazma proteinlerinde kantitatif değişikliklere neden olduğunu ancak yeni proteinlerin salgılanmasının düzenlenmesinde etkili olmadığını ileri sürmekteyiz.The effects of dose-dependent envenomation and by parasitization of Pimpla turionellae L. (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) on the hemolymph protein profile of its host Galleria mellonella L. (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) were investigated. Hemolymph proteins were analyzed using spectrophotometry and sodium dodecyl sulphate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE). The gel was subsequently scanned and the optical densities (OD) of the bands were analyzed. The quantities of proteins detected 4, 8, and 24 h post-treatments in hemolymph of parasitized and envenomated host pupae did not differ much when compared with those of controls. Of the seventeen different protein bands detected at a range of 19.6-181.12 kDa in the hemolymph, there were only changes in OD values of bands at 23.418, 24.714, 32.434, 34.811, and 45.385 kDa following envenomation and parasitism. The electrophoretic pattern of hemolymph proteins from venom injected and control groups of larvae did not differ much from that of pupae except for new protein bands detected at 33.823 and 41.553 kDa. However, three bands with 45.385, 99.000, and 126.850 kDa were not detected in larvae. Hemolymph protein quantity remained steady at all time points tested except for increases for some bands at 8 h following envenomation. The amount of 34.811 kDa protein decreased immediately at 8 h post- injection of 0.02 and 0.05 VRE of venom whereas injection all venom doses except 0.1 VRE resulted in an increase in the amount for 41.553 and 43.412 kDa proteins. There were no qualitative changes in term of novel protein bands in the hemolymph of hosts. Therefore, we suggest that host regulation of G. mellonella by parasitism or envenomation of P. turionellae involves quantitative changes in the host plasma proteins but does not lead to the up-regulation of novel proteins

    Assuring Dependability of Software Reuse: An Industrial Standard

The prestandard IEC/PAS 62814 (Dependability of Software Products Containing Reusable Components – Guidance for Functionality and Tests), which has recently been released, addresses the functionality, testing, and dependability of software components to be reused and products that contain software to be used in more than one application; that is, reused by the same or by another development organization, regardless of whether it belongs to the same or another legal entity than the one that has developed this software. This paper introduces into this pre-standard and give hints how to use it. The author, who chaired its realization that started in 2006, briefly summarizes the difficult process to bring the industrial partners with controversial interests to a consensus

    WOS: 000334649900001The effects of dose-dependent envenomation by and parasitization of Pimpla turionellae Linnaeus (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) on the ratio of hemolymph free amino acids of the host species Galleria mellonella Linnaeus (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) pupae and larvae were investigated. Of the seventeen different free amino acids detected in the hemolymph of host pupae and larvae by high performance liquid chromatography, the ratio of free amino acids from parasitized and envenomated host pupae did not differ much when compared with those of unparasitized, null- or PBS-injected controls at different time points post-treatments. The exceptions to this trend were an increase in parasitized host pupae for glutamic acid with regard to other experimental groups at 4 and 8 h and a decrease in parasitized host pupae for leucine with regard to 0.01 and 0.05 VRE at 24 h post-treatments. In contrast to pupae, hemolypmh free amino acids of G. mellonella larvae differed upon venom injection among treatments and at different time points post-treatments. The ratios of alanine and leucine at 8 h and glutamic acid, serine, glycine+glutamine, valine, methionine, and phenylalanine at 24 h post-treatments differed from those of controls in treatment groups. However, there appeared no changes in the ratio of hemolypmh free amino acids in host larvae at 4 h post-treatments.     WOS: 000298216800001The non-target effects of the plant growth regulator gibberellic acid (GA(3)) on host and parasitoid pre-adult development along with adult parasitoid longevity and size were examined using the endoparasitoid Pimp la turionellae (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) reared on its host Galleria mellonella (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) treated with different doses of the GA(3) in diet. Total protein, carbohydrate, and lipid content of hemolymph from parasitoid and host larvae were also evaluated with respect to GA(3) doses. Host development from egg to adult took 86-112 d. However, adult completed pre-adult development at an average of 34 d earlier than controls at the highest dose of 5,000 ppm. GA(3) treatment had the most significant effect on the egg-larval developmental time of host with more than 35% decrease at doses >1,000 ppm. GA(3) treatment did not affect the adult emergence time of parasitoids reared on hosts exposed to different doses. Adult longevity of wasps increased at 50, 100, and 200 ppm, whereas a decrease in longevity was apparent at 2,000 ppm with respect to controls. GA(3) treatment did not affect the adult length of wasps at doses 500 ppm. Total carbohydrate of wasp larvae increased at 100 and 1,000 ppm but decreased at 200 and 5,000 ppm. The potential significance of GA(3) on pest species and its natural enemy which may be used in Integrated Pest Management programs is discussed

    Bu çalışma, Osman Fevzi Olcay&apos;ın Muhtasar Menakıb-ı Mevlâna adlı eserinin Osmanlı Türkçesinden günümüz Türkçesine aktarımı çalışmasıdır. Eser, Mevlâna&apos;nın çevresindekilerle olan ilişkileri ile onlarla olan konuşma ve sohbetlerinin özetinden oluşmaktadır. Bu nedenle eserde, Farsça yazılmış beyitler ve Arapça yazılmış ayet, hadis ve bazı sözler bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada bu beyitler ile ayet, hadis ve sözler orijinalinden yazılmış ve latin harflerle okunuşunun yanısıra tercümeleri de yapılmıştır. Bu çalışma &quot;Giriş&quot;&apos;ten sonra üç bölümden meydana gelmektedir: Çalışmanın &quot;Giriş&quot; bölümünde Menkıbeler ile ilgili eserlerin nasıl bir devlet anlayışı ve işleyişi içerisinde yazılmış olduğuna destek oluşturması açısından Mevlâna Celâleddin-i Rûmi&apos;nin yaşadığı XIII. In this work, summary of Mevlâna Celâleddin-i Rûmi&apos;s conversations and relationships with those around him . For this reason, in the work contains Persian couplets written in Persian; verses, hadiths and some words written in Arabic. In this study; this couplets and verses, hadiths and words were written from the original and these sentences are spelled in Latin letters and translated. This study consists of three parts after &quot;Introduction&quot;. In the introduction to the work, information was given about the situation of Anatolia where Mevlâna lived in the XIII. century in terms of providing support for how the works related to legends were written in a state understanding and functioning. Mevlâna the important personalities of the period he lived and the people he was in contact with were specified. In the first chapter, legends ve Mevlâna legends in Sufism and Turskish Literature have been handled and examined. An explanation has been made about the works that are the subject of the legends and Mevlâna&apos;s legends in Turkish literature. In the second chapter, information about the author of the book Osman Fevzi Olcay and his other works and life story are explained. In the third and last chapter, there is a translation of Osman Fevzi Olcay&apos;s book named Muhtasar Menakıb-ı Mevâna which is the subject of this research transposition in to Modern Turkish writing.     The theme of my thesis is life of Mustafa Fevzi bin Numan, his works, his poemson religious topics. He became famous with his scientific works, poems a n d articles in?Ceride-i Sufieye? news paper and his sufi character.Mustafa Fevzi Efendi lived in the last quarter of 19th century and the first quarterof 20th century. He was a very important author in Turkish Religious-Sufi Literature. Hewas born in 1871 in Kemaliye Erzincan. His father name was Numan. When he was sevenyears old, he was taken to Istanbul by Kasapzade Vaiz Efendi, who was one of the lecturerof Padishah ?Huzur Dersleri Hocası? at that time.He examined in his articles social problems of his period and discussed problemsof people in his column in the newspaper. He opposed nationalistic and atheisticmovements and wrote his book ?Izhar-ı Hakikat? opposing thoughts of Abdullah Cevdet. Itis possible to consider influence of Ahmed Ziyaeddin Efendi in his works and poems.He was a prominent poet and author who wrote about the social problems andSufi philosophy of his period in very pure and delicate manner.He advocated Pan Islamism and unification of Muslims.
