Thickness of cutaneous muscle relative to the body height, 2.3%. Prostatic vesicle extrabulbar. Penis papilla cylindrical. Common ovovitelline duct located ventroposteriorly to female atrium. Female genital canal projects posteriorly from the dorsal region of the female atrium. Etymology: Harana is derived from, and an homage to, Prof. Dr Marcos Ryotaro Hara (University of São Paulo) for his contributions to the scientific education of undergraduate and graduate students. The gender is feminine. UMA LEITURA COMPARATIVA ENTRE MEMÓRIAS DE MARTA, DE JÚLIA LOPES DE ALMEIDA, E O BILDUNGSROMAN NA EUROPA E NO BRASIL: A COMPARATIVE READING BETWEEN MEMÓRIAS DE MARTA, BY JÚLIA LOPES DE ALMEIDA, AND THE EUROPEAN AND THE BRAZILIAN BILDUNGSROMAN
No full textThis paper aims to analyze Memórias de Marta, a novel by Júlia Lopes de Almeida, in the light of the concept of Bildungsroman and its presence in Brazilian literature. With the support of analyzes of the subgenre from Wilma Patricia Maas (2000), Marcus Vinicius Mazzari (2010; 2020a; 2020b), and Franco Moretti (2020), we argue that, although the work of Júlia Lopes de Almeida could not be read as a typical example of this tradition, the comparison reveals significant contrasts for the understanding of the novel. Then we propose two other comparative readings: at first one with Daniel Defoe’s Moll Flanders, again highlighting its differences; and, secondly, with the Brazilian novel from 1930s, with which Memórias de Marta would be closer, thus revealing its significant position in the development of Brazilian literature.O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar Memórias de Marta, romance de Júlia Lopes de Almeida, à luz do conceito de Bildungsroman e de sua presença no contexto da literatura brasileira. Partindo das considerações de Wilma Patricia Maas (2000), Marcus Vinicius Mazzari (2010; 2020a; 2020b) e Franco Moretti (2020) acerca do subgênero, argumenta-se que a obra de Júlia Lopes de Almeida não poderia ser lida como um exemplar típico dessa tradição, mas que os contrastes revelados pela comparação são significativos para a compreensão da obra. Propõe-se, então, outros dois diálogos: primeiro com Moll Flanders, romance de Daniel Defoe, destacando novamente as diferenças; e, em segundo lugar, com o romance de 30, com os quais Memórias de Marta guardaria maior proximidade, revelando, assim, uma posição significativa no desenvolvimento de nossa literatura
