The relationship between phoneme perception and production
No full textTwenty-eight typically developing preschool children were tested in 2 experiments. In a perception experiment, the children heard phonologically minimal quartets of words and chose which of 4 pictures matched the target word (e.g., selecting a picture of a snail from among pictures of snail, sail, nail, and mail). In a production experiment, they repeated the target word (e.g., snail). These experiments revealed evidence of a link between perception and production at age 4 and 5, but not at age 3, suggesting that the link between speech perception and production develops during the preschool years.M.S.Includes bibliographical referencesby Aliza Lichtenstei

Quality and Flavor of ‘Aliza’ Fruit: A Unique Pomelo × Mandarin Hybrid
No full text‘Aliza’ is a new pomelo × mandarin hybrid (Citrus maxima, cv. Red Chandler × Citrus reticulata, cv. Ora) developed by the Israeli citrus breeding program at the Volcani Institute. Here, we aimed to characterize the quality and flavor of ‘Aliza’ fruit as compared to other commercial citrus fruit, specifically pomelo (C. maxima), grapefruit (Citrus paradisi), orange (Citrus sinensis) and mandarin (C. reticulata). ‘Aliza’ fruits have a similar size as grapefruits, but have a thinner peel and a unique yellowish/golden color. ‘Aliza’ fruits are completely seedless and have especially high juice contents. They also have a unique, highly preferred flavor, characterized by high sweetness and moderate bitterness and acidity, with strong citrusy and tropical fruity aromas. Sensory analyses conducted with the aid of a trained panel and an electronic tongue revealed that the flavor of ‘Aliza’ fruits is different from the flavors of other citrus species. Consumer acceptance and preference tests revealed that ‘Aliza’ fruit are highly appreciated and favored. The aroma volatile profile of ‘Aliza’ fruit was somewhat similar to those of pomelo and grapefruit, but very different from those of orange and mandarin. Muwaššaḥāt ebraiche e ḫarağāt romanze. Rimario
Full text linkIl contributo presenta al lettore italiano il rimario delle muwaššaḥāt ebraiche con ḫaraǧāt romanze, corredato di scelte traduttive in lingua italiana, accompagnato da un ampio saggio introduttivo e da note di commento. Alla descrizione del genere muwaššaḥ, caratteristico di Al-Andalus, segue una sintesi storica degli studi e un’analisi della rima, degli artifici retorici e stilistici contenuti nei componimenti, fondata sull’osservazione del rimario. Nelle muwaššaḥāt la rima è fondamentale: giochi di parole, di suoni e di senso collegano i versi, spesso sovrapponendosi, oltrepassando i confini tra lingue tanto diverse come l’arabo, l’ebraico, e i dialetti romanzi. Il contributo mette in rilievo la relazione tra le muwaššaḥāt e le loro ḫaraǧāt, particolarmente evidente nei rimanti delle ultime strofe, sia sul piano rimico che semantico. Citazioni bibliche, etimologie e scelte lessicali vengono individuate e discusse, evidenziando al tempo stesso come il suono dell’ebraico e dell’arabo sia combinato con quello dei termini romanzi. Da queste riflessioni nasce l’ipotesi di un lavoro sul lessico delle muwaššaḥāt ebraiche con ḫarağāt romanze, di cui nel presente studio si riporta un primo passo in forma di appendice. Le ḫaraǧāt sono state a lungo studiate separatamente dai luoghi testuali in cui erano inserite, e, d’altro canto, tutte le ḫaraǧāt romanze, staccate dai loro componimenti, sono spesso considerate un corpus unico. Nel rimario ogni componimento è considerato nella sua interezza, sullo sfondo della complessa tradizione delle muwaššaḥāt. Lo studio si pone come contributo alla linea interpretativa, ormai generalmente accettata, che considera la letteratura di Al-Andalus un esempio di ibridazione e contaminazione interculturale. La realizzazione del rimario, le traduzioni, e la proposta del lessico, muovono dalla considerazione delle muwaššaḥāt come testi poetici di grande ricchezza lessicale e compositiva che meritano di essere letti anche per il loro valore estetico

Percetakan Aliza menjual jasa dari mulai pembuatan percetakan faktur atau nota, kop surat, kartu nama, hangtag, kartu undangan, exbender dan kaper. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian berorientasi objek dan metode pengembangan waterfall. Desain penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dan tindakan. Alat perancangan sistem yang digunakan untuk menggambarkan model sistem diantaranya Use Case Diagram, Skenario Use Case Activity Diagram, Sequence Diagram, Class Diagram dan Deployment Diagram. Dalam pembangunan Sistem Informasi Penyewaan dan Penjualan Produk dan Jasa ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman JAVA dan MySql sebagai database.Sistem yang diusulkan ini dapat digunakan dalam membantu proses pengolahan data pemesanan, pembelian dan produksi pada percetakan Aliza.
