Electromagnetic fields and optomechanics in cancer diagnostics and treatment
In this paper, we discuss biological effects of electromagnetic (EM) fields in the context of cancer biology. In particular, we review the nanomechanical properties of microtubules (MTs), the latter being one of the most successful targets for cancer therapy. We propose an investigation on the coupling of electromagnetic radiation to mechanical vibrations of MTs as an important basis for biological and medical applications. In our opinion, optomechanical methods can accurately monitor and control the mechanical properties of isolated MTs in a liquid environment. Consequently, studying nanomechanical properties of MTs may give useful information for future applications to diagnostic and therapeutic technologies involving non-invasive externally applied physical fields. For example, electromagnetic fields or high intensity ultrasound can be used therapeutically avoiding harmful side effects of chemotherapeutic agents or classical radiation therapy
Rescue thrombolysis partial failure in massive PE complicated with in-transit thrombus
Toktam Alirezaei,1 Zahra Ansari Aval2 1Cardiology Department of Shohaday-e-Tajrish Hospital, Shahid Behesti University of Medical Science, Tehran, Iran; 2Cardiovascular Research Center, Shahid Behesti University of Medical Science, Tehran, Iran Abstract: A 58-year-old man who presented with syncope, dyspnea, and hemodynamic compromise was found to have large free-floating right atrial thrombuses on echocardiogram. Decision was made to transfer the patient for emergent atriotomy. Cardiothoracic surgeons declared the patient as inoperable and recommended to use a lytic agent. Alteplase was administered with subsequent near-complete resolution of symptoms and near-normalization of echocardiographic parameters. The post-thrombolytic course was complicated by saddle pulmonary emboli requiring embolectomy. Catheter embolectomy was not available and cardiothoracic surgeon in other center considered the patient to be very high risk for transferring between hospitals and surgical intervention. Ultimately, the critical decision was made, despite the patient having been administered thrombolytic therapy within the previous 48 hours. Alteplase was given, but was not effective and the patient required surgical intervention. Surgical embolectomy was done successfully in another hospital and the patient was discharged with warfarin. Keywords: right atrial thrombus, pulmonary embolism, rescue thrombolysis, surgical embolectom
Shaker Zahra Author Bibliometric Study - Analysis of Scientific Publications from 1985 until 2014
The study is presented aims to demonstrate through a bibliometric study, analysis of academic, scientific and technical publications developed by Shaker Zahra between the years 1985-2014, representing 29 years of study. To enhance this objective, we sought in the first instance to a bibliographic description of bibliometrics, entrepreneurship and the relationship between them. After this, was demonstrated academic and professional history Zahra, describing their field. In sequence, it was presented the methodology of the study, which had focused its characterization longitudinal and quantitative research, which allowed the development of bibliometric analysis. The final part included the description of limitations and proposals for future studies, closing the research, with conclusions and references. The study was developed through the analysis of 160 scientific papers published by Shaker Zahra in partnership with other researchers in high-impact journals and academic and scientific importance were obtained at Portal Capes and Google Scholar Portal

Degrees of Kalman varieties of tensors
Funding Information: The idea of this project was conceived during Shahidi's postdoc at Università di Firenze. We thank Giorgio Ottaviani for very useful discussions and encouragement. We thank Jan Draisma for explaining to us a way of deriving the equations in Example 41 . The first author thanks Dr. Alireza Firoozfar and Dr. Mohsen Afsharchi for their support. The second author is partially supported by the Academy of Finland Grant 323416 . During most of the preparation of the manuscript, the third author was a postdoc at Universität Bern, supported by Vici Grant 639.033.514 of Jan Draisma from the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research . We thank two anonymous referees for their useful comments and questions that also helped to improve the presentation. They were first studied by Ottaviani and Sturmfels in the context of matrices. We extend recent results of Ottaviani and the first author to the partially symmetric setting. We describe a generating function whose coefficients are the degrees of these varieties and we analyze its asymptotics, providing analytic results à la Zeilberger and Pantone. We emphasize the special role of isotropic vectors in the spectral theory of tensors and describe the totally isotropic Kalman variety as a dual variety.Peer reviewe

The author conducted data collection by means of observation and interviews directly to the object of research. Analysis was conducted by the author in completing this final report is in the form of an analysis of the system of internal control of cash receipts deposit insurance premiums that have been implemented enterprise. From the analysis The Author find doubled job on cashier and journal function from the 2nd Director and there is not appropriate journal. As the result of the analysis, The Author suggests to help the company in the future, those are additional function for Accounting Unit and add General Journal and separate the book and money kept jobs

PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN MENGGUNAKAN ANALISIS BIAYA DIFERENSIAL PADA USAHA ZAHRA LANGGENG KONVEKSI DAN SABLON
The convection business is a profitable business, because of the people needs forclothing have increased all the time. However, these circumstances make thecompany confused if the order is less than or exceed the production capacity. Oneof these companies is Zahra Langgeng Konveksi dan Sablon. The purpose of thisstudy was to determine the extent of differential cost analysis influenced thedecision to accept orders. With description research trough calculating andanalyzing the simple financial notes. The author reach a conclusion that ZahraLanggeng Konveksi dan Sablon still receives a special order after the differentialprofits calculatedKeywords : convection bussiness, differential profits, special orde
Are quantitative histopathologic criteria capable of differentiating psoriasis from chronic dermatitis?

Objective: The aim of this study was to compare the histopathologic diagnostic features of psoriasis with chronic dermatitis quantitatively. Patients and methods: In this study, 30 patients with psoriasis and 30 patients with chronic dermatitis were included. Diagnosis of psoriasis or chronic dermatitis was based on clinicopathologic correlation. Photos of histopathologic slides were provided by LABOMED Digital Camera and LABOMED Microscope. Width and length of rete ridges, minimal thickness of suprapapillary plates, thickness of epidermis, thickness of hyperkeratotic layer, and minimal thickness of granular layer were determined using Pixel Pro software on micrometer scale. Results: Suprapapillary plates and granular layer were significantly thicker in patients with chronic dermatitis compared with patients with psoriasis. The rete ridges were longer and wider, the epidermis was thicker, and the parakeratotic layer was also thicker in patients with psoriasis compared with patients with chronic dermatitis, and the difference between these corresponding parameters in the two groups was statistically significant except for thickness of parakeratotic layer. Moreover, the mean ratio of minimal suprapapillary plate’s thickness to epidermal thickness and the mean ratio of minimal granular layer’s thickness to parakeratotic layer’s thickness were significantly higher in patients with chronic dermatitis compared with those with psoriasis. Conclusion: Despite overlapping histopathologic features in psoriasis and chronic dermatitis, quantitative histopathologic criteria might be valuable for differentiation of these two conditions. Ratios of minimal suprapapillary plate’s thickness to epidermal thickness and minimal granular layer’s thickness to parakeratotic layer’s thickness can be particularly helpful in this regard.
