Evaluasi dan Perkuatan Gedung Utama Bangunan Khusus RSUD Dr. Moh. Soewandhie Surabaya Dengan Fluid Viscous Damper
Gedung utama bangunan khusus RSUD Dr. Moh. Soewandhie Kota Surabaya yang merupakan bangunan beton bertulang dengan 8 Lantai dan 1 Basement ditinjau sebagai bangunan eksisting pada penulisan proyek akhir ini. Bangunan ini memiliki perencanaan awal menggunakan SRPMK sesuai SNI 1726-2012, 1727-2013 dan SNI 2847-2019. Bangunan ini dibangun di atas tanah dengan kondisi tanah lunak (kelas situs SE) dan berdasarkan fungsinya, yaitu rumah sakit, termasuk kedalam kategori resiko IV. Studi ini melakukan evaluasi dan perkuatan bangunan eksisting menggunakan fluid viscous damper (FVD) sebagai alat penahan gempa karena kapasitas elemen eksisting dan simpangan tidak memenuhi syarat ijin setelah dianalisa dengan peraturan gempa terbaru SNI 1726 - 2019.
Pengerjaan proyek akhir ini diawali dengan menganalisis struktur eksisting menggunakan peraturan gempa SNI 1726 – 2012. Kemudian menganalisis struktur eksisting menggunakan peraturan gempa terbaru SNI 1726 – 2019. Terakhir, Perkuatan bangunan eksisting dengan menambahkan FVD sebagai alat penahan gempa pada struktur. Studi ini melakukan uji coba dengan 12 konfigurasi penempatan FVD.
Hasil analisa bangunan eksisting dengan SNI 1726 – 2012 didapatkan nilai simpangan sebesar 53,28 mm di arah X dan 51,78 di arah Y. Setelah di analisa dengan SNI 1726-2019 didapatkan hasil evaluasi simpangan sebesar 82,45 mm di arah X dan 79,85 mm di arah Y, dimana pada lantai 2 - 7 tidak memenuhi syarat simpangan ijin dan menunjukkan kapasitas elemen eksisting melebihi kapasitas ijin. Percobaan perkuatan dengan 12 konfigurasi FVD dilakukan dengan variasi jumlah dan penempatan FVD. Berdasarkan pertimbangan gaya geser dasar dan nilai simpangan dipilih konfigurasi 11 dengan menggunakan32 buah FVD berkapasitas 2000 kN (FVD model 17170). Semua FVD dipasang diluar rangka dengan masing - masing 16 FVD pada arah X dan Y. FVD dipasang dengan breising HSS Circle dengan diameter 318,5 mm dan tebal 9 mm, dengan sistem sambungan gusset plate dan pin baja. Kapasitas elemen eksisting setelah dipasang FVD berada dalam batas kekuatan yang dijinkan.

The special main building Dr. Moh. Soewandhie in Surabaya is being reviewed as existing building in this study. This building has preliminary design using reinforcement concrete with SMRFs according to SNI 1726 – 2012, 1727 – 2013, and 2847 – 2019. This building is built on land with soft soil conditions (SE site class) and based on its function is included in risk category IV. This study evaluated and strengthening the structure with fluid viscous damper (FVD) due to analysis result capacity of existing element and displacement didn’t fulfill the required limit according to latest earthquake regulation SNI 1726 – 2019.
This final project begins with analyzed of the existing structure with earthquake load based on SNI 1726 – 2012. Then, analyzed the existing structure with newest earthquake load based on SNI 1726 – 2019. Last, analyzed the structure after strengthened with FVD. This study conducted a trial with 12 FVD placement configurations.
The results of existing building analysis according SNI 1726-2012 showed that displacements at direction X and Y are 53.28 mm and 51.78 mm. After existing building being evaluated according SNI 1726-2019, The displacements showed at direction X and Y are 82.45 mm and 79.85 mm, where at story 2 until 7 didn’t fulfill the required limits and the capacity of existing element exceed the allowable strength. So that, the existing building being retrofitted with 32 units FVD which capacity of damper is 2000 kN each. All FVD installed at the exterior of the building with total 16 FVDs in each direction X and Y. FVDs are installed with bracing HSS Circle with a 318,5 mm diameter and 9 mm thickness with gusset plate and pin connection, the results of the examination after retrofitting, the displacement in the X direction was reduced by 50.75% to 40,61 mm and the Y direction was reduced by 49,41% to 40,41 mm. The capacity of the existing element after using FVDs is within the limits of allowable strength
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
