Get PDF18 November 2023, Jawatankuasa Pelaksana (Kurikulum) Program Pra-Diploma Kejuruteraan telah menganjurkan bengkel Penyediaan Kertas Cadangan Kurikulum program baru iaitu Pra-Diploma Kejuruteraan. Bengkel yang diketuai oleh Dr Yusnita Mohd Ali, dari Pusat Pengajian Kejuruteraan Elektrik (PPKE) Kampus Pulau Pinang, diadakan bagi menyiapkan rekabentuk dan pelan pengajian lengkap untuk program baru tersebut. Beberapa orang pensyarah dari JSG turut terlibat iaitu En Sharaf Ahmad, En. Mohd Haris Ridzuan Ooi Abdullah, Puan Marina Mokhtar dan Puan Nurul Izza Husin. Turut serta adalah wakil dari Pengajian Kejuruteraan, Jabatan Sains Komputer dan Matematik serta Akademi Pengajian Bahasa. Antara agenda bengkel ini adalah penyediaan pemetaan kursus serta pemurnian dokumen-dokumen berkaitan kurikulum. Bengkel selama satu hari ini diharap dapat memberi ruang dan peluang perbincangan berkenaan kurikulum kepada para pensyarah yang terlibat

Get PDFThis paper aims to analyse the characteristics of a Muslim Malay woman as portrayed in the novel titled ‘Diary of a Nurse’ by Aminah Mokhtar from the perspective of Feminism Talbiah. The concept of Feminism Talbiah integrates Elaine Showalter’s notion of Feminism and Yusuf al-Qardhawi’s thoughts of Muslim women. Talbiah means a total surrender to Allah SWT. Tauhid is an essential element of a Muslim Malay woman who engages in total surrender to Allah SWT in terms of her personality, psychology, spiritual and other aspects of life. Textual analysis of the novel reveals that the main character, who is a Muslim Malay woman named Siti Munirah, holds the concept of talbiah as reflected in her obedience to Allah SWT. Konsep Feminisme Talbiah menggabungkan idea Feminisme Elaine Showalter dan pemikiran wanita Yusuf al-Qardhawi. Talbiah bermaksud menyerah diri secara mutlak kepada Allah SWT. Konsep Feminisme Talbiah memanfaatkan aspek tauhid sebagai elemen penting yang mendasari perwatakan wanita Melayu Islam yang menyerah diri secara mutlak dalam semua aspek kehidupannya baik dari sudut luaran dan dalaman. Aspek luaran terdiri daripada personaliti, ketakwaan dan budaya, manakala aspek dalaman pula terdiri daripada psikologi serta kerohanian. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan perwatakan watak utama dalam novel, iaitu Siti Munirah seorang wanita Melayu Muslim dari sudut personaliti, ketakwaan, budaya, psikologi dan kerohanian adalah sejajar dengan konsep talbiah yang berlandaskan ketauhidannya kepada Allah SWT. Dapat dirumuskan bahawa perwatakan watak wanita Muslim dalam novel ini berpaksikan kepada unsur ketauhidan dan unsur ketauhidan inilah yang diabaikan dalam pemikiran feminism Barat.Kata Kunci: Feminisme, Feminisme Talbiah, Ginokritik, Perwatakan, Tauhi
The relationship between macroeconomic variables towards Islamic stock market in Malaysia / Nurul Ain Ali Mokhtar
Get PDFThis study is to analyze the relationship between macroeconomic variables towards Islamic stock market in Malaysia. The purpose of this study is to observe this relationship in Malaysian context. In order to achieve the objective, an estimation of E-views is used to run and test the regression analysis for this study. The variables used are FBM Emas Shariah Index (FTSE) as the proxy for Islamic stock market, Composite Price Index (CPI) as the proxy for inflation rate, Industrial Production Index (IPI) as the proxy for gross domestic product and Financial Aggregate Supply (M3) as the proxy for money supply. This study used quarterly data from first quarter of 2009 until second quarter of 2016 taken from authorized sources. The findings showed that Islamic stock market volatility is co-integrated with the selected macroeconomic variables in which FTSE is related positively and significantly with IPI, CPI and M3

Get PDFThis study reveals on the important of towards having a good performance based on profitability. From that, the analysis on the profitability performance will be carried out. The reason is because the stability of one company is depending on their profitability performance and how they utilize it for the company benefits. They can operate effectively and efficiently by having good profitability performance. From the financial statement (balance sheet and income statement), the evaluation of the company performance can be done. To analyze the company that involve in this study, the basic tool of financial analysis will be used. The profitability ratios will be calculated based on the information disclosed on the financial statement of the companies. The study identifies the financial strength on certain criteria. There are five types of common profitability ratios will apply to calculate the financial statement such as gross profit margin, net profit margin, operating profit margin, return on asset and return on equity. The determination whether the company doing well in managing their financial activities in the last 5 years can be made by analysis of profitability ratio. An analysis has been given on each of the selected ratios after been calculated. From the ratio, we will know the performance of the company is decrease in year 2008. This is because the cost of good sales of the company is high and affects the company performance. For better performance in the future, the company needs to take some action in order to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the company

As a matter of fact, this development will encourage parents to pay deep attention on children's nutrition, which is important for their growth. CADU has been made for keeping a fresh cooked food. Imagine if you cooked early in the morning and the food still look freshly cooked in the afternoon, the temperature still the same. This is what our group would like to achieve in this project
