Influence of socioeconomic variables in the naranjilla (Solanum quitoense Lam.) production in the rural community of Wamani in the Ecuadorian Amazon
No full textNaranjilla (Solanum quitoense Lam.), is an economic input of vital importance for the Ecuadorian Amazon due to multiple benefits that offers, although it requires studies that provide a basis for the naranjilla cultivation management. The aim of this research was to determine the influence of socioeconomic variables on the naranjilla production from the rural community of Wamani, Napo province in the Ecuadorian Amazon. For the study, a group-type questionnaire was conducted to 40 rural producers of naranjilla in the region, which was structured based on three levels, which included data on the property, crop management and socio-economic aspects. Additionally, a factor analysis was applied to reduce the variables dimensionality. The results showed a pattern of own land distribution which is favorable to develop the family economy. It was found that naranjilla cultivation is the most important item in the community, although there are other crops that guarantee the diversification of the productive systems, which is reflected in the socioeconomic indicators. The T-test of independent samples, indicated that there are no significant differences among indicators for clean and chemical crop management (p≥0.05), which demonstrates the feasibility of use for the cultivation of clean naranjilla as a healthier product with additional benefits for rural producers. The factorial analysis have allowed the reduction of the 16 evaluated variables in three components associated with the economic, social and productive indicators, which explained 79.46% of the total accumulated variance

students, so that the relationship between the use of technological equipment with academic
performance and demonstrate the barriers and challenges faced by teachers and students. For the

analytical, inductive and deductive methods were used for the study, comparison and relation of
the data obtained with the laws already determined by other researchers, to know the different
points of view of the students of this university, a survey with multiple options was applied, which

the university in question to apply new techniques and strategies for the cognitive process of

de los seres humanos, lo que ha implicado algunos cuestionamientos sobre el uso de los equipos
tecnológicos en las aulas de clases debido a que esto puede afectar como favorecer ciertas
habilidades cognitivas de los estudiantes, por lo que además se analizara la relación del uso de los
equipos tecnológicos con el rendimiento académico y demostrar las barreras y desafíos que
enfrentan los docentes y estudiantes. Para el desarrollo de este trabajo de investigación se
emplearon dos tipos de investigación de campo en conjunto con el cuantitativo y cualitativo para
realizar el estudio correspondiente sobre las variables de estudio, se utilizaron tres métodos el
analítico, inductivo y deductivo para el estudio, comparación y relación de los datos obtenidos con
las leyes ya determinadas por otros investigadores, para conocer los diferentes puntos de vistas de
los estudiantes de esta universidad se aplico una encuesta con opciones múltiples las cual permite
que los jóvenes universitarios se inclinen hacia la de su mayor preferencia para que de esta manera
brinden datos concretos para establecer los resultados, estos resultados permitirán que los
docentes, estudiantes y la universidad en cuestión apliquen nuevas técnicas y estrategias para el
proceso cognitivo del aprendizaje mediante el uso de equipos tecnológicos, como conclusión más
de la mitad de la población de estudiantes encuestados creen que los equipos tecnológicos son una
herramienta útil para el aprendizaje por lo que utilizan con mucha frecuencia estos equipos para el
desarrollo de las actividades académicas

No full textCurrently, Quevedo is considered one of the most prosperous cities at the provincial level, presenting one of the greatest growths in the economic and productive sphere compared to other cantons of the provinces, at the national level they are ranked as the third canton whose tax collection grew by a rate of 2.6% per year below Duran and San Jacinto de Yaguachi. The purpose of the research is to carry out the diagnosis for the implementation of a water park on the route of the river-canton Quevedo, Los Ríos Province, for which a survey was applied to 80 people who visited the river route on a weekend. It was determined that 81% of the respondents agree that a water park be implemented in the city of Quevedo, in addition 50% of them stated that they would visit the water park at least once a week in hot weather. 25% of those surveyed indicate that there should be swimming pools for adults and children, with slides included; and that both typical food and fast food restaurants are elementary. 94 are willing to pay up to 3 dollars for admission and 63% would spend between 30 and 40 dollars per visit to the water park. It is concluded through this diagnosis that this amusement center called water park should be implemented and it is recommended to carry out training programs for the personnel that would attend it, as well as to ensure the safety of the premises and the touristsActualmente, Quevedo es considerado una de las ciudades más prósperas a nivel provincial, presentando uno de los mayores crecimientos en el ámbito económico y productivo en comparación con otros cantones de las provincias, a nivel nacional se ubican como el tercer cantón cuya recaudación tributaria creció en una taza del 2.6% anual por debajo de Duran y San Jacinto de Yaguachi. El propósito de la investigación es Realizar el diagnostico para la implementación de un parque acuático en la ruta del rio-cantón Quevedo Provincia Los Ríos, para ello se aplico una encuesta a 80 personas que visitaron en un fin de semana la ruta del rio. Se determino que el 81% de los encuestados están de acuerdo en que se implemente un parque acuático en la ciudad de Quevedo, además el 50% de ellos manifestaron que visitarina el parque acuatico al menos una vez a la semana en época de calor. EL 25 & de los encuestados indican que deben haber piscinas para adultos y para niños, con toboganes incluidos; y que los restaurantes tanto de comida típica como comida rápida son elementales. El 94$ están dispuesto a pagar hasta 3 dólares la entrada y el 63% gastaría entre 30 y 40 dólares por visita al parque acuático. Se concluye mediante este diagnóstico que se debería implementar este centro de diversión llamado parque acuático y se recomienda realizar programas de capacitación para el personal que atendería en el mismo, así como asegurara la seguridad del local y de los turistas

Therefore, the research aims to determine the impact of the development plan and its impact on the tourism sector. Given that the development plan and land use planning helps to organize the management of a territory for social, economic and environmental evolution for all involved. This will allow future planning on the actions that will be taken for the welfare of the territory and thus reach the proposed objective. Especially in the tourism sector that contributes to the economy of the canton. The methodology used is investigative, which allows us to collect all the information and analyze it, creating a formal criterion to answer the questions. From the surveys conducted we were able to obtain as a result that the development plan and land use planning has a good impact on the tourism sector. This research focused its attention primarily on sustainable development that comes after a hard work of awareness and practice to promote tourism activities. For this reason, the objective of this research is to carry out an analysis that allows us to see the weaknesses and strengths of the tourist attractions in the area, and of course directs its vision to a future where tourism in Rio de Janeiro will increase considerably. The methodology applied was of qualitative approach, originally adopted this modality for its base and foundation which is of analytical character.Analyzing the incidence of the Vinces Canton Development Plan and its impact on the Tourism Sector, allows to verify the strengths, opportunities and weaknesses that are presented. No full textThe purpose of this study was to characterize the gastronomic sector of the canton and evaluate the perception of gastronomic tourism in the Quevedo canton and its relationship with the SDGs. The sectors were selected: academia, government and gastronomic entrepreneurs of the canton. Three areas were also analyzed: Social, Economic and Environmental. The questionnaire was applied to 30 experts and the level of perception of each sector was determined using the Likert scale. The results show that the social impacts of gastronomy, the business, government and academic sectors, see it as a strong impact on the development of its tourism sector. The academic, government and business sectors agree that the gastronomy of the Quevedo Canton has a strong impact on the household economy, on the generation of sources of employment and that the gastronomic activity is very profitable. The perception of gastronomic tourism and its relationship with SDGs 8, 12 and 14, it is said that gastronomic tourism works positively as a source of economic growth in the canton. And finally they consider that gastronomy contributes to responsible production and consumption. El sector académico, gubernamental y empresarial, coinciden en que la gastronomía del Cantón Quevedo tiene un fuerte impacto en la economía de los hogares, en la generación de fuentes de empleo y que la actividad gastronómica es muy rentable. La percepción sobre el turismo gastronómico y su relación con los ODS 8, 12 y 14, se dice que el turismo gastronómico funciona positivamente como una fuente del crecimiento económico del cantón. Y finalmente consideran que la gastronomía aporta a la producción y consumo responsable. Se concluye que en la reactivación económica de la localidad es muy necesaria la gastronomía local, por lo que se necesita que el gobierno local (Municipio) brinde los recursos necesarios para el desarrollo y fortalecimiento del sector, a través de espacios de capacitación
