Chronology and origin of «the Alakul culture» in the Trans-Urals. Reflections on the Stanislav A. Grigoriev concept
The paper is devoted to criticism of the concept of Alakul culture origin and history proposed by Stanislav Grigoriev. The author casts doubt on Stanislav Grigoriev opinion about the dating Alakul sites in the Trans-Urals within two separate time periods and about a direct genetic link of Alakul population and inhabitants of Sintashta sites
Explicit algebraic and differential Reynolds stress model application to homogeneously sheared and compressed turbulence
An explicit algebraic and differential Reynolds stress models (EARSM and DRSM) are used to investigate the influence of homogeneous shear and compression on the behaviour of turbulence in the limit of rapid distortion theory (RDT). EARSM is shown to give realizable results and to preserve RDT regime, unlike the eddy-viscosity model (EVM). The DRSM version of our model is in reasonable agreement with RDT theory
Aspects of the Theory of Personality in the Literary Criticism of Apollo Grigoriev in the 1840's
The article reveals the features of posing the problem of personality in the first critical articles of Apollon Grigoriev, a poet, well-known literary and theater critic of the middle of the 19th century, the author of an original method of critical analysis, called by the author himself “organic criticism”. Particular attention is paid to three aspects of the problem of personality in his literary criticism of the 1840s. – sociological, socio-psychological and moral

Use of controlled dynamic impacts on hierarchically structured seismically hazardous faults for seismically safe relaxation of shear stresses
Identifying and validating recurrent structural variants affecting tumor genomes using GROM and VN
Do recurring structural variants in genomes of multiple myeloma patients affect tumorigenesis? We hypothesize that these structural variants play a part in tumorigenesis as they overlap certain genes that have functions related to cancer symptoms.Presented at the annual Celebration of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity while the author was an undergraduate student at Rutgers University-Camden
Eurasianism and the "Skify" group 1930-1933
Eurasianism was a strong intellectual movement among the interwar community of émigrés from Russia and it was reflected in a number of fields in the arts and sciences, including history, linguistics, literature and the fine arts. Transplanting this theory into the fine arts signified a departure from the Western artistic tradition and an attempt to create a new visual code that would express the idea of the wild and anti-European roots of Russian culture. In the large émigré community in Prague this concept was reflected most powerfully in the work of a group called the Scythians (Skify), which was founded at the end of the 1920's by the painter and professor of Ukrainian fine arts studies in Prague, Sergei Mako. The group's programme was formulated by its chair, the art historian Jaromír Pečírka, and the writer and journalist František Kubka, both of whom were linked to the editorial office of the German-language daily Prager Presse. The group had three exhibitions between 1931 and 1933 at Denis's French Institute in Prague and its membership base comprised Nikolai Rodionov and Alexandr Orlov, both of whom were students of Mako, and the painter Grigori Musatov, the sculptors Evgeni Brzezinski and Alexandr Golovin, and the Paris-based painters Boris Grigoriev and Mykola Hlushchenko. Czech artists exhibited..
An introduction to free higher-spin fields (TOPCITE: 130 citazioni su SPIRES HEP)
In this article we begin by reviewing the (Fang-)Fronsdal construction and the nonlocal
geometric equations with unconstrained gauge fields and parameters built by Francia
and the senior author from the higher-spin curvatures of de Wit and Freedman. We
then turn to the triplet structure of totally symmetric tensors that emerges from free
String Field Theory in the α′ → 0 limit and to its generalization to (A)dS backgrounds,
and conclude with a discussion of a simple local compensator form of the field equations
that displays the unconstrained gauge symmetry of the non-local equations
