The Influence of Professional Competence, Organization Support, and Task Commitment toward English Teacher Performance
No full textThe aims of this research are to investigate the influence of positive the direct effect of professional competence, organizational support, and task commitment on the English teacher's performance of SMP and MTs in Kendari. The research applied a survey method with a quantitative approach. The data are collected from 95 English teachers who are selected randomly. The collected data are analyzed by using path analysis. The research results indicate that there is a direct influence of positive professional competence, organizational support, and task commitment on the economic teacher's performance. Also, there is a direct influence of the positive professional competence, organizational support towards the task commitment, and a direct influence of the positive professional competence toward the organization support.Keywords: Organizational support; performance; professional competence; task commitment</jats:p

Get PDFTujuan penelitian kausal ini adalah untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan, kompetensi profesional, kompetensi pedagogik, dan iklim kerja terhadap prestasi kerja guru bahasa inggris SMP Kota Kendari. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode survei dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis jalur. Sampel penelitian guru bahasa Inggris SMP sebanyak 80 orang. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut (1) Ada pengaruh positif langsung gaya kepemimpinan terhadap prestasi kerja; (2) Ada pengaruh positif langsung kompetensi profesional terhadap prestasi kerja; (3) Tidak ada pengaruh positif langsung kompetensi pedagogik terhadap prestasi kerja; (4) Ada dampak positif langsung iklim kerja terhadap prestasi kerja; (5) Ada pengaruh positif langsung gaya kepemimpinan terhadap iklim kerja; (6) Ada pengaruh positif langsung kompetensi profesional terhadap iklim kerja; (7) Ada pengaruh langsung langsung kompetensi pedagogik terhadap iklim kerja. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa prestasi kerja guru bahasa Inggris SMP di Kota Kendari dapat ditingkatkan dengan meningkatkan gaya kepemimpinan, kompetensi profesional, kompetensi pedagogik dan iklim kerj

The purpose of this research is to study how this program can be implemented, the extent to which the program is implemented, the achievement of program objectives as determined, and to look for relationships in the implementation of the program. While the research method used is qualitative research. The evaluation research model used is the DEM (Discrepancy Evaluation Model) Model, a model according to Provus which is also called the Gap Model. This is based on the implementation of the socialization of new student admissions in Islamic economics courses. It is necessary to see the agreement made between the expected results and those that occur in the field as a benchmark to improve the implementation of recruitment. The evaluation results show that the implementation of the socialization policy for admission of new students for the IAIN Kendari postgraduate program has been carried out in accordance with the academic guidelines of the IAIN Kendari and the provisions of the postgraduate IAIN Kendari RKAKL. include: Definition Stage, Installation Stage, Process Stage, Product Stage, Product Comparison Stage Some things that become recommendations to the stakeholders are: 1) Need to develop forms of cooperation with related institutions, especially those related to study permits for civil servants who are in the scope of the Ministry of Religion of Southeast Sulawesi Province, local governments and the business world. 2) Increase the number and competence of lecturers and postgraduate management staff so that they can disseminate effectively to related institutions. 3) Need to prepare sufficient funds to carry out promotions and outreach through print, electronic media, visits to offices and schools and through online information media. 4) Encourage various efforts to conduct socialization by accelerating the issuance of assignments including disbursement of socialization funds prior to implementation of the socialization.Keywords: Socialization Policy, Discrepancy Evaluation Model, Postgraduat

No full textSalah satu model manajemen yang memberikan kewenangan yang luas kepada sekolah untuk pengelolaan sekolah sesuai dengan potensi, harapan dan kebutuhan sekolah adalah Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah. (MBS) Tujuannya MBS adalah untuk meningkatkan kinerja tenaga kependidikan secara profesional, serta meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dan stakeholders. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melakukan analisis terhadap Pelaksanaan Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah pada MA Al-Azhar Amondo. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah pada MA Al-Azhar Amondo adalah : 1) Bidang kurikulum meliputi analisis materi pelajaran, program tahunan, program semesteran, satuan pembelajaran, dan rencana program pembelajaran.2) Bidang kesiswaan meliputi perencanaan penerima siswa baru, kegiatan masa orentasi siswa, penetapan siswa pada kelas tertentu, kehadiran dan disiplin siswa di sekolah, dan program bimbingan konseling bagi siswa yang memiliki kelainan.3) Bidang Kepegawaian meliputi: perencanaan pengembangan guru, pelaksanaan penataran, MGMP, pendidikan lanjutan dan supervisi.4) Bidang keuangan meliputi penyususnan RAPBS, pendekatan dengan pengusaha, pembuatan proposal.5) Bidang sarana dan prasarana meliputi pengelolaan gedung, ruang kelas, meja, kursi, serta alat-alat dan media pengajaran, dan 6) Bidang hubungan masyarakat meliputi: melakukan pendekatan dengan orangtua siswa untuk mensosialisasi program sekolah, melakukan pendekatan kepada pemerintah dan pihak swasta untuk memberikan kontribusi terhadap sekolah.Kata Kunci: Efektivitas, Implementasi, Manajemen Bebasis Sekolah, MA Al-Azhar Amond
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala Madrasah dan PLPG (Pendidikan dan Latihan Profesi Guru) Terhadap Kinerja Guru MTs Se-Kabupaten Kolaka Utara
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala madrasah, pendidikan dan latihan profesi guru terhadap kinerja guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MTs se-Kabupaten Kolaka Utara dengan populasi sebanyak 73 orang yang secara keseluruhan sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analis inferensial setelah memenuhi uji persyaratan analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa:1) kepemimpinan kepala madrasah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru; 2) pendidikan dan latihan profesi guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru; 3) kepemimpinan kepala madrasah, pendidikan dan latihan profesi guru secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan siginifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya penelitian lanjutan tentang pengaruh iklim sekolah terhadap kinerja guru, serta penelitian tentang kesiapan guru dalam transformasi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi.Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan kepala madrasah, PLPG (pendidikan dan latihan profesi guru), kinerja gur
The Influence of Transformational Leadership and Supervisory Style on The Quality Of Primary School Teachers' Services
Get PDFThe purpose of this article is to show how transformational leadership and supervision influence the quality of teacher services. Data were analyzed using path analysis with ninety-five teachers as the units of analysis. The findings indicate both direct and indirect effects on each sub-construct. Substructure 1 includes: 1) the effect of transformational leadership on the quality of elementary school teacher services is 0.24 or 24%. 2) In substructure 2, the effect of transformational leadership on the quality of services achieved by supervisors is 0.32 or 32%. 3) the effect of transformational leadership on supervision is 0.48 or 48%. 4) the indirect effect of transformational leadership on the quality of teacher services through supervision is found to be significant at 4.978 with a P-Value = 0.000. Meanwhile, the indirect effect is 0.115 while the total effect is 0.355 or 35.5%. This study shows that the quality of services is influenced by changes in transformational leadership and supervision. Thus, these two factors can be considered in improving the quality of elementary school teacher services.
