L’écriture de l’épidémie au XXIème siècle, un lieu de rencontre pluridisciplinaire
Get PDFRésumé : Le présent article s'inscrit dans une continuité et un approfondissement de la réflexion sur le processus de l’écriture littéraire de l’épidémie. L'initiative met tout particulièrement l'accent sur le caractère hybride et pluridisciplinaire de cette écriture, et nous retenons comme corpus le roman « En compagnie des hommes » de Véronique Tadjo. A travers duquel, nous essayons de voir comment cette écrivaine franco-ivoirienne utilise une variété de styles d'écriture, de genres littéraires et de disciplines académiques pour créer une narration complexe et riche en se servant des références, scientifiques, historiques, anthropologiques et sociologiques.

Get PDFNowadays, it is widely recognized that autonomous robots are “intelligent” machines, capable of performing complex tasks in a dynamical environment without explicit human intervention. Moreover, these tasks are performed while ensuring safe interactions between human and robots. Hence, ensuring Collision Avoidance is critical in designing any autonomous system. Concretely, most collision avoidance systems in mobile robots rely heavily on a computer vision machinery that provides the necessary feedback to the decision making and control units. In recent years, the advances in both machine learning algorithms and computer hardware have led to more wide application of deep neural networks in computer vision.
The first part of this thesis focuses on providing methodologies for designing control strategies that guarantee collision avoidance for multi-agent systems without any information about the relative distances among the agents. The controllers are designed such that guarantee optimality of the designed activation function are provided. Finally, some examples are provided to illustrate the methodology, where some state-of-the-art activation functions are derived analytically they rely solely on the visual information, that is, times-to-collision and line-of-sight angle. These methods are particularly suitable to low-cost and/or small robotic systems that are not equipped with range measurement devices like radars and LIDARs. Furthermore, the collision avoidance is guaranteed using Lyapunov analysis type of technical arguments and illustrated using simulations.
In the second part of this dissertation, a formal methodology for describing and designing activation functions in deep neural networks, is provided. The methodology is based on a precise characterization of the desired activation functions that satisfy particular criteria like circumventing vanishing or exploding gradient during training. The problem of finding desired activation functions is formulated as an infinite dimensional optimization problem, which is later relaxed to solving a partial differential equation. Furthermore, bounds that guarantee optimality of the designed activation function are provided. De Aïni à Marie-Corail : l’image de la femme rebelle dans deux récits autobiographiques de Fadhma et Taos Amrouche
No full textAutant chez Fadhma Aïth Mansour Amrouche que chez sa fille, Taos, les romans amrouchiens mettent en scène une foule de personnages féminins à travers lesquels se décrit la condition de la femme. Aux prises avec les codes d’une société patriarcale, certaines femmes s’y soumettent, d’autres se rebiffent. Leurs conditions se racontent en filigrane des récits principaux.Cet article s’intéresse à Fadhma Amrouche en tant qu’auteure de Histoire de ma vie. Dans un espace rural, une société d’hommes et au milieu des femmes soumises à la hiérarchie sociale, il s’en dégage l’image d’une femme rebelle en quête d’émancipation, en tentant de s’affranchir de la « domination masculine ». Dans ces deux discours autobiographiques, cet article propose d’analyser l’image de la femme en associant une approche thématique et une approche comparative. L’objectif est de détecter les marques de présence de ce processus d’émancipation qui part du roman de la mère vers celui de sa fille. Nous verrons, dans une approche narratologique, comment la description participe à construire l’image de la femme rebelle.As much for Fadhma Aïth Mansour Amrouche as for her daughter, Taos, the Amrouchian novels stage a host of female characters through which the condition of women is portrayed. Struggling with the codes of a patriarchal society, some women submit themselves to these codes, while others rebel. Their conditions are watermarked by the main stories. This article focuses on Fadhma Amrouche as the author of “Histoire de ma vie”. In a rural area, within a society of men and in the midst of women subject to the social hierarchy, the picture of a rebellious woman in search of emancipation emerges, trying to free herself from “male dominance.” The way seems to have opened for Marie-Corail, the main character of Taos Amrouche in Rue des Tambourins. Hence, we propose to analyze the image of women in these two autobiographical discourses. The thematic approach, combining the comparative approach, will allow us to detect the marks of presence of this process of emancipation, which starts from the novel of the mother towards that of her daughter. We will also see, by means of a narratological approach, how the description participates in building the image of the rebellious woman.تبرز روايتي كل من فاطمة آث منصور عمروش وابنتها طاوس، مجموعة من الشخصيات النسائية، التي يتم من خلالها وصف حالة المرأة في صراعها مع قوانين المجتمع الأبوي، إذ أن بعض النساء يستسلمن للأمر الواقع، بينما أخريات تقاوم، ويتم سرد ظروفهن في خلفية القصص الرئيسية. فاطمة عمروش هي مؤلفة كتاب "قصة حياتي"، أين تروي حياتها الخاصة منذ ولادتها بمنطقة القبائل، مع نهاية القرن التاسع عشر، في منطقة ريفية ومجتمع رجالي، ووسط نساء خاضعات للتراتبية الاجتماعية، تظهر صورة المرأة المتمردة التي تبحث عن التحرّر، وتحاول تحرير نفسها من "الهيمنة الذكورية". يبدو أن الطريق قد فُتح أمام "ماري كوراي"، الشخصية الرئيسية في رواية طاووس عمروش "شارع الدفوف"، ولذلك نقترح تحليل صورة المرأة في هذين الخطابين المتعلقين بالسيرة الذاتية، وفق المقاربة الموضوعاتية، التي تشمل المنهج المقارن، والذي يسمح لنا باكتشاف التيمات التي تؤكّد على وجود عملية التحرّر، والتي تبدأ من رواية الأم نحو رواية ابنتها، حيث سنلاحظ، من خلال توسّل المقاربة السردية، كيف يساهم الوصف في بناء صورة المرأة المتمردة

Get PDFDans le sillage de « la littérature migrante », formule québécoise englobant à la fois les œuvres portant sur la thématique de la migration et celles qui sont le fait d’écrivains migrants traitant de cette ou autre problématique, nous essayerons dans la présente étude d’analyser l’œuvre romanesque de Amara LAKHOUS, un auteur algérien installé en Italie depuis 1995. Ce dernier explore dans ses romans la société italienne ainsi que le quotidien, les préjugés et surtout les clichés des italiens et des migrants, vus de l’intérieur par un immigré. Ainsi, la lecture, envisagée dans une perspective sémiotique, que nous proposons vise à souligner les thèmes à travers lesquels l’auteur exprime la transformation de l’Italie en une réalité interculturelle.In the wake of migrant literature, a Quebec formula encompassing both works on the theme of migration and those of migrant writers dealing with this or another theme. Therefore, we will attempt to analyze the novels of Amara LAKHOUS, an Algerian author who has in Italy since 1995. The latter explores in his novels Italian society and daily life, prejudices and especially the clichés of Italians and migrants, seen from the inside by an immigrant.
