No full textThis paper aims to describe the relationship between dakwah and prayer found in the works of calligraphy Abdul Aziz Ahmad. Dakwah meant to invite others to the path of goodness and implement Islamic law. Dakwah is usually done by oral onstage in addition can also be done through painting on canvas, or ink on paper. One of the propaganda material is organized into the assembly to always berdo’a. Because do’ a a weapon for Muslims. The discussion in this paper show five works of Islamic calligraphy as the focus of this study. Fifth of the work is; Family Do’a, Do’a Please Knowledge Benefits, Do’a Newlyweds, Allah never breaks His Promise, and the World Do’a Hereafter. Found that four out of five works, there is a link between the images with calligraphic text display. The fourth work is a work titled Allah never breaks His Promise. In the fifth paper entitled World Do’a. Hereafter, elaborated on the calligraphy works of Islam Abdul Aziz Ahmad; First, the basic pattern making a line of infinity. Second: The addition of objects that will be used as a background; wildlife, fauna, and flora. Third, the addition of Islamic calligraphy of text containing prayers ask God Almighty, salvation of the world and the hereafter. No full textPermasalahan penelitian ini adalah makna yang terkandung dalam karya kaligrafi abd. Aziz ahmad dan konsep dalam karya kaligrafi Abd. Aziz Ahmad. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan makna yang terkandung dalam karya kaligrafi abd. Aziz ahmad dan konsep dalam karya abd. Aziz ahmad. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah karya kaligrafi Islam Kontemporer Abd. Aziz Ahmad dengan jumlah 30 karya pada tahun 2017. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknik datanya dengan melakukan observasi atau melakukan tinjauan langsung kemudian melakukan wawancara tentang apa yang akan diteliti terhadap orang yang akan memberikan informasi dari penelitian berupa wawancara dan dokumentasi, kemudian diolah dan dianalisis sesuai yang didapatkan, kemudian yang telah didapatkan diolah untuk dianalisis lebih lanjut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa karya kaligrafi islam kontemporer yang dibuat pada tahun 2017 dengan jumlah 30 karya bersumber dari ayat Al-Quran, Al-Hadist, Do’a dan Ungkapan Hikmah Islamiyah dengan mengangkat tema Aqidah, Muamalat (hubungan sosial) dan tentang Akhlak yang mulia. Karya kaligrafi islam kontemporer abd. Aziz ahmad bermakna sebagai media dalam berdakwah dengan menyuarakan wahyu islam dan nilai-nilai kebaikan serta menjadi media komunikasi untuk memahami hakekat yang Maha Kuasa dengan membawa para pembaca memaknai sesuai dengan ayat-ayat yang tertulis didalam kaligrafi islam kontemporer Abdul Aziz Ahmad. Konsep karya kaligrafi Islam Kontemporer Abdul Aziz Ahmad merupakan media dakwah islamiyah sebagaimana perintah agama Islam dan juga sesuai Sabda Nabi Muhammad SAW yang berbunyi ‘Sampaikanlah dariku walau satu ayat’ yaitu untuk senantiasa menyampaikan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an sebagai pedoman hidup kepada sesama umat manusia terutama kepada umat muslim

No full textPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk khat Kaligrafi Lontara dan
unsur-unsur visual pada karya Kaligrafi Lontara Abdul Aziz Ahmad. Jenis penelitian
analisis konten dengan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sasaran penelitian
adalah 10 karya Kaligrafi Lontara Abdul Aziz Ahmad yang dibuat pada tahun 2023.
Adapun teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi
dengan teknik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif dan tahap-tahapnya yaitu reduksi data,
display data, kesimpulan dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian terhadap analisis bentuk
khat Kaligrafi Lontara Abdul Aziz Ahmad yang dibuat pada tahun 2023, dari 10
karya yang diciptakan terdapat 7 karya Kaligrafi Lontara yang menggunakan bentuk
khat elips, 2 karya yang menggunakan bentuk khat kaligrafi zigzag dan 1 karya
menggunakan penggabungan antara bentuk khat elips dan zigzag dan analisis unsurunsur visual dalam karya Kaligrafi Lontara Abdul Aziz Ahmad dengan penggunaan
unsur visual titik, garis, bidang, tekstur dan gelap terang yaitu terdapat 10 karya
Kaligrafi Lontara.

Abstract
The problem of this research is the meaning contained in works of calligraphy abd. Aziz Ahmad and concepts in the works of calligraphy Abd. Aziz Ahmad. This study aimed to describe the meaning contained in the works of calligraphy abd. Aziz Ahmad and concepts in the works abd. Aziz Ahmad. This type of research is qualitative. The object of this research is the work of Abd Contemporary Islamic calligraphy. Aziz Ahmad with the number 30 works in 2017. Data collection techniques in this research is observation, interview, and documentation. The technique of data by observation or conducting a review immediately after doing an interview about what will be studied against the person who will provide information on research in the form of interviews and documentation, then processed and analyzed in accordance obtained, then that has been obtained is processed for further analysis. The results of this study indicate that contemporary Islamic calligraphy works created in 2017 with the number of 30 works derived from the verse of the Quran, Al-Hadith, Benediction and expression Lessons Islamiyah with the theme of Aqeedah, Muamalat (social relations) and on the Morals noble. contemporary works of Islamic calligraphy. Abd. Aziz Ahmad meaningful as a medium of preaching by voicing the revelation of Islam and the values of kindness as well as a medium for communication to understand the essence of the Almighty to bring the reader to interpret according to the verses written in the contemporary Islamic calligraphy Abdul Aziz Ahmad.
