Seleksi Pedigree Progeni Kedelai (Glycine max (L). Merrill) F4 Tahan Salin Berdasarkan Karakter Agronomis
Desi Rismayuli, 2016: Seleksi pedigree progeni kedelai (Glycine max L. Merrill) F4 tahan salin berdasarkan karakter agronomis, dibimbing oleh Rosmayati dan Lollie Agustina P. Putri.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memilih progeni kedelai generasi F4 yang dapat tumbuh dan berproduksi baik pada tanah salin berdasarkan karakter agronomis. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di rumah plastik lahan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sumatera Utara pada bulan Februari sampai Juni 2016. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis sidik lintas dengan metode seleksi pedigree generasi F4. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tanaman yang terpilih berdasarkan produksi bobot per biji tanaman 0,11 gram terdapat pada nomor tanaman AXG/PD/P2.16.7; AXG/PD/P3.28.1; AXG/PD/P3.54.6; AXG/PD/P3.69.2; dan AXG/PD/P6.6.3. Komponen yang memberi pengaruh langsung positif terbesar terhadap produksi biji per tanaman adalah jumlah polong dan komponen yang memberikan pengaruh tidak langsung terbesar adalah umur panen.Desi Rismayuli, 2016: Selection of pedigree progeny soybean (Glycine max L. This research aims to select the progeny soybean of F4 generation that can grow and has a higher production on saline soil based on agronomic characters. This research was conducted in the plastic housing at Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sumatera Utara since February until June 2016. The analysis used in this research is a cross section analysis with the applied method is a F4 generation pedigree selection. The results showed that the plants are selected based on the production of seed weight per plant of 0.11 grams on number of plants AXG / PD / P2.16.7; AXG / PD / P3.28.1; AXG / PD / P3.54.6; AXG / PD / P3.69.2; and AXG / PD / P6.6.3. The component of production that has a direct effect on seed production per plant is the number of pods and component that provide indirect effect is harvest age.Skripsi Sarjan
Analisis Keragaman Genetik Tanaman Aren (Arenga Pinnata Merr) di Tapanuli Selatan dengan Menggunakan Marka RAPD (Random Amlpified Polymorphic DNA)
RAPD analysis on genetic diversity of sugar palm ( Arenga pinnata Merr) in South Tapanuli population. Supervised by LOLLIE AGUSTINA P. PUTRI and MOHAMMAD BASYUNI.
The objective of this research was to analysis genetic diversity of natural sugar palm in South Tapanuli using Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA (RAPD).
A total of 24 acessions palm sugar the populations originated from various regions in South Tapanuli, consists of West Angkola, South Angkola, Batangtoru and Sipirok. Results shoves the mean polymorphic of 31.57 %, mean of Polymorphic Information Content (PIC) was 85 %. Furthermore genetic dissimilarity coefficient and dendogram construction using DARwin 5.05 indicated that 24 acessions sugar palm populations was clustered into five groups, Suggested West Angkola acessions spreaded into group II-IV; Sipirok acessions spreaded into group II-V; South Angkola acessions spreaded into group I, III and V; and Batangtoru acessions spreaded into Group II,III and V. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keragaman genetik tanaman aren populasi alam di daerah Tapanuli Selatan berdasarkan marka Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA (RAPD).
Sebanyak 24 aksesi aren di daerah Tapanuli Selatan, meliputi Angkola Barat, Angkola Selatan, Batangtoru dan Sipirok dianalisis keragaman genetiknya dengan menggunakan marka RAPD. Perhitungan koefisien keragaman genetik dan pembentukan dendogram dilakukan dengan bantuan program DARwin5.05. Rata – rata % polimorpik sebesar 31.57 % sedangkan untuk Polymorphic Information Content (PIC) yaitu 85 %. Hasil dendogram menunjukkan bahwa 24 aksesi aren terbagi dalam 5 kelompok. Aksesi asal Parsalakan menyebar pada kelompok 2-4. Aksesi asal Sipirok menyebar pada kelompok 2-5. Aksesi asal Napa menyebar pada kelompok 1, 3 dan 5. Mangrove plants have ability to remove excess of salt and contain secondary
metabolite to adapt to wide salinity levels. The purpose of this study was to
determine the best salinity level for growth of A. marina seedlings and to evaluate
the effect on long-chain polyisoprenoid composition. A. marina seed was used
with 5 treatments,-i.e 0%, 0,5%, 1,5%, 2%, and 3% grown for 3 months. Results
showed that the best growth characterized by height, number of leaves, wet weight
of root, wet weight of shoot, dry weight of root, dry weight of shoot, and ratio of
shoot to root of A. marina seedlings in 2% concentration. The best of diameter
was in 0% salinity level. Polyisoprenoid showed in A. marina seedlings in 3%

The purpose of this research is to identify the types of vegetation and the carbon
stock estimation from mangrove forest and aquaculture in the village of Pulau
Sembilan, Pangkalan Susu subdistrict, Langkat regency. The result showed that
Bakau (Rhizophora apiculata)predominated vegetation type of seedlings, saplings
and treees in the mangrove forest, with the highest importance value index
(116,13%). On the other hand, Bruguiera parviflora had the highest INP (71,37%) of
saplings, while at seedlings and trees levels were dominated by R. apiculata with
INP, 65,30% and 75,48%, respectively. The diversity index of Shannon-Weiner was
1,11-1,49 at mangrove forest, while it was 1,44-1,72 at aquaculture. This results

Uji Statbilitas Varietas Padi (Oryza Sativa L.) pada Lahan Salin dan Sulfat Masam menggunakan Analisis AMMI dan Sidik Lintas Komponen Produksi dengan Produksi
ABSTRACT
Muhammad Syahril Lubis, Stability Test of Rice Varieties (Oryza sativa L.) using AMMI analysis and path analysis of yield component with yield (Supervised by Rosmayati and Lollie Agustina. P. Putri).
The aims of the research are to obtain specific location varieties and varieties are stability in all locations tested and to get the parameters for indirect selection in specific location based on the value of direct and indirect effeft from path anlysis. The reserch was conducted at three location with soil conditions are optimal, acid sulfate and saline. Used 18 varieties for each location, at optimal location 18 varieties can survive, at acid sulfat location 12 varieties can survive and saline location only 5 varieties can survive.
The results showed varieties Hipa 8 Pioner, Bernas, Hipa 7 and Margasari rekommended at location with optimal conditions, varieties Punggur and Lambur recommended at acid sulfate location, Martapura specific for the optimal location and salin while Siak Raya specific for optimal location and acid sulfate soil, and Banyuasin and Dendang can be recommended for all three types of locations that were tested.
Path analysis showed an indirect selection parameters on optimal conditions among others are number of productive tillers and grain number per panicle, number of tillers and panicle length. Parameters for indirect selection on acid sulfate soil that is four characters namely plant height, number of productive tillers, grain number per panicle and % of the grains per panicle. Muhammad Syahril Lubis, Uji Stabilitas Beberapa Varietas Padi (Oryza sativa L.) menggunakan analisis AMMI dan sidik lintas komponen produksi dengan produksi gabah (dibimbing oleh Rosmayati dan Lollie Agustina. P. Putri).
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan varietas spesifik lokasi dan varietas yang stabil disemua lokasi yang diuji dan untuk mendapatkan parameter untuk seleksi secara tidak langsung pada lingkungan spesifik berdasarkan nilai pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung komponen hasil terhadap daya hasil. Pelaksanaan dilakukan di tiga lokasi dengan kondisi tanah yaitu optimal, sulfat masam dan salin. Pada penelitian ini digunakan 18 varietas untuk masing-masing lokasi, pada lahan optimal 18 varietas dapat bertahan hidup, pada lahan sulfat masam 12 varetas dapat bertahan hidup dan pada lahan salin 5 varietas dapat bertahan hidup.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan varietas Hipa 8 Pioner, Bernas Hipa 7dan Margasari sesuai untuk di kembangkan pada kondisi optimal, varietas Punggur, Lambur sesuai untuk di kembangkan pada kondisi pada lokasi sulfat masam, Martapura spesifik untuk lokasi optimal dan salin sedangkan varietas Siak Raya spesifik untuk lokasi optimal dan sulfat masam, varietas Banyuasin dan Dendang dapat direkomendasikan untuk ketiga jenis lokasi yang diuji.
Sidik lintas menunjukkan parameter seleksi tidak langsung pada kondisi optimal yaitu jumlah anakan produktif dan jumlah gabah per malai, jumlah anakan dan panjang malai. Parameter untuk seleksi tidak langsung pada lahan sulfat masam yaitu empat karakter yaitu tinggi tanaman,jumlah anakan produktif, jumlah gabah permalai dan % gabah berisi. Parameter untuk seleksi tidak langsung pada lahan yaitu karakter umur panen dan jumlah anakan produktif .

This study aims to determine the characterization of isoprenoid compounds and
lipid content of the mangrove type of secretion api-api hitam (Avicennia alba) at
the tree level. Sampling is derived from the leaves and roots of tree level of
mangrove at a rate of secretion type A. alba. The results showed the composition
of Non Saponifieble Lipids (NSL) of A. alba among others compounds
campesterol, stigmasterol, β-sitosterol, cholesterol, β-amyrin, germanicol,
betulin, lupeol, α-amyrin, phytol, and squalene. The content of the NSL
triterpenoid fraction higher than phytosterol fraction in the leaves and roots of A.
alba. These results also showed phytol compounds has the highest content in the
leaves of A. alba by 71.4% and the compound β-sitosterol has the highest in the
root A. alba was 27.8%. Total lipids in leaves of A.alba (21mg) showed a higher
value than the total lipids in the roots of A. alba with a value of 11.7 mg. This
research can provide information about the characterization of isoprenoid and

North Sumatra. This study aims to determine the characterization of isoprenoid
compounds and lipid content of the mangrove type of non-blind-blind secretion
(Excoecaria agallocha L.) The sample comes from the leaves and roots of
mangrove trees at a rate of secretion of the type of non-E. Agallocha L. The
results showed the composition NSL of E. agallocha L. ie Squalen, campesterol,
stigmasterol, β-Sitiosterol, Cycloarterol, Taraxerol, β-Amyrin, Germanicol,
Lupenone, Betulin, Lupeol, and α-amyrin. NSL composition ever found on the
roots of mangrove type E. Agallocha L. is 12. Stigmasterol is part of phytosterol
from the study has the highest content of 13.2% at the root can be used as a
natural medicine compounds, but there are other compounds that actually has the
highest content of 74,5 %. This research can provide information about the
diversity of triterpenoid and phytosterol composition in North Sumatra mangrove
