Membaca merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang penting bagi
setiap manusia. Dengan membaca kita dapat mengetahui banyak
informasi. Kondisi minat baca di Indonesia masih tergolong sangat
rendah, fakta yang di ungkapkan UNESCO, Indonesia merupakan
urutan kedua dari bawah tentang literasi dunia. Taman Baca
Masyarakat merupakan salah satu upaya yang dapat meningkatkan
minat baca masyarakat terhadap literasi. Bandar Lampung memiliki
Taman Baca Masyarakat, salah satunya yaitu Rumah Baca Jendela
Lampung, Rumah Baca tersebut memiliki rata-rata pengunjung anak
yang setiap tahunnya mengalami peningkatan. Penulis melakukan
penelitian mengenai Strategi Rumah Baca Jendela Lampung dalam
meningkatkan minat baca anak di Teluk Betung Bandar Lampung.
Dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Strategi yang dilakukan Rumah
Baca jendela lampung dalam meningkatkan minat baca anak dan
Faktor pendukung serta faktor penghambat Rumah Baca Jendela
Lampung dalam meningkatkan minat membaca pada anak.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif.
Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengadakan wawancara,
observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisa data yang digunakan dalam
penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mereduksi data, setelah itu disajikan
dalam bentuk deskripsi, dan diverifikasi dengan penarikan
kesimpulan.
Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Strategi yang
dilakukan Rumah Baca Jendela Lampung terdiri dari melakukan
program kegiatan yang menarik dengan melakukan pembelajaran
mingguan dan melakukan kegiatan kolaborasi, menyediakan
perpustakaan mini dengan buku yang menarik, Pemberian hadiah atau
penghargaan, Kampanye literasi yaitu berkolaborasi dengan
organisasi,
keterbukaan
terhadap
pengunjung, memanfaatkan
teknologi serta menyediakan ruangan dan fasilitas yang nyaman.
Adapula Faktor Pendukung Rumah Baca Jendela lampung dalam
meningkatkan minat membaca pada anak.
meliputi kerjasama antar tim yang baik, kepercayaan dari masyarakat
yang tinggi, volunteer sudah terlatih dengan tugasnya, hubungan antar
komunitas atau organisasi yang baik, dan fasilitas yang cukup

memadai. Faktor Penghambat Rumah Baca Jendela lampung dalam
meningkatkan minat membaca pada anak yaitu banyaknya adik-adik
yang datang di kegiatan mingguan sedangkan para volunteer yang
datang tidak sampai setengahnya dari jumlah adik-adik, kendala
dalam pemanfaatan teknologi, koleksi buku yang belum di-upgrade,
dan pencatatan administrasi buku yang masih terbilang manual.

ABSTRACT
Reading is one of the important activities for every human
being. By reading we can find out a lot of information. The condition
of reading interest in Indonesia is still very low, the fact revealed by
UNESCO, Indonesia is second from the bottom regarding world
literacy. Community Reading Parks are one of the efforts that can
increase public interest in reading literacy. Bandar Lampung has a
Community Reading Park, one of which is the Lampung Window
Reading House, the Reading House has an average of child visitors
that increases every year. The author conducted a study on the
Strategy of the Lampung Window Reading House in increasing
children's reading interest in Teluk Betung Bandar Lampung. With the
aim of describing the Strategy carried out by the Lampung Window
Reading House in increasing children's reading interest and the
supporting factors and inhibiting factors of the Lampung Window
Reading House in increasing children's reading interest.
This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data
collection was carried out by conducting interviews, observations, and
documentation. Data analysis used in this study was carried out by
reducing the data, after which it was presented in the form of a
description, and verified by drawing conclusions.
The results of this study indicate that: The strategies carried
out by the Jendela Lampung Reading House consist of carrying out
interesting activity programs by conducting weekly learning and
conducting collaborative activities, providing a mini library with
interesting books, giving gifts or awards, literacy campaigns, namely
collaborating with organizations, openness to visitors, utilizing
technology and providing comfortable rooms and facilities. There are
also Supporting Factors for the Jendela Lampung Reading House in
increasing children's interest in reading. including good teamwork,
high public trust, volunteers who have been trained with their duties,
good relationships between communities or organizations, and
adequate facilities. Inhibiting Factors for the Jendela Lampung
Reading House in increasing children's interest in reading are the
large number of children who come to weekly activities while the
volunteers who come are less than half of the number of children,

obstacles in utilizing technology, book collections that have not been
upgraded, and book administration records that are still relatively
manual.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
