Haji Agus Salim, as an intellectual of Islam, has given a new color for the  paradigm of Islamic thought and tried to break down the fundamentalists thoughts. The Islamic moderate thoughts can be tracked from the books that he published, also thescientific orations that he delivered in the scientific forums, including the college materials that he delivered at Cornell University of America. There are four important things that he tries to deliver in his moderate da’wah i.e. introduce Islam as a peace religion, affection and give salvation to all the human beings, introduce Muhammad SAW as a model figure, introduce AlQur’an and As-Sunnah which can be a way of life, and muamalah life by combining the values of Islam and the local culture

    ABSTRACT This research, inspired by the publication of the Minister of Education and Culture number 20 of 2018 concerning strengthening character education in formal education units, states that strengthening character education is an educational movement that is the responsibility of each educational unit to strengthen the character or character of students through a balance between Thoughts and sports that involve a partnership of several components, namely between the family education unit and the community, are part of the National Mental Revolution Movement (GNRM). One of the character values ​​that according to the researcher has an important role in shaping the character of students in the Indonesian context is religious values. Indonesia as a country based on God Almighty (read: holding fast to religious values) makes religious values ​​a guide in the life of its people. if it is specified in the implementation of education, then one of the components that play a role in the formation of this character is Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This study aims to determine the form of integration of character education values ​​in PAI learning at boarding school-based schools in Indonesia.     The Implementation of Character Education in Kalimantan, Indonesia: Multi Site Studies

    This research was inspired by some of the realities that the author found related to the implementation of character education, especially in several regencies/cities in East Kalimantan. Apart from the author’s concern toward the case of the moral decadence of the nation's children, this should be a demand and obligation for every educator to form the character of his students. Therefore, various models and innovations began to be developed by educational units led by creative teachers starting to package character-based learning designs and innovations. This research focuses on character models developed by the school. This research is a field work research that focuses on multi-site studies. Sources of data in this study include: teachers and students in several schools are the focus of research. The research locus is spread in several regions, namely: Tarakan, Bulungan, East Kutai and Bontang. The data collection techniques that the author uses in this study include: observations, interviews and documentations. Furthermore, the findings of the research data were processed using Milles and Hubberman's interactive analysis using the data reduction flow , data display and data conclusions . Based on the findings of the research, it can be concluded that the character values developed include: religious values, creative, independent and responsible, the spirit of nationality and love for the motherland, tolerance, communication and love the environment

    Implementasi Kebijakan Pendidikan Era Pandemi pada Madrasah di Kalimantan Timur

    Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif (field work research) yang mengambil lokus penelitian pada madrasah di tiga wilayah Kalimantan Timur, yakni. Paser, Balikpapan, dan Kutai Kartanegara. Penelitian ini menggali implementasikan kebijakan pendidikan era pandemic berdasarkan pada KEPMENDIKBUD Nomor 719/P/2020 tentan Pedoman Pelaksanaan Kurikulum pada Satuan Pendidikan dalam Kondisi Khusus dan SK Dirjen Pendidikan Islam Nomor B-937/DJ.I/Dt.I.I/PP.00/05/2020, tentang Kurikulum Darurat pada Madrasah. Kurikulum darurat merupakan bentuk kurikulum yang didesain untuk masa darurat yang disepakati oleh pemerintah pusat dan daerah, selanjutnya dalam pelaksanaannya pihak satuan pendidikan diberikan keleluasaan dalam mengembangkannya dengan mempertimbangkan kondisi siswa di wilayah masing-masing. Berdasarkan temuan lapangan penulis, maka dapat ditarik simpulan, bahwa implementasi kebijakan pendidikan era pandemic di Kalimantan Timur mencakup tiga hal, yakni pertama, pemahaman madrasah dan guru tentang kurikulum pada masa darurat yang didalamnya meliputi, pemahaman konsep, modifikasi kurikulum, layanan pendidikan, dan fleksibilitas pengembangan kompetensi siswa. Kedua, langkah-langkah pembelajaran pada masa darurat, meliputi perencanaan pembelajaran dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran.     This research is present to provide an alternative solution for photographing the curriculum development model at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Islam Cendikia (MAN-IC) in Indonesia. The aims of this research are to photograph the form of the curriculum developed by MAN-IC, examine the MAN-IC curriculum with its various development components, explore and examine the efforts made by MAN-IC in countering radicalism that is rife on social media, and photograph examples of cases that have occurred related to radicalism among students and handling techniques. Data collection techniques in this research include observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the author's findings, a conclusion can be drawn, the study of the anti-radicalism curriculum at MAN IC in Indonesia includes four components, namely the objective component, the material/content component, the method and strategy component and the evaluation component. The goal components in it are developed by the concepts of independence, achievement and religion. Content/material components, apart from MAN IC implementing a boarding school system, efforts to overcome radicalism are also carried out in learning, namely by integrating science with character education values in each learning session. The method and strategy component, namely MAN IC, has made a series of efforts to prevent negative behavior that might be carried out by its students, including creating a series of rules/regulations, designing an IT system that can protect students from using sites that are considered useless, foster parent methods. Which makes teachers as foster parents for students, coaching guidance and counseling teachers for student problems or following up on cases that occur either persuasively or classically. The most effective assessment component in preventing radicalism is continuous and intensive observation regarding students' attitudes (affective)

    Penelitian ini akan menggali data berupa bentuk-bentuk implementasi dari Undang-Undang Nomor 33 Tahun 2014 tentang Jaminan Produk Halal di Kalimantan Timur yang meliputi 3 wilayah, yakni Samarinda, Balikpapan dan Bontang. Guna mmfokuskan arah penelitian, maka penulis akan menjelaskan clue atau beberapa kata kunci pada judul penelitian. Implementasi merupakan instilah ilmu manajemen yang secara sederhana dapat diartikan pelaksanaan dari sebuah program yang telah direncanakan sebelumnya, dalam hal ini secara konseptual yang ingin dipotret pelaksanaan program atau kebijakannya adalah Undang-Undang Nomor 33 Tahun 2014 tentang Jaminan Produk Halal  dengan mengambil lokus di 3 Kabupaten/Kota Kalimantan Timur.Undang-Undang Nomor 33 Tahun 2014 tentang Jaminan Produk Halal merupakan peraturan pemerintah yang mengatur tentang berbagai produk.     Contextual teaching learning (CTL) is an educational process that aims to help students see meaning in academic material they are learning by connecting academic subjects with the context of their daily, which is related to personal circumstances, social, and cultural development. In Contextual teaching and learning (CTL) takes an approach that is more empowering students with the expectations of students able to construct knowledge in their minds, rather than memorizing facts. Besides, students learn through experience rather than memorize, given knowledge of the facts and not a concept readily accepted but something that must be constructed by the students. To achieve this goal include the eight components of the system, the following: making meaningful connections, doing meaningful work, conduct self-regulated learning, collaborate, think critically and creatively, helping individuals to grow and develop, achieving high standards , and using authentic assessment. In learning PAI, CTL developed by focusing on moral or affective touch protege acquired through personal experience that photographing their daily environment. One of the obstacles is that sales problems are sometimes still one of the obstacles in achieving business goals, because the sales system is still done manually. To solve this problem, the author develops an electronic commerce using wordpress CMS. transactions are still carried out manually, the management of data dams is not yet structured and the lack of means of purchasing and paying online or through account transfers. Then built an Online Sales Information System at the Iwan Motor Shop (Tim2Srote) which will use the PHP programming language. With this system, it is hoped that it can help Iwan Motor Shop in marketing the sale of two-wheeled vehicles (motorcycles) online and quickly, so WordPress CMS is used. By applying the Rapid Application Development method to speed up preparation and shorter estimated time. And related to the problem of writing the Journal according to information obtained from Iwan Motor (Tim2store) Shop

    SMA Islam Terpadu Granada Samarinda masih terbilang cukup baru sebagai lembaga pendidikan tingkat menengah di Samarinda namun dapat mencapai akreditasi sangat baik. Sekolah ini dengan cepat dan tanggap segera mempersiapkan diri dan beradaptasi dengan berbagai komponen dalam kurikulum yang digunakannya. Maka dari itu kurikulum perlu disusun secara sistematis dan isinya harus sesuai dengan standar yang ada. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana isi kurikulum SMA Islam Terpadu Granada Samarinda dan posisi kurikulum tersebut dalam konteks pencapaian tujuan pendidikan nasional.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode analisis konten. Sumber data berasal dari dokumen kurikulum SMA Islam Terpadu Granada Samarinda yang didukung oleh beberapa hasil wawancara dari Kepala Sekolah dan Waka Kurikulum.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa SMA Islam Terpadu Granada Samarinda memadukan antara kurikulum nasional dan internasional. Penyusunan dokumen sesuai dengan pedoman penyusunan kurikulum BSNP dan Kurikulum di SMA Islam terpadu Granada Samarinda sangat khas dengan karakteristik nilai keislaman. Jadi, kurikulum nasional dan kurikulum Islam Terpadu saling bersinergi dalam mewujudkan tujuan pendidikan nasional yang akan menghasilkan peserta didik yang berkarakter. Hal ini dilakukan dengan cara memasukkan nilai-nilai keislaman dalam setiap mata pelajaran yang diberikan. Kedua kegiatanpengembangan melalui program-program sekolah dan pengembangan muatan lokal. Di dalam dokumen kurikulum tersebut terlihat bahwa pelaksanaan pendidikan di SMA Islam Terpadu Granada mengikuti peraturan dari dinas pendidikan dan juga menyisipkan nilai keislaman dalam setiap proses pendidikan tersebut

In the context of education, the social participation is found in the form the people participation to the process of education. That participation and involvement can be in terms of management development aspect, curriculum, to the learning process. This paper tries to describe the models of social participation at SMP Plus Melati since this is one of the best schools in Samarinda. The models of social participation were found, such as: institutional, educative, and cultural participation. There are also some cooperation, such as: institutional mutual understanding, managerial development, finance, curriculum, and cooperation with some Moslem leaders in Samarinda
