Critical Discourse Analysis of Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie Part II”
Get PDFThis study is to analyze songs from Eminem which is related to his life story. In examining the songs, the researchers used the three inter-related processes of analysis tied to three inter-related dimensions of discourse proposed by Faiclough’s model of CDA. This study applied qualitative design with the content analysis approach. The analysis of this research focused on the words used such as African American Vernacular English variety, Informal language and American slang in the lyrics of the song Love The Way You Lie Part II and explain them. The result findings showed that there was a transcultural process or cross cultural in the song lyrics. There was a hiphop culture which was moved, changed and reused to create a new identity of the Eminem. There were 25 words and clauses of AAVE, 3 words of Informal language and 1 word of American slang language in the lyrics of the song of Love The Way You Lie

No full textABSTRACTThe existence of Religious Courts under Act No. 7 of 1989, as amended by Act No. 3 of 2006 one of the courts in Indonesia, in addition to the District Court, the Military Court and the Administrative Court as stipulated in Law No. 14 of 1970 on the Main Principles of Judicial Power, which has been revised in Law No. 35 of 1999 and subsequently converted into Law No. 48 of 2009 on Judicial Power.One form of the examination process in the civil procedural law of evidence used as a tool to convince the judge the truth of the proposition or the reasons set forth in the dispute. Some problems can be formulated in this research is how the inspection procedure and whether the recognition of a divorce case can be accepted as proof that stand alone in a divorce case in the Religious.Preparation of this paper by using the library (library research) literature that the basic material in the form of expert opinions and legal provisions of law that there is a link with the issues mentioned above as well as conduct research with interviews and observations in the Religious Court Samarinda.The results of the study authors get is a divorce case examination procedure in Samarinda Religious Courts in accordance with applicable law. Recognition in the case of divorce cases in the Religious Court can not be used as evidence but must be corroborated by other evidence.The conclusion of this study is the author of the examination procedure in Samarinda Religion divorce cases in accordance with applicable law and recognition can not be used as evidence in the trial. DERIVATIONS IN HEADLINE ARTICLES OF THE JAKARTA POST NEWSPAPER
No full textThis study aimed to see types of derivation, processes undergone, and structures of derived words. This study used content analysis selecting four headline articles from The Jakarta Post newspaper. The findings showed that three types of derivations: derivational prefix, derivational suffix, and multiple derivations were obtained. Each of derivation indicated 14 types of structures of derived words relating to derivation; 3 relating to derivational prefix, 3 types of derivational suffix, and 8 types to multiple derivations. Relating to processes of derivations, there were class of maintaining derivation and class of changing derivation. Derivational prefix brought to change in meaning (class maintaining derivation) and derivational suffix caused the change both in meaning and category (class changing derivation). </jats:p

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan mengunakan desain penelitian Two-GroupPretest-Posttest Design. Populasi dan Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah Seluruh Penjaga gawang SSO RealMadrid Foundation UNY Yogyakarta yang berjumlah 12 penjaga gawang.Untuk menganalisis datamenggunakan Uji-t. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan latihan memantulkan bolasepak ke tembok terhadap kecepatan reaksi penjaga gawang SSO Real Madrid UNY FoundationYogyakarta. Latihan memantulkan bola sepak ke tembok lebih baik memberikan kontribusi terhadappeningkatan kecepatan reaksi penjaga gawang sebesar 15,34%. Sedangkan pengaruh latihan menggunakanbola tenis terhadap kecepatan reaksi penjaga gawang SSO Real Madrid Foundation UNY Yogyakartaterdapat pengaruh yang signifikan. The result of this research shows that there is a significant influence of rebounding soccer ballto the wall toward the acceleration of the goalkeeper’s reaction of SSO Real Madrid FoundationUNY Yogyakarta. Pondok Pesantren Istiqomah Al-Amin Cintamulya Lampung Selatan
adalah sebuah lembaga pendidikan berbasis keagamaan. Pondok
pesantren ini merupakan pondok pesantren salafi dan modern yang
mengabungkan antara kegiatan pendidik berbasis salafi dengan
mempelajari kitab-kitab kuning dengan pendidikan formal yang
mempelajari ilmu umum. Sebuah lembaga tidak telepas dari kegiatan
manajemen agar tujuan tercapai dengan efektif dan efisien.
Manajemen adalah sebuah hal penting untuk pengembangan pondok
pesantren, salah satu kegiatan yang memerlukan manajemen adalah
pemberdayaan kewirausahaan budidaya ikan lele dengan sistem
bioflock yang dilakukan oleh Pondok Pesantren Istiqomah Al-Amin.
Pokok permasalahanpada peneliti ini adalah untuk mengetahui
bagaimana analisis fungsi manajemen dalam pemberdayaan
kewirausahaan budidaya ikan lele dengan sistem bioflock pada
Pondok Pesantren Istiqomah Al-Amin Cintamulya Lampung Selatan.
Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research)
yang meneliti fungsi manajemen pada pemberdayaan kewirausahaan
budidaya ikan lele dengan sistem bioflock. Pada penelitian ini penulis
menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan teknik
wawancara, observasi, serta dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data.
Setelah melaksanaan penelitian mendapatkan hasil yakni fungsi
manajemen sangat berpengaruh terhadap pengembangan santri di
Pondok Pesantren Istiqomah Al-Amin dalam berwirausaha yakni:
fungsi manajemen perencanaan (planning) yaitu menyusun rencana
jangka panjang dan jangka pendek serta menyusun tujuan yang
diharapkan agar terciptanya santripreuner. Fungsi manajemen
pengorganisasian (organizing) yaitu menyusun struktur kepengurusan
dan pembagian tugas serta tanggung jawab masing-masing pengurus.
Fungsi pelaksanaan (acuanting) yaitu melakukan pengembangan
santri dengan cara memberikan teori mengenai kewirausahaan,
memberikan hak pilih santri untuk memilih bidang kewirausahaan
yang diminati, kemudian diberikan pengajaran atau pelatihan untuk
mengelola dan mengurus budidaya ikan lele.

AN ANALYSIS ON THE PLOT OF JANE AUSTENS NOVEL “PRIDE AND PREJUDICE”
Get PDFThis study reports an analysis of the plot used in the novel written by Jane Austens, Pride and Prejudice. Using qualitative approach that focused on content analysis, this study presents three kinds of findings. Respectively, the findings are: (1) conflict on which the plot turns, (2) chief episodes or incidents that make up the plot, and (3) plot in terms of its exposition, complication, crisis/climax, falling action and denouement. Conflicts in the novel are nicely to read and the development of the conflicts is smooth. Resolution is given in a direct way. Chief episodes that built up the conflict consist of 15 events from which the ending of the conflicts are easily to guess but nicely to follow. Finally, plots that make up the story concise, smooth, and interesting are supported using simple dialogues, conversations, and plausible resolution

syariah dalam melakukan transaksi di keseharian mereka dan lebih banyak
menggunakan transaksi konvensional. Hal itu menunjukan bahwa keseluruhan
dari tingkat keuangan lembaga syariah bisa dikatakan sangatlah rendah
dibandingkan dengan lembaga keuangan non-syariah. Jadi, Penelitian ini
mempunyai tujuan agar memahami Religiusitas apakah memiliki pengaruh
terhadap Minat Menabung pada Bank Syariah Indonesia Kantor Cabang Tanjung.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pendekatan kuantitatif.
Penelitian ini menggunakan populasi masyarakat Kabupaten Tabalong dengan
jumlah 260.564 jiwa. Teknik sampel yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan cara
random sampling dengan rumus slovin yang mendapatkan sampel berjumlah 100
orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan penyebaran angket pernyataan
menggunakan skala likert dan analisis data dengan metode regresi linier sederhana
dengan dukungan dari IBM SPSS.
Dari uji signifikan secara parsial atau uji t pada penelitian ini
membuktikan bahwa, variabel Religiusitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan
secara parsial terhadap Minat Menabung pada Bank Syariah Indonesia Kantor
Cabang Tanjung

STUDENTS NARRATIVE ESSAY CONSTRUCTION ABILITY
Get PDFThe researcher conducted the research to the Third Grade Students of SMK Negeri 9 Samarinda, which concerns to the Narrative Essay Construction Ability Made by the Twelve Grade Students of Fowl class. It is based on the researcher’s experience when he was a teacher in SMK Negeri 9 Samarinda. During the researcher taught, he found that English achievement of fowl class is cukup, but they had problems in using grammar, especially present perfect tense.
In this study the researcher took 17 students as sample who were unique majoring for SMK in Samarinda and it is the only one in Samarinda. It is unique because breeding is usually a major in the university but now Samarinda has a vocational high school for learning animal cyclus.
This research revealed that the ability of narrative essay construction of the students of the fowl department is fair. It is shown by the mean score that they get, that is, 66.11. second, almost of the students of fowl department of SMK Negeri 9 Samarinda difficult to write a narrative essay in egnlish well.
