Percaya diri menjadi salah satu aspek kepribadian yang sangat
penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Orang yang percaya diri yakin atas
kemampuan mereka sendiri serta memiliki pengharapan yang realistis,
bahkan ketika harapan mereka tidak terwujud, mereka tetap berpikir
positif dan dapat menerimanya. Rasa percaya diri merupakan bagian
dari kepribadian seseorang yang berperan penting dalam mewujudkan
potensinya. Tanpa rasa percaya diri, orang menghadapi banyak
masalah. Kepercayaan membuat lebih mudah bergaul dengan
seseorang. Mereka tidak malu atau canggung saat berinteraksi dengan
orang yang lebih tua, lebih bijaksana, atau lebih kaya. Mereka berani
menunjukkan diri apa adanya, tanpa menonjolkan kelebihannya atau
menyembunyikan kelemahannya. Menurut pra penelitian yang penulis
lakukan didapatkan informasi bahwa terdapat beberapa siswa yang
kurang memiliki rasa percaya diri. Faktor yang menyebabkan siswa
tidak percaya diri salah satunya ialah dari faktor keluarga yaitu
kurangnya dukungan orang tua, terlalu banyak menerima kritik, pola
asuh orang tua yang terlalu protektif, kecenderungan dibandingkan
dengan anak lain, dan harapan yang tidak masuk akal dari orang tua.
Layanan bimbingan konseling dapat menumbuhkan dan meningkatkan
kepercayaan diri dalam menyampaikan pendapatnya. Berdasarkan
latar belakang diatas maka penulis mengadakan penelitian yang
berjudul “Peran Guru Bimbingan Konseling Dalam Meningkatkan
Rasa Percaya Diri Siswa MTs Al-Khariyah Talang Padang \ud
Tanggamus”. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji
peran Guru Bimbingan Konseling dalam meningkatkan rasa percaya
diri siswa MTs Al-Khariyah Talang Padang Tanggamus.
Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian lapangan (field research).
Data primer didapatkan langsung dari wawancara 4 orang siswa kelas
VIII C, 1 orang Guru Bimbingan Konseling MTs Al-Khariyah Talang
Padang Tanggamus. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara
wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data dengan
reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil
penelitian yang penulis lakukan, layanan konseling dilakukan selama 7 kali pertemuan dengan durasi waktu selama 60 menit setiap
pertemuan. Setelah menjalani layanan konseling yang dilakukan oleh
Guru Bimbingan Konseling MTs Al-Khariyah Talang Padang
Tanggamus, terdapat perubahan pada siswa mencakup keyakinan pada
kemampuan sendiri, bertindak mandiri dalam mengambil keputusan,
memliki konsep diri yang positif, berani mengungkapkan pendapat.
Peran Guru Bimbingan Konseling dalam menangani rasa percaya diri
siswa MTs Al-Khariyah Talang Padang Tanggamus antara lain
sebagai Motivator, Membimbing dan mengarahkan, menjadi Inisiator,
memberikan ruang dan kenyamanan, menjadi Mediator, sebagai
Evaluator, sebagai Informan, Sebagai Penyelenggara kegiatan
Pendidikan.

Siswa. ABSTRACT
Self-confidence is a very important aspect of personality in
human life. Confident people believe in their own abilities and have
realistic expectations, even when their hopes do not come true, they
still think positively and can accept it. Self-confidence is a part of a
person's personality that plays an important role in realizing his
potential. Without self-confidence, people face many problems. Trust
makes it easier to get along with someone. They are not shy or
awkward when interacting with people who are older, wiser, or
richer. They dare to show themselves as they are, without highlighting
their strengths or hiding their weaknesses. According to pre-research
conducted by the author, information was obtained that there were
several students who lacked self-confidence. One of the factors that
cause students to lack self-confidence is family factors, namely lack of
parental support, receiving too much criticism, overly protective
parenting, a tendency to be compared with other children, and
unreasonable expectations from parents. Counseling guidance
services can grow and increase self-confidence in expressing one's
opinions. Based on the above background, the author conducted
research entitled "The Role of Guidance and Counseling Teachers in
Increasing the Self-Confidence of Students at MTs Al-Khariyah
Talang Padang Tanggamus". The aim of this research is to examine
the role of Guidance Counseling Teachers in increasing the self�confidence of MTs Al-Khariyah Talang Padang Tanggamus students.
This research includes field research. Primary data was
obtained directly from interviews with 4 students of class VIII C, 1
guidance counselor teacher at MTs Al-Khariyah Talang Padang
Tanggamus. Data collection techniques include interviews,
observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data
reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.
The research results show that based on the results of
research conducted by the author, counseling services were carried
out over 7 meetings with a duration of 60 minutes per meeting. After
undergoing counseling services carried out by the MTs Al-Khariyah
Talang Padang Tanggamus Counseling Guidance Teacher, there were changes in the students including confidence in their own abilities,
acting independently in making decisions, having a positive self�concept, daring to express opinions. The role of the Guidance and
Counseling Teacher in handling the self-confidence of MTs Al�Khariyah Talang Padang Tanggamus students includes being a
Motivator, Guiding and directing, being an Initiator, providing space
and comfort, being a Mediator, being an Evaluator, being an
Informant, and being an Organizer of Educational activities.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
