No full textThe Automated Landslide Detection Index (ALDI) uses pixel-wise NDVI differencing of Landsat time series within Google Earth Engine accounting for seasonality. Its aim is to recover the locations of landslides triggered by a known event (e.g. earthquake) using freely available archival imagery. Testing for a set of recent large earthquakes suggests that ALDI can identify landslide affected pixels as skillfully as published manually mapped inventories in the majority of cases. This version of ALDI implements the method and uses the parameters described by: Milledge, D.G., Bellugi, D.G., Watt, J. and Densmore, A.L., 2022. Our approach included research, interviews with specialized landscapers and academic experts, and data analysis. These methods provided insights into using native plants, supporting pollinator habitats, and reducing chemical inputs. supermercados Aldi. La empresa alemana está escindida en Aldi Süd y Aldi Nord y
ambas poseen filiales en multitud de países, pero este estudio se centra en Aldi Nord en
el territorio de España, constituida como S.A. Para ello, tras desarrollar su historia y
explicar su misión, visión y valores, se han realizado unos análisis de diversas áreas
mediante las correspondientes herramientas. En primer lugar, el análisis del entorno,
que abarca el general y el competitivo empleando el perfil estratégico y el modelo de las
cinco fuerzas Porter. A continuación, el análisis interno con el uso de la cadena de valor.
Se resumen todas las conclusiones anteriores en el DAFO, del cual se puede destacar
que en un entorno con economía desafiante y otros factores, Aldi logra proporcionar
productos de calidad y precios bajos y expandirse en el mercado. Sin embargo, sufre del
problema de números rojos en sus cuentas, entre otros, y necesita aprovechar más las
oportunidades del mercado como la venta online. En el análisis de la estrategia a nivel
corporativo se examinan las direcciones y métodos de desarrollo llevadas a cabo por
Aldi. En el primer caso, destacan las estrategias de expansión y en el segundo, el
desarrollo interno. Por último, la estrategia de internalización comprende la estrategia
para competir internacionalmente, siendo la global y, la estrategia de entrada en
mercados exteriores, la inversión directa

In 2012, critisim reached a new peak in Germany, triggered by a book of a former ALDI manager. His detailed description of the working conditions in ALDI South sparked a widespread interest in the media. Drawing on the book and other published sources, this case incident details some of the working conditions and management practices at ALDI. The text sheds particular light on practices and techniques to regulate ALDI employees, both in the shops and middle management. On the one hand, it paints a picture of ALDI’s determined strive towards keeping costs low and employee performance high, hence, being able to offer low-priced and quality products to its customers. On the other hand, however, the various examples from this case illuminate how ALDI regulates employee behaviour. Some may argue that these arrangements form a rather tight control regime

Performance Degradation of a Shell-and-Tube Heat Exchanger Due to Tar Deposition
No full textBiomass represents a programmable renewable energy source that is useful for reducing issues related to the transfer from fossil fuels to the renewable energy era. The exploitation of biomass is strongly related to the development of power technologies that are designed to improve efficiency; however, at the same time, they have to be designed to improve the life cycle of the entire installation—especially in relation to maintenance operations. In this paper, a numerical analysis is proposed to assess the performance of a heat exchanger used for separating condensing tar from syngas generated by the gasification of lignocellulosic wood chips and pellets. The analysis included clean, fouled, and clogged conditions. Flow maldistribution characterized the inlet section of shell-and-tube configurations and was responsible for clogging phenomena. Starting from field detection, analyses of fouled and clogged conditions showed a reduction in the effectiveness of the heat exchanger, causing dangerous conditions for the internal combustion engine used to exploit the syngas flow

Hal ini terjadi dalam Kasus Putusan Mahkamah Agung No. 421 K/Pid.Sus/2011 dimana korban yang sudah menderita tidak mendapatkan hak restitusi dari pelaku sehingga timbul permasalahan apakah pelaku tindak pidana perdagangan orang terbukti melakukan tindak pidana? dan mengapa terhadap korban tidak diberikan restitusi seperti yang telah ditentukan dalam undang-undang? Metode yang digunakan metode hukum normatif dengan didukung data wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapat bahwa pelaku terbukti melanggar Pasal 2 Ayat (1) Undang-Undang No. 21 Tahun 2007 tentang Pemberantasan Tindak Pidana Perdagangan dengan ancaman hukuman 7 (tujuh) tahun penjara dan denda sebesar Rp. 150.000.000,- (seratus lima puluh juta rupiah). Korban tidak mendapatkan restitusi seperti yang telah ditentukan dalam undang-undang dikarenakan Jaksa Penuntut Umum tidak menuntut terdakwa dengan Pasal 48 tentang restutusi sehingga pemberian restitusi kepada korban perdagangan orang yang dipekerjakan sebagai pekerja seks komersial dalam kasus Putusan Mahkamah Agung No. 421 K/Pid.Sus/2011 tidak terlaksana. Dalam penjatuhan putusan, Majelis Hakim diharapkan mampu membuat terobosan, agar memenuhi rasa keadilan si korban.
