Turbocharger is a component to increase the amount of pressure air entering
the cylinder by utilizing exhaust energy. The quality of the exhaust gas greatly
affects the turbocharger turbine spin. Therefore, the combustion inside the
cylinder must be good, so the quality of the flue gas is good and the rinse air
produced by the turbocharger for combustion has the normal pressure required by
the Main Engine.
Research method that writer use in preparation of this thesis is descriptive
qualitaf research method. In this case the author uses the SWOT method as a data
analysis technique to analyze what factors cause turbocharger surging and what
efforts are made to overcome these factors by identifying strengths , weaknesses,
opportunities, and threats from the environment systematically to formulate the
strategy to be taken
Based on the results of research that has been done by the author, the
cause of turbocharger surging is caused by two factors, namely the escape of
compression at the time of combustion due to oversize cylinder liner and supply
of spare parts on the hobo Stable engine. To overcome these factors can be done
by replacing the cylinder liner already oversized, lowering the engine rotation to
make the exhaust gas more stable, reducing the cylinder lubricant consumption to
reduce the combustion slurry in the air rinse chamber, operate the auxiliary
blower to be manual to keep the rinse pressure in normal pressure during engine
operation, recondition on Machine spare parts Mains such as crown pistons and
piston rings by means of cleaning so that they can be used again temporarily
waiting for spare parts to arrive on board, and purchase spare parts on ships for
light and affordable parts for maintenance and repair of spare parts Mains
Machine.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed.
