The features of the organization of obituaries created by V. S. Solovyov from 1883 to 1900 is considered. The specific traits of the author’s strategy in writing mourning texts are revealed. The relevance of the article is due to the importance of V. S. Solovyov for Russian culture, as well as the prospects for research that will reveal the genre and compositional specifics of obituaries as a special fact of the culture of creating post-humous texts in Russia in the second half of the 19th — early 20th centuries. The scientific novelty of this article lies in the fact that for the first time in Solovyov studies, the obituaries of the famous Russian philosopher are considered in aggregate, the author’s attitude to death and important aspects of his understanding of the place of man in the world are revealed. The relationship of these works with the rest of V. S. Solovyov and genre features of these obituaries is determined. According to Solovyov, the main qualities of a truly spiritual person are revealed: this is a person who has exceptional qualities of the heart, is not always understood by society, but who, through his deeds, embodies the main human destiny — serving Christian truth. He concludes that the obituaries of V. S. Solovyov reflect his system of views and semantically resonate with other works of the author

Vladimir Solovyov: The Philosophy of the Last Classic. Lecture

The article was prepared on the basis of an open lecture given on April 8, 2022 at the Center Church and International Relations MGIMO of the acting Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy of Moscow State University A. P. Kozyrev. The article raises the question of the significance of the legacy of Vladimir Sergeyevich Solovyov (1853–1900) in Russian philosophy. It is argued that Vladimir Solovyov was a man of the universal, ecumenical type. The author characterizes Solovyov’s philosophy as the completion of European philosophical systematics, noting the syncretic nature of his teaching and the influence of Platonism, Gnosticism, Hermeticism, and early Christianity on the thoughts of the Origen of the 19th century, as Solovyov’s contemporaries called him. He also cites the characteristics of Solovyov’s thought given by individual contemporaries and representatives of subsequent Russian philosophy — S. N. Bulgakov, G. V. Florovsky, F. A. Stepun, A. Kozhev and others. In answers to questions at the end of the lecture, a number of essential provisions on works and personality of V. S. Solovyov are clarified. According to the thinker, the fate of Russia depends on the choice of Christianity or opposing oneself to the entire Christian world. For him, there is a distinction between religious Westernism and non-religious Westernism. A.P. Kozyrev subsumes P. Ya. Chaadaev to the type of religious Westerner, since P. Ya. Chaadaev based his ideas of building a Christian kingdom — the city of God on earth, as Augustine wrote on medieval Christianity. Solovyov per se considered himself somewhere in between. A genius cannot be limited to one political ideology, narrow political worldview, a genius does not think in black and white the categories. It makes Solovyov’s idea that there are not only different Wests, but different Easts — China, Japan, and above all the Middle East, Jerusalem — as well. The nature of these and similar constructions allows us to see in Solovyov not only a taxonomist, but a religious philosopher, who argues that a metaphysical lever is necessary to fight evil. It is not for nothing that Solovyov begins Three Conversations with a reflection on whether evil is only a lack of good, a kind of ghost that can easily be eliminated, or whether evil is a real force with its own substance and its essence, and can be defeated not by abstract good, but by the God-man. Therefore, Three Conversations, Including a Short Story of the Anti-Christ is not just a prophecy about the finale of world history, where the Antichrist appears under the guise of a socialist, humanist and philanthropist, he is a politician, president of the United States of Europe, ready to open sacristies to the Orthodox and return the papacy to Catholics, Protestants create an institute for the study of the Bible, you just have to worship him as God. This idea of fake good is destructive for life itself. All that glitters is not gold — this is the maxim of Three Conversations. Good is determined not by the amount of goods that a person produces, but by the name for which they are done, what is put at the forefront. Solovyov, in a certain sense, founded Russian liberalism and the philosophy of law (the human right to a dignified existence, criticism of the death penalty). P. I. Novgorodtsev will call Solovyov the founder of the Moscow school of legal philosophy. Solovyov thinks of law as a way to ensure a minimum of good in society, connects law and morality, basing law on a moral imperative, from which it cannot be decoupled, otherwise the legal norm degenerates, turning into a moral fetish. “The task of law is not at all to turn the world lying in evil into the Kingdom of God, but only to ensure that it does not turn into hell before the time comes,” wrote Solovyov

Dual attachment pairs in categorically-algebraic topology

The paper is a continuation of our study on developing a new approach to (lattice-valued) topological structures, which relies on category theory and universal algebra, and which is called categorically-algebraic (catalg) topology. The new framework is used to build a topological setting, based in a catalg extension of the set-theoretic membership relation "e" called dual attachment, thereby dualizing the notion of attachment introduced by the authors earlier. Following the recent interest of the fuzzy community in topological systems of S. Vickers, we clarify completely relationships between these structures and (dual) attachment, showing that unlike the former, the latter have no inherent topology, but are capable of providing a natural transformation between two topological theories. We also outline a more general setting for developing the attachment theory, motivated by the concept of (L,M)-fuzzy topological space of T. Kubiak and A. Sostak

The article analyzes that the image of F. M. Dostoevsky – a man and a writer – in the memoirs of V. S. No contexto da mundialização da contemporaneidade filosófica, dominada pela agenda da anglo-ocidentalidade filosófica, a filosofia feita em Portugal tem sido relegada a uma posição de marginalidade. In the context of the globalization of philosophical contemporaneity, the philosophy made in Portugal has been relegated to a position of marginality. The purpose of this study is to deepen the discussion on the subject and to contribute to future investigations centered on the studies about the Philosophy in Portugal and its international relations, trying to make it clear that such philosophy does not happen in a geo-cultural vacuum. In order to do so, I will look at the crosses between the thoughts of Leonardo Coimbra and Vladimir Solovyov, expecting to provide a basis for future studies on the reception of the thought of the Russian philosopher by the Portuguese philosopher. In fact, the intersection between these two thinkers is, besides expressed by Leonardo Coimbra, discernible as soon as examined.761A-88F4-6066 | Robert Andres Martins Junqueirainfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio

The article analyzes the genesis and transformation of the concept of «religious experience» in the philosophical and theological heritage of V. S. Solovyov. It is proposed to reconstruct the content and meaning of the concept of «religious experience», initially perceived by V. S. Solovyov, later reworked by him in the context of the general logic of the history of Russian religious studies. In the course of the study, the authors raise the question of whether the concept of «religious experience» is possible in the works of V. S. To comprehend Solovyov in the theoretical space of the revealed contradiction of two positions: as a historical and philosophical phenomenon and as a semantically organized concept of fundamental importance for Russian religious philosophy. As a result, it is shown: the influence of the existential experience of the thinker on the formation of the semantic diversity of the concept of «religious experience»; the presence of polemical potential in the genesis of this concept, since V. S. Solovyov uniquely reworks the ideas of Yu. F. Samarin and P. D. Yurkevich. The fundamental importance of the ideas of Yu. F. Samarin and P. D. is shown. To understand the origins of the spectrum of meanings of the concept of «religious experience» in the ideological heritage of V. S. Solovyov. To this end, the characteristics inherent in a purely personal principle in the form of a «personal revelation» are revealed, which is the basis for accepting religious experience as the most reliable. In the late period of his work, the philosopher uses a method of describing religious experience as an experience of feelings, the authors of the article suggest that this is an original approach to the transformation of the system and the ideological heritage of the famous thinker F. Schleiermacher, which has a theological significance. Within the framework of the proposed methodology, the thesis is expressed that the ideological content of the concept of «religious experience» is not only the basis for defining related concepts such as mystical experience, but also has a cognitive potential in its meaningful meaning in relation to individual religious experience. Thus, the fact of the transformation of F.’s ideas is uniquely presented. Schleiermacher in Russian religious studies, namely, the possibility of understanding the nature of «religious experience» is stated based on the meanings given by the author himself (in our case, Solovyov) to the experience of experience that changes a person’s worldview. This shows the value aspect of the «religious experience»
