Kherson Oblast: Hola Prystan District, Chernomorsky Biosphere Reserve, 46°31′35′′ N, 31°94′22′′ E, 1 m. asl, on Agropyron cristatum, 09 June 2009, K. G. Savchenko, BUT-F 305 (paratype).

Note— Tranzscheliella helutae is a part of T. hypodytes species complex. Tranzscheliella helutae is the only species from this genus occurring on Agropyron (subfamily Pooideae, tribe Triticeae). Agropyron contains about seven species found in temperate, mostly arid regions of Eurasia (Dewey 1986). Several species of Agropyron were listed as hosts of T. hypodytes s.l. by Vánky (2012). Tranzscheliella helutae has slightly larger and darker spores than T. hypodytes s.str. (4–4.5 × 4.5–5.5 μm). The spores of T. helutae are unevenly, and moderately verruculose in SEM, which differ from the densely, minutely, uniformly verruculose spores of T. hypodytes s.str. In the phylogenetic analysis, specimens of T. helutae were resolved in a well-supported monophyletic clade (Fig. 1). In a concatenated alignment there are 25 base pair differences between T. helutae and the most closely related species, T. yupeitaniae.
Published as part of Savchenko, Kyryll & Mahmood, Huda, 2023, Tranzscheliella helutae sp. nov. on Agropyron cristatum from Ukraine, pp. 151-156 in Phytotaxa 592 (2) on pages 154-155, DOI: 10.11646/phytotaxa.592.2.9, http://zenodo.org/record/7840526</a&gt

The article reveals that the values that education in the EU countries is intended to foster - human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and respect for human rights - are in line with the value constant of academician Oleksandra Savchenko's pedagogy. The goal of primary education in the Model Educational Programmes for Grades 1 - 2 and 3 - 4 of general secondary education institutions, developed under the guidance of O.Y. Savchenko, is the comprehensive development of the child, his or her talents, abilities, competences and cross-cutting skills in accordance with age and individual psychophysiological characteristics and needs, the formation of values and the development of independence, creativity, curiosity, which ensure his or her readiness for life in a democratic and information society, and continuation of education in primary school. It is concluded that such value orientations lay down a common vision of the development of young people in modern Europe and the world with the European community, and contribute to the integration of national education into the European educational area. The values in the pedagogy of Oleksandra Savchenko are part of her prognostic vision of Ukrainian education, which is based on national experience and harmonised with the innovative guidelines for the development of education in the EU

On the Mechanism of Methane Conversion in the Nonсatalytic Processes of Its Thermal Pyrolysis and Steam and Carbon Dioxide Reforming

    No full text
A detailed kinetic modeling of the noncatalytic processes of thermal pyrolysis and steam and carbon dioxide reforming of methane revealed almost completely identical kinetics of the methane conversion in these processes. This suggests that, in the temperature range 1400–1800 K, the initial stage of conversion of methane in all these processes is its thermal pyrolysis. The modeling results agree well with the experimental data on methane pyrolysis. For the temperature range examined, the Arrhenius expressions (pre-exponential factors and activation energy) were obtained in the first-order kinetics approximation for the rate of methane conversion in the processes studied. The expressions derived may be useful for making preliminary estimates and carrying out engineering calculations

Equilibrium Composition of Products Formed by Non-catalytic Conversion of Hydrocarbons

    No full text
The kinetic patterns of the attainment of the equilibrium product composition in non-catalytic pro cesses of partial oxidation and of steam and carbon dioxide reforming of hydrocarbons in the temperature range 1400–1800 K, characteristic of these processes, were analyzed. The need for such analysis is caused by the rapidly increasing consumption of natural gas as a chemical feedstock and by growing attention to environmental prob lems, in particular, to a decrease in СО2 emissions or to partial CO2 utilization. The forward and reverse water gas shift reactions (WGSRs) play an important role in approach to the equilibrium product composition in these processes. Analysis has shown that the elementary reactions characteristic of forward and reverse WGSRs start to play a significant role long before the equilibrium in the system is attained. Already in the intermediate steps of the process, the distribution of the major reaction products, Н2, СО, Н2О, and СО2, almost corresponds to the equilibrium value of Kt = ([H2][CO2])/([CO][H2O]), close to the WGSR equilibrium constant Keq, and further conversion of the products occurs at Kt values close to Keq

In the transition to a market economy, the Russian workforce underwent a wrenching period of change, with excess supply of some industrial skills coexisting with reports of skills shortages by many enterprises. This paper uses data from the Russia Competitiveness and Investment Climate Survey and related local research to gain insight into the changing supply and demand for skills over time, and the potential reasons for reported staffing problems and skills shortages, including labor turnover, compensation policies, and the inhibiting effects of labor regulations. It discusses in-service training as an enterprise strategy for meeting staffing and skills needs, and presents evidence on the distribution, intensity, and determinants of in-service training in Russia. It investigates the productivity and wage outcomes of in-service training, and the supportive role of training in firms'research and development and innovative activities. A final section concludes with some policy implications of the findings.Education For All,Access&Equity in Basic Education,Labor Markets,Primary Education,Teaching and Learning

Cyclopropyl building blocks in organic synthesis, part 84. A new and productive route to 1-heteroarylcyclopropanols

    No full text
(E/Z)-2-(1-Allyloxycyclopropyl)-3-methoxyacrylonitrile (4-All) was designed and prepared in five steps (58% overall yield) from ethyl cyclopropylidenacetate as a valuable precursor to various 1-heteroarylcyclopropanols. Its condensation with amidines, guanidine, hydrazine, and methyl thioglycolate and subsequent removal of the allyl protecting group yields 1-heteroarylcyclopropanols such as 1-OH (36% over 2 steps), a very potent NO-independent stimulator of soluble guanylate cyclase. Direct cleavage of the allyl ether protecting group [by palladium-catalyzed substitution with lithium p-toluenesulfinate in AcOH or treatment with c-HexMgBr/Ti(OiPr)(4)] gives highly functionalized, sterically congested 1-heteroarylcyclopropanols 29, 30, and 34 with intact amino and ester groups.
