Primary structure of potato Kunitz-type serine proteinase inhibitor
The serine proteinase inhibitor (PSPI-51) isolated from potato tubers (Solanum tuberosum L,) comprises two protein species with pi 5.2 and 6.3, denoted as PSPI-21-5.2 and PSPI-21-6.3, respectively. They were separated by anion exchange chromatography on a Mono Q FPLC column. Both species tightly inhibit human leukocyte elastase, whereas their interaction with trypsin and chymotrypsin is substantially weaker. The sequences of both PSPI-21-5.2 and PSPI-21-6.3 were determined by analysis of overlapping peptides obtained from the oxidized or reduced and S-pyridylethylated proteins after digestion with trypsin or pepsin, Both species of PSPI-21 are composed of two chains, named chains A and B, which are linked by a disulfide bridge between Cys(146) and Cys(157). The other disulfide bridge is located within the A chains between Cys(48) and Cys(97). The amino acid sequences of the large A chains of the two forms, consisting of 150 amino acids residues each, differ in a single residue at position 52. The small chains B, containing 37 and 36 residues in PSPI-21-6.3 and PSPI-21-5.2, respectively, have nine different residues. The entire amino acid sequences of the two inhibitors show a high degree of homology to the other Kunitz-type proteinase inhibitors from plants

Пространственная переменная изменяется в произвольной томерной ограниченной области, рассматриваются краевые условия Дирихле или смешанные краевые условия. Найдены критические значения управляющего параметра, отвечающие колебательной и монотонной потере устойчивости нулевого равновесия. Получены явные асимптотические представления пространственно-временных структур, которые образуются вследствие колебательной потери устойчивости нулевого равновесия при различных типах краевых условий. Показано, что происходит мягкая потеря устойчивости. С помощью построения абстрактной схемы и применения метода Ляпунова - Шмидта выведены формулы для общего члена разложения автоколебаний. Установлено, что для всех рассматриваемых краевых условий общий член асимптотики вторичного решения представляет собой нечетный тригонометрический полином по времени. Приведены примеры приложений общей схемы к случаю одной пространственной переменной, когда вторичные решения обладают дополнительными симметриями. Если на концах отрезка заданы краевые условия Дирихле, то в выражение для n-го члена асимптотики входят лишь конечные линейные комбинации собственных функций оператора Лапласа с нечетными индексами не выше и. Если на концах отрезка заданы смешанные краевые условия, то в выражения n-го члена асимптотики входят лишь конечные линейные комбинации собственных функций с индексами не выше П+1. A reaction-diffusion system with cubic nonlinear term, which is the infinite-dimensional case of classical Rayleigh oscillator, is considered in the present paper. Spatial variable belongs to a bounded m-dimensional domain D, supposed that Dirichlet or Neumann conditions are set on the boundary. Critical values of control parameter, corresponding to monotonous and oscillatory instability are found. Asymptotic approximations of patterns, branching from zero uniform solution due to oscillatory instability are found. Asymptotic approximations are valid for different types of boundary conditions. It is shown that soft loss of stability takes place in the system. By developing an abstract scheme and applying Lyapunov-Sehmidt method, formulas for consecutive terms of asymptotic expansion are found. It was found that all terms of asymptotic expansion are odd trigonometric polynomials in time. Several applications of abstract scheme to one-dimensional domain are shown. In this case, branching solutions have certain symmetries. It is shown that the n-th term of asymptotic contains eigenfunctions of Laplace operator with indexes less or equal to n in the case of Diriclet boundary conditions or 1 ess or equal to otherwise
PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NUMBERED HEAD TOGETHER (NHT) BERBANTUAN VIDEO ANIMASI TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN MATEMATIS SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR: Penelitian Kuasi Eskperimen Pada Kelas IV Salah Satu Sekolah Dasar di Kabupaten Karawang
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa kelas IV. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh kegiatan belajar yang diterapkan guru kurang memperhatikan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami konsep matematika dan lebih fokus pada hasil belajar yang diperoleh. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh model kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) yang berbantuan video animasi terhadap peningkatan pemahaman matematis siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Karawang menjadi populasi dalam penelitian ini dan sampelnya yaitu 52 siswa kelas IV SDN Pangulah Selatan 3. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pemahaman matematis yang terdiri dari 5. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa besarnya pengaruh yang diberikan pembelajaran dengan model kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa berdasarkan pada uji koefisien determinasi memperoleh nilai koefisien determinasi (D) sebesar 32,7% sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa sekolah dasar.

This study was motivated by the low mathematical understanding ability of fourth-grade students. This is due to the learning activities applied by teachers who pay less attention to students' ability to understand mathematical concepts and focus more on the learning outcomes obtained. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) type cooperative model assisted by animated video on improving the mathematical understanding of elementary school students. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental type of research. The research design used was Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Based on the data obtained, it shows that the magnitude of the influence given by learning with the Numbered Head Together type cooperative model on students' mathematical understanding abilities based on the coefficient of determination test obtained a coefficient of determination (D) value of 32.7% so that it can be concluded that there is an effect of the application of the Numbered Head Together type cooperative learning model on the mathematical understanding abilities of elementary school students
Effect of Nutrient Sources on the Alginate Accumulation in the Culture Liquid of Azotobacter vinelandii D-05 and Obtaining Biocomposite Materials
ABSTRACT Using the classic biotechnological methods, the dependence of A. vinelandii D-05 culture alginate production from the media carbon and nitrogen content was investigated. The maximal alginate production was observed during cultivation bacterium in the medium with 2 to 4% of sucrose, but the maximal growth was found in the medium with 4% glucose. It was found that for the alginate production the optimal nitrogen contents could take from 0.05% yeast extract (carbon: nitrogen ratio 168:1). For the first time we demonstrated possibility the A. vinelandii growth during the cultivation in a medium with molasses (a by-product of sugar production) and the significant polysaccharide production (16.6 g/l) was obtained. It was established, that A. vinelandii culture broth could be used as a biological binder for obtaining the biocomposite materials
Turing instability in the one-parameter Gierer–Meinhardt system
The purpose of this work is to find the region of necessary and sufficient conditions for diffusion instability on the parameter plane (τ, d) of the Gierer–Meinhardt system, where τ is the relaxation parameter, d is the dimensionless diffusion coefficient; to derive analytically the dependence of the critical wave number on the characteristic size of the spatial region; to obtain explicit representations of secondary spatially distributed structures, formed as a result of bifurcation of a spatially homogeneous equilibrium position, in the form of series in degrees of supercriticality. Methods. To find the region of Turing instability, methods of linear stability analysis are applied. To find secondary solutions (Turing structures), the Lyapunov– Schmidt method is used in the form developed by V. I. Yudovich. Results. Expressions for the critical diffusion coefficient in terms of the eigenvalues of the Laplace operator for an arbitrary bounded region are obtained. The dependence of the critical diffusion coefficient on the characteristic size of the region is found explicitly in two cases: when the region is an interval and a rectangle. Explicit expressions for the first terms of the expansions of the secondary stationary solutions with respect to the supercriticality parameter are constructed in the one-dimensional case, as well as for a rectangle, when one of the wave numbers is equal to zero. In these cases, sufficient conditions for a soft loss of stability are found, and examples of secondary solutions are given. Conclusion. A general approach is proposed for finding the region of Turing instability and constructing secondary spatially distributed structures. This approach can be applied to a wide class of mathematical models described by a system of two reaction–diffusion equations
Hubungan Pengetahuan Dengan Kepatuhan Minum Obat Pada Pasien Diabetes Tipe II di RSPAD Gatot Soebroto
Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease requires a tight management. Two of the factors that facilitate medication adherence are information and knowledge. This research objective was to find the relation between diabetes knowledge and medication adherence degree of type II Diabetes Mellitus at RSPAD Gatot Soebroto. The design of this research was analytic observational with the cross-sectional method. The populations of this research were the type II DM outpatients who went to RSPAD Gatot Soebroto on May 2023 with the total of samples were 64 people. The instruments that were used to measure knowledge and the medication adherence degrees were the Diabetes Knowledge Questionnaire (DKQ-24) and the Morisky-Green Levine Medication Adherence Scale (MGLS). Respondents who have sufficient level of knowledge amounted to 53.1%. Respondents who had a moderate level of medication adherence amounted to 57.8%. The P value obtained from the result of Somer's d Gamma test was 0.6. These can be interpreted as no significant relation between knowledge about diabetes and medication adherence degree of Diabetes Mellitus type II at RSPAD Gatot Soebroto

The development of the alphabet puppet media at Kartini Kindergarten was motivated by students who were still confused about differentiating between letters that had almost the same shape, such as the letters "b" and "d", "p" and "q" and also the letters "m" and "w". ”. The aim of this research is to develop a learning media to introduce early literacy to children aged 4-5 years. This research is research using the Research and Development (R&D) method by following the stages of the ADDIE development model which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data collection instruments in this research used expert validation, interviews and trials on students. The research results from validation by media experts obtained a final percentage of 97.72%. The results of validation by material experts obtained a final percentage of 100%. Trials on students were carried out twice with 19 student respondents getting a percentage in stage I of 83.18%, and trials in stage II of 92.39%. So it can be concluded that the Alphabet Puppet Media Development that has been developed by researchers is "very feasible" and interesting to use in introducing early literacy to children aged 4-5 years.Pengembangan media wayang alfabet di TK Kartini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya peserta didik yang masih bingung untuk membedakan huruf yang memiliki bentuk hampir sama seperti huruf “b” dan “d”, “p” dan “q” kemudian juga huruf “m” dan “w”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan sebuah media pembelajaran untuk mengenalkan keaksaraan awal pada anak usia 4-5 tahun. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan metode Pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) dengan mengikuti tahap-tahap model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Instrumen pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan validasi ahli,wawancara, dan uji coba pada peserta didik. Hasil penelitian dari validasi oleh ahli media memperoleh persentase akhir diperoleh 97,72% termasuk kedalam kriteria “sangat layak”. Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi diperoleh persentase akhir 100% dengan kriteria “sangat layak”. Uji coba pada peserta didik dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali dengan responden 19 peserta didik mendapatkan persentase tahap I sebesar 83,18%, dan uji coba pada tahap II sebesar 92,39%. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pengembangan Media Wayang Alfabet yang telah dikembangkan oleh peneliti “sangat layak” dan menarik untuk digunakan dalam mengenalkan keaksaraan awal pada anak usia 4-5 tahun
Study of nanoparticles synthesized in reverse micelles using liquid chromatography method
Long-term changes in ice coverage in the area of the Svalbard (Spitsbergen) and Franz Josef Land archipelagos
A comparative analysis of inter-annual changes in ice coverage and time scales of its variability in the waters surrounding the Svalbard and Franz Josef Land archipelagos has been performed. The analysis was carried out for the selected quasi-homogeneous regions. Open sources of information (satellite observations) collected by the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute were used. Seasonal and inter-annual changes in ice coverage were studied over the period 1979–2019, since the uniform series of the satellite data were available for this period. The change of a relatively stable type of ice regime to a regime with a high level of inter-annual variability, which occurred in 2004–2006, was established. A significant negative trend in the change in ice coverage, characteristic of the waters surrounding both archipelagos, was revealed. Correlation and spectral analyses were used to estimate possible periods of cyclic fluctuations in ice coverage (taking into account the limited duration of the observation series), which amounted about 5–6 years. An efforts were made to establish possible relationships between the ice coverage fluctuations and the main atmospheric and oceanic indices. Essentially, no statistical connection with the main atmospheric indices (Arctic and North Atlantic Oscillations) was found, but the feedback with the Atlantic Multi-decadal Oscillation index had been established. The maximum correlation coefficients for Spitsbergen are observed in the winter season, while in the area of Franz-Joseph Land this takes place in summer, which may be attributed to the final velocity of the Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation signal
