No full textNel 1994 durante gli scavi per l'allestimento di un settore della discarica intecomunale Nuova Geovis S.p.A. in loc. Crocetta a Sant'Agata Bolognese (Bo), sono venuti alla luce i resti di un villaggio altomedievale databile al X-XI secolo d.C., costituito da un nucleo abitato con strutture insediative e aree di produzione (focolari, officina per la lavorazione dei metalli, ecc.) circondato da un ampio fossato e da un terrapieno interno. Il presente volume, oltre a poter essere un utile quaderno didattico, illustra e riassume quanto svolto durante l'intervento archeologico di scavo e le metodologie adottate (gli operatori, il cantiere, le campagne di scavo, lo scavo stratigrafico, i rilievi, la strumentazione, la documentazione di scavo), le discipline utilizzate per la datazione (termoluminescenza, C14, dendrocronologia) e l'archeobiologia per la ricostruzione del contesto vegetale (attraverso l'archeopalinologia, archeocarpologia, archeoxilo-antracologia) ed animale (archeozoologia). Strategie e metodologie didattiche in matematica e nelle scienze
No full textNelle pubblicazioni degli ultimi anni, come pure nelle sperimentazioni scolastiche, emergono sempre più nuove proposte metodologiche per l’insegnamento/apprendimento della matematica e delle scienze, che hanno avuto origine in altri ambiti di ricerca. Oltre il rapporto consolidato con le scienze cognitive, che anche nel passato ha prodotto una osmosi di concetti e teorie, in tempi più recenti maggiore attenzione è dedicata agli aspetti metodologici. Per citare alcuni esempi: l’apprendimento capovolto (flipped learning), proposto in relazione all’insegnamento della chimica si è diffuso e sviluppato in pochissimi anni, l’apprendimento cooperativo (peer education), nelle sue varie declinazioni ha trovato applicazione anche nell’ambito della matematica. L’apprendimento a stazioni (stationenlerner) ha larga applicazione nell’insegnamento delle scienze. Se anche vi è una piattaforma teorica comune, l’apprendimento della matematica e delle scienze pone problemi specifici e dunque queste metodologie richiedono una riflessione particolare, per orientarne
opportunamente le strategie, i processi e i materiali, che possono dipendere non solo dalla fascia di età, dalla
tipologia di scuola e dalla situazione sociale e individuale, ma dai contenuti stessi della disciplina che presentano
ostacoli cognitivi specifici.
Il secondo numero dell’annata 2017 della rivista “Annali online della Didattica e della Formazione
Docente” è stato dedicato a questo tema, sul quale presenta venti contributi di ricercatori e sperimentatori italiani che si occupano di didattica della matematica, della fisica, della biologia, della chimica e delle altre scienze, separatamente o in forma interdisciplinare

No full textThe introduction presents the volume, that collects the Proceedings of the conference on "Humanities Computing: Philosophy and Digital Resources," held in Bologna, at the Department of Philosophy, on 22-23 September 2000. The conference was organized to assess the recent advances in humanities computing and, more specifically, the impact of digital tools on the development of fields such as the history of philosophy, and the history of science and technology. The introdoction presents the contributions to the volume as grouped in two sections, respectively devoted to the development of tools for text processing, and to case studies and methodological issues in the domain of computer-based text analysis. The introduction concludes with a discussion of the intitutional consequences and implications of the new developments in technologies and the associated changes in scholarly methods
Attività di fungicidi IBS contro la fusariosi della spiga del frumento e loro influenza sul contenuto di deossinivalenolo (DON) nelle cariossidi e nei loro derivati
No full textIn una indagine condotta su frumento duro è stata saggiata l’attività verso i principali agenti causali della “fusariosi della spiga” (Fusarium graminearum e Fusarium culmorum) di tebuco-nazolo, bromuconazolo e prochloraz ed è stata verificata la capacità dei medesimi fungicidi di ridurre il contenuto di DON nelle cariossidi e nei suoi derivati (semola e crusca). I tre principi attivi sono risultati particolarmente efficaci nel ridurre sia l’incidenza e la gravità della malattia, sia la percentuale di cariossidi infette ed il contenuto di DON nelle cariossidi, semola e crusca
Wartime chemistry in Italy: Industry, the military, and the professors
No full textThe First World War is often called the ‘chemists’ war’. But few realise precisely how, or the extent to which modern chemistry became a significant factor in the struggle, and would be in turn deeply shaped by it. Gathering momentum at first, by 1916, success in applying scientific knowledge to ‘frontline and factory’ became a measure of a nation’s capacity to win an industrial war. In the end, the titanic contest was won in large part through the command of raw materials and industrial output. This book represents a first considered attempt to study the factors that conditioned industrial chemistry for war in 1914-18. Taking a comparative perspective, it reflects on the experience of France, Germany, Austria, Russia, Britain, Italy and Russia, and points to significant similarities and differences. It looks at changing patterns in the organisation of industry, and at the emerging symbiosis between science, industry and the military, which contributed to the first ‘academic-military-industrial’ complex of the 20th century. At the same time, it reflects on the world’s first, and ultimately unsuccessful attempt to monitor ‘dual-use’ chemical technologies, and so restrict the proliferation of an important category of weapons of mass destruction
