Heredity properties of connectedness in edge-coloured complete graphs
AbstractIf the monochromatic graphs G1 and G2 in a 2-edge-coloured complete graph Km (m⩾6) are connected, then there exist at least two vertices x such that the graphs G1⧹x and G2⧹x are also connected. Similar theorems are proved for k-edge-coloured complete graphs. They generalize earlier results of Idzik et al. [Discrete Math. 66 (1987) 119–125]. Examples are shown that analogous theorems are no longer true for 3-uniform complete hypergraphs

Combinatorial lemmas for polyhedrons I
We formulate general boundary conditions for a labelling of vertices of a triangulation of a polyhedron by vectors to assure the existence of a balanced simplex. The condition is not for each vertex separately, but for a set of vertices of each boundary simplex. This allows us to formulate a theorem, which is more general than the Sperner lemma and theorems of Shapley; Idzik and Junosza-Szaniawski; van der Laan, Talman and Yang. A generalization of the Poincaré-Miranda theorem is also derived

Efficient Synthesis of Readily Water-Soluble Sulfonic Acid Carbamates
A series of various readily water-soluble carbamates were synthesized with good yields. These compounds are useful chemical tracers for assessing the cooling progress in a georeservoir during geothermal power plant operation. Acylation of primary amines was carried out as well as using a solution of sodium bicarbonate and without the presence of salt. Products were characterized by 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR. Purity was confirmed through elemental analysis
Electrochemical and spectrophotometric properties of polymers based on derivatives of di- and triphenylamines as promising materials for electronic applications
Novel phenylamine-substituted derivatives, possessing different photochromic groups, were investigated. The electrochemical activity of the monomers and polymers were studied by usage of the electrochemical and spectroelectrochemical measurements. Heterocyclic side rings influence on the oxidation potential of monomers, decreasing its value below oxidation potential in comparison to parent phenylamine units. The removal of electron is easier for diphenylamine derivatives than for the triphenylamine ones. Electroactivity of monomers allows to polymerize them into macromolecule chains. Triphenylamine-based polymers are more stable as a result of the enlarged conjugated systems. Furthermore, the energy gap value of the final polymer can be reduced by introduction of additional branch into the monomer structure
Efficient Synthesis of Readily Water-Soluble Amides Containing Sulfonic Groups
A series of various readily water-soluble amides were synthesized by different procedures. These compounds are useful chemical tracers for assessing the cooling progress in a georeservoir during geothermal power plant operation. Acylation of primary amines was carried out by basically employing the Schotten-Baumann method. As a second method a single-phase solvent system consisting of ethyl acetate as an organic solvent and triethylamine as a catalyst was used. Products were characterized by H-1 NMR and C-13 NMR. Sull'esistenza di punti fissi per multifunzioni a grafo debolmente chiuso
In this note are obtained two fixed point theorems for weakly closed graph multimaps. The above theorems generalize well-known results of C. J. Himmelberg and A. Idzik
