Applications of generalized Ky Fan's matching theorem in minimax and variational inequality
We present some application of the generalized Ky Fan's Matching Theorem stated by Chebbi, Gourdel and Hammami in minimax and variational inequalities using a generalized coercivity type condition for correspondences defined in L-space.L-structures, L-spaces, L-KKM correspondences, L-coercing family, minimax and variational inequalities.

Agricultural and non-agricultural outputs and energy consumption in Tunisia: empirical evidences from cointegration and causality
This short paper investigates the cointegration and causality link between energy consumption and agricultural, non-agricultural outputs (manufacturing sector and services sector) and overall gross domestic product in Tunisia for 1971-2003 period. Empirical results suggest that there is only unidirectional causality running from agricultural and non-agricultural sectors to energy consumption as well as from overall GDP growth to energy consumption. This unidirectional causality signifies a less energy dependent economy and suggests that it is sectoral growth that drives the energy consumption in Tunisia and not vice versa. Empirical results suggest also that Tunisian agricultural sector growth does not depend on energy, and high consumption of energy do not implies more productivity in the short run for this sector.energy consumption, output growth, causality, cointegration, Tunisia, Resource /Energy Economics and Policy,
Intersection and minimax inequality with a generalized coercivity in h-spaces
We define a generalized coercivity type condition for correspondence defined on atopological vector space endowed with a generalized convex structure. An extension of the Fan’smatching theorem is obtained and used to prove results on coincidence, fixed point and minimaxinequality with a weakned compactness condition.Corresponding Author:

The potential of the 3-UPU topology for translational parallel manipulators and a procedure to select the best architecture for a given task
The 3-UPU three degrees of freedom fully parallel manipulator, where U and P are for universal and prismatic pair respectively, is a very well known manipulator that can provide the platform with three degrees of freedom of pure translation, pure rotation or mixed translation and rotation with respect to the base, according to the relative directions of the revolute pair axes. In particular, pure translational parallel 3-UPU manipulators (3-UPU TPMs) received great attention. However, much work has still to be done to reveal all the features this topology can offer to the designer when different architectures, i.e. different geometries, are considered. Therefore, this paper will focus on this type of the 3-UPU manipulators. The paper collects the previous most relevant work done on the 3-UPU TPMs and shows the main results in a coherent general frame. The paper presents new architectures of the 3-UPU TPMs which offer interesting features to the designer. Then, based on a number of indexes, a procedure is proposed that allows the designer to select the best architecture of the 3-UPU TPMs for a given task
Isolation and characterization of a novel rhamnolipid producer Pseudomonas sp. LGMS7 from a highly contaminated site in Ain El Arbaa region of Ain Temouchent, Algeria
This study aims to isolate and characterize a novel rhamnolipid producer within the recent bioremediation approaches for treating hydrocarbon-contaminated soils in Algeria. In this context, from a hydrocarbon-contaminated soil, a newly bacterium designated LGMS7 was screened and identified, belonged to the Pseudomonas genus, and was closely related to Pseudomonas mucidolens, with a 16S rRNA sequence similarity of 99.05%. This strain was found to use different hydrocarbons and oils as a sole carbon and energy source for growth. It showed a stable emulsification index E24 (%) of 66.66% ± 3.46 when growing in mineral salts medium (MSM) supplemented with 2% (v/v) glycerol after incubation for 6 days at 30 °C. Interestingly, it was also able to reduce the surface tension of the cell-free supernatant to around 30 ± 0.65 mN m−1 with a critical micelle concentration (CMC) of 800 mg l−1. It was found to be able to produce around 1260 ± 0.57 mg l−1 as the yield of rhamnolipid production. Its biosurfactant has demonstrated excellent stability against pH (pH 2.0–12.0), salinity (0–150 g l−1), and temperature (−20 to 121 °C). Based on various chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques (i.e., TLC, FTIR, 1H-NMR), it was found to belong to the glycolipid class (i.e., rhamnolipids). Taken altogether, the strain LGMS7 and its biosurfactant display interesting biotechnological capabilities for the bioremediation of hydrocarbon-contaminated sites. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study that described the production of biosurfactants by Pseudomonas mucidolens species
Geometric and manufacturing issues of the 3-UPU pure translational manipulator
This paper collects the most relevant results on singularities and workspace of the Tsai manipulator,
a parallel manipulator that provides its mobile platform with three degree of freedom of pure
translation with respect to its fixed base. The paper investigates the influence of some geometric parameters
─ specifically the orientation of the base/platform revolute axes and the locations of its legs ─
on the structure of the manipulator and consequently on the manipulator performances, mainly in terms
of singularity loci and workspace size. New promising manipulator geometries are presented and some
manufacturing solutions are proposed for leg collision avoidance
