In this covid time, personal hygiene is very necessary for us to take care of, especially important people like teacher. This is because they meet many people at school or outside. I.A. is a portable sterilizer product that use a good material that are more suitable and quality. This product is very suitable for teacher and student to use in the classroom. This product has a UV light to teachers and students at school to prevent germic infections. Designers will focus more on the atmosphere in the classroom. This is because this is the starting point that causes the disease to spread. As my survey only revolves around teachecher and students at school. Most of them are 15-20 years old. 88. 9% of my respondents agree that this product will be able to help people in the post-pandemic era. This portable sterilizer can help many people from being exposed to the spread of disease. The benefit that can be obtained while using this product is we don't have to worry about washing our hands with soap as it has a uv lamp to disinfect the germs that are on the hands

Tahqiq, human perfection, and sovereignty : Ibn al-'Arabi and early-modern Islamic empire
No full textIbn al-‘Arabi (d. 1240), often called the “Greatest Shaykh,” is the most discussed and debated Sufi master of the late medieval Islamic world. Although many scholars have produced works on his life, ideas, and contemporary reception, few have undertaken the task of tracing the consequences of his work for sovereignty well after the shaykh’s death. This paper argues that Ibn al-‘Arabi’s concepts of the “Oneness of Being,” the “Perfect Man,” and his distinct use of tahqiq (verification, realization) worked in tandem as a subset of ideas beneficial to leaders for establishing absolutist sovereignty in the Mughal and Safavid Empires.
This study compares the ideas found in Ibn al-‘Arabi’s works, primarily the Fusus al-Hikam and ‘Anqa’ Mughrib, to the aforementioned, early-modern Islamic governments in order to demonstrate where the shaykh’s philosophy aligns with the crafted personas of charismatic leaders. For secondary sources, this paper references themes found in Kathryn Babayan’s Mystics, Monarchs, and Messiahs and Azfar Moin’s Millennial Sovereign. Furthermore, the paper is indebted to scholars of Ibn al-‘Arabi such as Henry Corbin and William Chittick.
As interest in global studies and the early-modern period continues to grow, the integration, wittingly or otherwise, of Akbarian philosophy into the ethos of sovereignty will continue to be a vibrant area of research. The thought of Ibn al-‘Arabi and his intellectual descendants strongly influenced the absolutist sovereignty of the Mughal and Safavid Empires, the legacy of which reverberates to this day in the cultural memory of the Middle East and South Asia.Middle Eastern Studie

Cognitive Procedures and Hyperbolic Discounting
No full text"Hyperbolic discount functions are characterized by a relatively high discount rate over short horizons and a relatively low discount rate over long horizons" (Laibson 1997).We suggest two cognitive procedures where individuals perceive future utility as decreasing at a decreasing rate as a function of time.Such a perception is similar to hyperbolic discounting.The first procedure shows that individuals hyperbolically discount marginal utility from money when they follow a cognitive procedure in which they believe that their wealth might increase or decrease in each future period under the constraint of a perceived small probability that wealth will decrease below its current level.The second procedure shows that individuals hyperbolically discount expected utility from consumption when they believe that they will rationalize their actions and thus alter their utility function over time.The difference in how perceived utility changes over the short and long horizon generates the hyperbolic discounting phenomenon.We find that greater tendencies toward rationalization and greater volatility in consumption increase the hyperbolic discounting phenomenon. Although hyperbolic disc ounting is usually regarded as impulsive and irrational, Azfar (1999) and this author suggest that hyperbolic discounting may be rational in some cases.cognitive process;preferences;bias;rationality;marginalism
