No full textDer vorliegende Band, der die Ergebnisse eines deutsch-italienischen Forschungskolloquiums vom 27. bis 29. September 2012 in der Villa Vigoni dokumentiert, möchte gegen die präsentistischen Reduktionen und Missverständnisse der Ringparabel die literarische Geschichte dieses wirkmächtigen Erzählmodells rekonstruieren und an diesem Leitfaden entlang auch eine Archäologie des europäischen Toleranzgedankens selbst liefern. Erhellt werden zum einen die Transformationen der Parabel von der Antike bis zu Boccaccios Melchisedech-Novelle, um dann zum anderen auf Lessing einzugehen und dessen Rezeption bis in die Moderne zu verfolgen. Wie die Tagung wird auch die vorliegende Dokumentation mit einem Beitrag des Ägyptologen Jan Assmann eröffnet. Ef folgen Beiträge von A.C. Mayer, W.-D. Stempel, V.L. Puccetti, A. Kablitz, L. chlorine, bromine, or iodine substituents, and (iii) dehydrogenation.
Pd catalysis allows selective functionalization at the anthracenes’
east/west positions. A tetrahydropentacene is synthesized and derivatized
via the same strategy, employing tetrapropargylbenzene

Chapter 16. The psychology of resistance in violent and repressive contexts: a conclusion and a beginning
No full textIn this chapter, we provide a synthesis of this volume’s contributions to understanding the psychology of resistance in violent, repressive contexts. We argue that these contributions challenge the assumptions of social psychological research on resistance conducted in Western democratic nations. Taken together, the chapters in this volume offer a richer understanding of the dynamics and relational aspects of resistance in contexts of violence and repression, and a more thorough understanding of the continuous intragroup and intergroup negotiation of resistance strategies in changing contexts. They contextualize the psychology of resistance further by considering the conditions necessary for resistance to arise or be suppressed, as well as explaining support for different resistance tactics. We also discuss the limitations of this volume and their connections to disciplinary and theoretical gaps in social psychology. We outline future directions for research on the psychology of resistance in violent and repressive contexts and beyond
