No full textIntroducción: la Doctora Gladys María Zuazaga Cabrera es un modelo de formación integral en la medicina revolucionaria cubana y villaclareña, es una profesional que priorizó los intereses de la Patria a los personales y que la ha servido al combinar lo que amaba con lo que se necesitaba. Logró sus mayores éxitos como dirigente político y administrativo, pero no dejó de amar la clínica.Objetivo: destacar la historia de vida de la Doctora como modelo de formación integral en la medicina revolucionaria cubana y villaclareña.Método: se realizaron una revisión bibliográfica que incluyó libros, revistas, páginas web, documentos originales de la personalidad tratada y entrevistas personales tanto a ella como a compañeros de trabajo.Conclusiones: la Doctora Zuazaga Cabrera representa un digno ejemplo de la generación que nació en el año 1959. Abrazó a la Revolución y demostró que dirigiendo a su alma, el Partido, y a los procesos que se generan en una unidad hospitalaria también se cumple con la obra de la vida.Introduction: Dr. Gladys María Zuazaga Cabrera is a model of comprehensive training in Cuban and Villa Clara revolutionary medicine, she is a professional who prioritized the interests of the Homeland over personal ones and who has served it by combining what she loved with what was needed. . She achieved her greatest successes as a political and administrative leader, but she did not stop loving the clinic.Objective: to highlight the life story of the Doctor as a model of comprehensive training in Cuban and Villa Clara revolutionary medicine.Method: a bibliographic review was carried out that included books, magazines, web pages, original documents of her treated personality and personal interviews with both her and co-workers.Conclusions: Dr. Zuazaga Cabrera represents a worthy example of the generation that was born in 1959. She embraced the Revolution and demonstrated that directing her soul, the Party, and the processes that are generated in a hospital unit also fulfills the work of life
