No full textBu çalışmada Nuruosmaniye Kütüphanesi 4957 nolu şiir mecmuasının (33b - 53a) varaklarının transkripsiyonlu metne aktarımı, nesre çevirisi ve incelemesi yapılmıştır. 254 varaktan oluşan 4957 nolu şiir mecmuasının çalıştığımız bölümünde Nef’î’ye ait 14 kaside bulunmaktadır. İki bölümden oluşan çalışmamızın ilk bölümünde mecmua ve mecmuaların edebiyat tarihindeki önemine değinilmiş, 4957 numaralı şiir mecmuasının ilgili kısmında yer alan şiirler ve bu şiirlerin şairi Nef’î’nin hayatı, eserleri ve sanatı hakkında incelemeler sonucunda elde edilen bilgiler sıralanmış, kasidelerin sunulduğu devlet adamları hakkında bilgiler verilmiş ve mecmuanın MESTAP projesine uygun tablosu çıkartılmıştır. İkinci bölümünde ise söz konusu varaklarda bulunan kasidelerin divanla karşılaştırılmış transkripsiyonlu metnine ve nesre çevirilerine yer verilmiştir.In this thesis, for pages 33b-53a in the poetry journal 4957 in the Nuruosmaniye Library, I transcribed the Ottoman script in direct form and then also translated it into narrative form, as well. The poetry journal 4957 that has a total of 254 pages, and the section that I have studied has 14 odes (kaside) composed by Nef’i. The thesis contains two sections. The first section explores the importance of these types of literary journals throughout history of literature and it also includes the odes from the aforementioned section of journal 4957 and a compilation of the life works and art of Nef’i. Additionally, it includes information about various statesmen that these odes were presented to, and the work was prepared using the official guidelines for the MESTAP project. The second section is a comparative study of these poems from the journal versus those in the Divan of Nef’i, and it includes the transliterations and narrative / prose translations of those poems, as well

Bu kısımda Nef’î ve Şeyhülislâm Yahyâ’ya ait şiirler bulunmaktadır.Nef’î’nin kaside, gazel, kıt’a, rubâ’î ve müfretlerinin bulunduğu bölümden sonra Şeyhülislâm Yahyâ’nın gazelleri yer almaktadır. Çalışmamız iki bölümden oluşmaktadır ve ilk bölümünde mecmûaların edebiyat tarihindeki yerinden ve öneminden bahsedilmiş, 4957 numaralı şiir mecmûasının ilgili kısmında yer alan şiirler ve bu şiirlerin şairleri Nef’îve Şeyhülislâm Yahyâ’nın hayatı, eserleri ve sanatları hakkında incelemeler sonucunda elde edilen bilgiler sıralanmıştır. Mecmûanın MESTAP projesine uygun tablosu çıkartılmıştır. Çalışmanın son bölümünde ise sözkonusu varaklarda bulunan kaside, gazel, kıt’a, rubâ’î ve müfretlerin divanla karşılaştırılmış transkripsiyonlu metni ve nesreçevirileri yer almaktadır.At this study the discriptioned text transfer, prose translation and examination of the foils of poetry magazine no. 4957 (72b-92b) from Nuruosmaniye library hes bee done. The poetry magazine no. 4957 consist of 254 foils and there are 20 foils in the section we study on. There are poems belong to Nef’î and Şeyhülislâm Yahyâ in this section. After the section in which there eulogies, odes , verses, quatrains and uniques of Nef’î, there are odes of Şeyhülislâm Yahyâ. Our study consist of two sections and in the first section, the place and the importance of the magazines in the literature history in mentioned, the poems in the related part of the poetry magazine no. 4957 and the information gathered after the examinations about the lifes, works and art of the poets of these poems, Nef’î and Şeyhülislâm Yahyâ, are listed. The magazine is brought to the table relevant to the MESTAP project. In the last section of our study there are transcriptioned text transfer compared to dewan(divan) and prose translations of eulogies, odes, verses, quatrains and uniques in the foils mentioned

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

incelemesinden oluşmaktadır.
Bu çalışmada şairler ve şiirler hakkında önemli bir bilgi kaynağı olan
mecmuaların Klâsik Türk Edebiyatı çalışmaları bakımından kıymetine değinilerek,
çalışma konumuz olan Nuruosmaniye Kütüphanesi 4957 numaralı şiir mecmuası ana
hatlarıyla tanıtılmış; 93a-110b varakları arasında şiirleri bulunan Şeyhülislâm Yahyâ
Efendi ve eserleri hakkında detaylı bilgi verilerek incelediğimiz 149 gazelin aruz
kalıpları, redif ve kâfiyeleri, muhteva hususiyetleri detaylı olarak gösterilmiştir. 93a-
110b varakları arasında bulunan gazeller, yayımlanmış divanla karşılaştırılmış, elde
edilen veriler ve metin incelemesinde karşılaşılan problemler dipnotlarda gösterilerek
metin kısmından önce inceleme olarak sunulmuştur. İnceleme kısmının ardından,
çalıştığımız 149 gazelin transkripsiyonlu metni ve nesre çevirisi verilerek, MESTAP
tablosu ile çalışmamız tamamlanmıştır.This study consists of the transcription and the analysis of the poems located
between the 93a-110b leaves of the 254-page poetry mejmua registered under the
number of 4957 in Nuruosmaniye Library.
In this study, the value of the mejmuas as the significant source of
information about the poetry and the poets is mentioned with regards to the Classical
Turkish Literature, the poetry mejmua- the study subject, registered under the
number of 4957 in Nuruosmaniye Library is presented through its outline, the aruz
wezni (prosody), redif (repeated voice/word after the rhyme) and kafiye (rhyme
scheme), content features of 149 ghazals are scrutinised by adding overly elaborated
information about Sheikh ul-lslam Yahya Afandi whose poems located between 93a-
110b leaves and his pieces. The ghazal poems located between the 93a-110b leaves
are compared with the published diwans (collected poems), through citing in the
footnotes the acquired inputs and the encountered problems while analysing the
poems are rendered before the text part as a detailed analysis. In the following
section, the study is completed with MESTAP table by adding the transcription of
149 ghazals studied on in this process and all the poetry turned into the prose
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
