Is X(3915) accessible at meson photoproduction experiment?
No full textIn this paper, we introduce our study on the discovery potential of charmonium-like state X(3915) via meson photoproduction. By considering the signal and background contribution to γ p → J/ψωp process, we obtain the total cross sections for γ p → J/ψωp, which provide important information to further experimental exploration of X(3915). Especially, we also emphasize that the discovery potential of charmonium-like state X(3915) is determined by the coupling constant of X(3915) → J/ψω, which is a crucial parameter of reflecting the inner structure of X(3915). Thus, studying X(3915) via meson photoproduction is helpful in revealing the underlying property of X(3915)
X(3915) and X(4350) as New Members in the P-Wave Charmonium Family
No full textThe analysis of the mass spectrum and the calculation of the strong decay of P-wave charmonium states strongly purport to explain the newly observed X(3915) and X(4350) as new members in the P-wave charmonium family, i.e., chi'(c0) for X(3915) and chi ''(c2) for X(4350). Under the P-wave charmonium assignment to X(3915) and X(4350), the J(PC) quantum numbers of X(3915) and X(4350) must be 0(++) and 2(++) respectively, which provide important criteria to test the P-wave charmonium explanation for X(3915) and X(4350) proposed by this Letter. The decay behavior of the remaining two P-wave charmonium states with the second radial excitation is predicted, and an experimental search for them is suggested

Is the X(3915) the x(c0)(2P)?
No full textThe Particle Data Group Meson Summary Table lists the X(3915) meson, omega J/psi. mass peak seen in B -> K omega J/psi decays and gamma gamma -> omega J/psi two-photon fusion reactions, as the x(c0)(2P), the 2(3)P(0) charmonium state. Here, with some reasonable assumptions, it is shown that if the X(3915) is the x(c0)(2P), the measured strength of the gamma gamma -> X(3915) signal implies an upper limit on the branching fraction B(x(c0)(2P) -> omega J/psi) that is below a lower limit inferred for the same quantity from the B -> KX(3915) decay rate. Also, the absence any signal for X(3915) -> D-0(D) over bar (0) in B+ -> (K+D0)(D) over bar (0) decays is used to infer the limit B(X(3915) -> D-0(D) over bar (0)) omega J/psi). This contradicts expectations that x(c0)(2P) decays to D-0(0) should be a dominant process, while decays to omega J/psi, which are Okubo-Zweig-Iizuka suppressed, should be relatively rare. These, plus reasons given earlier by Guo and Meissner, raise concerns about the X(3915) = x(c0)(2P) assignment.273511Nsciescopu

The Concepts of "War" and "Peace" in the Context of Transnational Terrorism
No full textHistorically there are many conceptualizations of «war» and «peace». Taking a closer look, we can nevertheless specify these concepts rather clearly: war is defined as violent conflict resolution between states or as a condition of violence or continuing uncertainty. Peace requires at least the absence of war. As long as we do not consider it the contradictory antonym to war, it seems plausible to specify it by the feature of the absence of enmity or–even better–as an order of non-violent conflict resolution. To speak of a “war on terrorism“ negates the modern restriction of possible agents in war, i.e. that only states can be war parties, and it bears the risk of an erosion of humanity in war as well as of the distinction between martial and criminal law. It seems better justified to deal with transnational terrorism within terms of peace, in which violent acts are legally prosecuted in an order of alternative conflict resolution
