    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    Modification of nitrile rubber 2980 with liquid nitrile rubber YN 25

    Nitrile rubber (NBR) 2980 M was prepared by mechanical blending of liquid nitrile rubber (YN 25) into NBR 2980. The effect of YN 25 addition ratio on the Mooney viscosity, hardness, vulcanization characteristics of NBR 2980 M compound, and tensile properties of NBR 2980 M vulcanizate were studied. The results showed that with the increase of YN 25, Mooney viscosity, modulus at 300% at 50 min, tensile strength, maximum and minimum torque of NBR 2980 M all decreased li-nearly, while the elongation at break and three torque differences vulcanization times of 25 min, 50 min, and 90 min all increased linearly. However, the change in hardness of the compound was not significant. For increase in mass fraction of YN 25 in NBR 2980 M by 1%, Mooney viscosity of the compound decreases by 0.78, and the modulus at 300%, tensile strength, maximum and minimum torque of the vulcanizate decrease by 0.25 MPa, 0.17 MPa, 0.12 dN·m, and 0.02 dN·m, respectively. The elongation at break and three vulcanization times of 25 min, 50 min, and 90 min increase by 4.1%, 0.05 min, 0.08 min, and 0.18 min, respectively

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    OBSERVATION OF THE {eta}{sub c} (2980) PRODUCED IN THE RADIATIVE DECAY OF THE {psi}' (3684)

    In a study of {psi}'(3684) radiative decays with the Mark II detector at SPEAR, we observe the decay sequence {psi}' {yields} {gamma}{eta}{sub c}(2980), with the {eta}{sub c}(2980) decaying into several completely reconstructed hadronic modes. We obtain a mass M = 2980 ± 8 MeV / c{sup 2} and a width {Gamma} < 40 MeV / c{sup 2} (90% confidence level), and present estimates of some of the decay branching ratios

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Для достижения поставленной цели были поставлены следующие задачи: 1.Спроектировать конструкцию скважины. 2.Спроектировать процессы углубления скважины. 3.Спроектировать процессы заканчивания скважин. 4.Рассмотреть производителей роторных управляемых систем. 5.Составить нормативную карту строительства и произвести расчёт сметной стоимости бурения и крепления скважины. 6.Произвести анализ производственной и экологической безопасности, а также безопасности при чрезвычайных ситуациях.The object of the WRC is an exploration vertical well with a depth of 2980 meters in an oil and gas field. The purpose of this work is to design a technological solution for drilling a vertical exploration well with a depth of 2980 meters in an oil and gas field. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were set: 1. Design the well structure. 2. Design the well deepening processes. 3. Design well completion processes. 4. Consider the manufacturers of rotary controlled systems. 5. Make a regulatory map of construction and calculate the estimated cost of drilling and fixing the well. 6. Perform an analysis of industrial and environmental safety, as well as safety in emergency situations
