Get PDFPenelitian ini dilakukan dengan berlandaskan pada tujuan untuk menilai efektivitas penegakan hukum yang berkeadilan pada penerapan hukuman tambahan kebiri kimia. Penerapan hukuman tambahan kebiri kimia telah termuat dalam salah satu perkara, yaitu teregister dengan nomor perkara 2627/Pid.Sus/2019/PN Sby. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah jenis penelitian yuridis normatif. Penedekatan penelitian yang dilakukan oleh penulis adalah studi kepustakaan, studi perundang-undangan, dan studi kasus. Selain itu, penelitian ini menggunakan berbagai bahan hukum, yaitu bahan hukum primer yang terdiri dari salinan putusan perkara 2627/Pid.Sus/2019/PN Sby, bahan hukum sekunder yang terdiri dari kumpulan jurnal dan buku, serta bahan hukum tersier yang terdiri dari sumber internet. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis secara deduktif sebagai penunjang utama. Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini pada intinya menyatakan adanya kesalahan penerapan hukum dalam perkara 2627/Pid.Sus/2019/PN Sby menyebabkan penegakan hukum yang berkeadilan tidak tercapai. Sehingga akibat dari tidak tercapainya esensi penegakan hukum yang berkeadilan membuat penerapan hukuman tambahan kebiri kimia belum mampu menjawab untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan kejahatan seksual terhadap anak yang memberikan efek jera
