Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. 通过实况调查来提出有关中文系教学实习改善方案
No full text최근 교원의 전문성과 현장 적합성 제고에 대한 인식으로 교육실습에 대한 중요성이 더욱 강조되고 있다. 이에 본 연구자는 중국어 교사로서 필요한 자질과 역할은 무엇이며, 교사 교육 중 직전 교육인 교육 실습 중에 예비 중국어 교사들의 수업 실체와 교직 경험에 관심을 가지고 연구를 시작하게 되었다.
2007학년도 1학기 교육실습을 다녀온 실습생 122명과 서울 및 경기도 지역의 교사 20명을 대상으로 설문과 면담이 실시되었고, 예비 중국어 교사들의 수업 실습 실태와 교육실습 운영 실태를 분석과 논의를 토대로 개선 방안에 대해 고찰해 보았다.
Ⅰ장 서론에서는 실태 조사를 통한 중국어과 교육실습 개선 방안에 대한 연구의 목적 및 필요성에 대해서 언급한다. 또한 선행 연구 고찰과 연구 내용 및 방법에 대해 설명한다.
Ⅱ장 이론적 배경에서는 교육실습 제도와 중국어 교사 교육과정, 중국어 교사로서의 자질과 역할에 대해서 살펴보았다.
Ⅲ장 중국어과 교육실습의 실태 조사 및 분석에서는 이론적 배경에서 살펴본 중국어 교사로서의 자질과 역할을 토대로 교생들의 교수방법 및 기술, 언어-문화 능력, 교육실습 운영 체제 및 전반적인 교직경험에 대해 살펴보았다.
Ⅳ장 중국어과 교육실습에 대한 개선 방안에서는 앞서 실태 분석과 논의를 바탕으로 수업경영 및 교수기술, 언어-문화 능력 향상, 교육실습 운영과 교과 과정면에 있어서 개선 방안을 모색해 보았다.
Ⅴ장 결론에서는 지금까지 살펴본 연구 내용을 중심으로 중국어과 교육실습 실태를 종합적으로 요약?정리하며, 좀 더 효율적인 교육실습 운영과 이론과 실제를 겸비한 유능한 중국어 교사 양성을 위해 나아갈 길에 언급한다.
이에 본 연구가 예비 중국어 교사들에게 교생실습에 대한 지침이 되고, 교생실습 운영과 교사 양성 교육에 시사점을 제공해주고자 한다. 앞으로 중국어 교사 연구, 그중에서도 교육실습에 대한 현장 연구 및 예비 중국어 교사로서의 자질 향상에 관한 연구가 지속적으로 이루어지기를 기대한다. 또한 체계적인 교사 교육과 교육실습의 보완과 강화를 통해 우리나라의 중국어 교육을 짊어지고 갈 실력 있는 중국어 교사가 많이 배출되었으면 하는 바람이다.;最近人们认识到提高教育人员的专业水平和职业适应能力（实务能力）的重要性，教育实习的重要性也随之提高。因此,本人对汉语教师所要具备的素质和角色以及未来汉语教师们即，实习教师们的教学状况和教学经验开始进行研究。
本人对在２００７年第一个学期完成教学实习工作各项任务的实习生１２２名及首尔和京畿道地区的教师２０名进行了问卷调查和面试，对未来汉语教师讲课以及教育实习运营的整个状况进行分析和讨论。并以此为基础对有关改善方案进行了研究。
‘第一张前言’的主要内容有通过对教育实习整个状况进行调查来研究有关中文系教学实习改善方案的目的和必要性，先行研究考察和其研究内容及方法。
在‘第二章理论背景’集中研究了教学实习制度，汉语教师的教育课程，汉语教师的素质以及角色。
在‘第三章对于中文系教学实习状况调查及分析’，以‘第二章理论背景’所提到的汉语教师的素质和角色为基础，仔细地考察了实习教师的教授方法和技巧、语言和文化水平、教育实习运营体制及教育经验。
在‘第四章有关中文系教学实习的改善方案’，以上述分析及讨论内容为基础，摸索出能够改善教学模式和教学技巧、提高语言和文化水平、提高教育实习运营的效率和教育水平的有效方案。
在‘第五章结论’，以上述的研究内容为主，综合摘要了中文系教育实习状况并提出了能够培养出更有效地完成教育实习运营任务、掌握教学理论背景以及有教学经验的优秀汉语教师人才的解决方案。
本论文要向未来汉语教师提供有关教学实习的指南针，并要向教学实习运营和教师培养教育提供启示。我希望今后能够继续进行有关汉语教师，尤其是有关教育实习的现场研究及提高未来汉语教师素质的研究。与此同时，希望通过对教师进行有系统地教育，弥补教育实习的缺点来培养出负有责任的、有实力的汉语教师。Ⅰ.서론 = 1

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
Get PDFWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
