No full textLos tres tomos de “Construcciones Sustentables y la Ley 13059”, surgen de numerosas publicaciones previas como aporte a la difusión de los conceptos y técnicas de las construcciones sustentables en el hábitat construido de la Provincia de Buenos Aires. La experiencia en el tema arranca en 1985 cuando nos incorporamos al equipo del Proyecto “Audibaires”, del IAS Instituto de Arquitectura Solar y financiado por la Secretaría de Energía de la Nación. En ese proyecto se auditaron 3500 viviendas del área metropolitana de Buenos Aires. Se continuó con financiamiento del CONICET la realización de auditorías en la Provincia de Buenos Aires en 1989 y así siguieron de forma continua hasta el presente. Este documento en particular reúne parte de fichas de trabajos prácticos de la Cátedra de Instalaciones Czajkowski – Gómez – Calisto Aguilar de la FAU UNLP en lo relacionado con uso racional y eficiencia energética en las edificaciones. Se incorporan varias actualizaciones y ampliaciones para adaptarlo al contexto de la provincia de Buenos Aires. Se ofrece un material de apoyo a certificadores de edificios capacitados por la Subsecretaría de Tecnología e Innovación sobre “Construcciones Sustentables y la Ley 13059”.Facultad de Arquitectura y Urbanism
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
The polymerisation of oligo(ethylene glycol methyl ether) methacrylate from a multifunctional poly(ethylene imine) derived amide: a stabiliser for the synthesis and dispersion of magnetite nanoparticles
Get PDFA facile synthetic route to poly(ethylene imine)-graft-poly(oligo(ethylene glycol methyl ether)) (PEI-graft-POEGMA) functionalised superparamagnetic magnetite nanoparticles is described. The polymerisation of OEGMA from a model molecular amide demonstrated the feasibility of POEGMA synthesis under mild ATRP conditions (20 °C in ethanol) albeit with low initiator efficiencies. DFT studies suggest that the amide functionality is intrinsically of lower activity than ester functional monomers and initiators for atom transfer polymerisation (ATRP) as a consequence of higher bond dissociation energies and bond dissociation free energies (BDFE). However these studies further highlighted that use of an appropriate solvent could reduce the free energy of dissociation thereby reducing the relative difference in BDFE between the ester and amide groups. A commercial branched PEI sample was functionalised by reaction with 2-bromo-2-methylpropanoyl bromide giving an amide macroinitiator suitable for the atom transfer radical polymerisation (ATRP) of oligo(ethylene glycol methyl ether) methacrylate. The resulting PEI-graft-POEGMA copolymers were characterised by SEC, FT-IR and 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. PEI-graft-POEGMA coated magnetite nanoparticles were synthesised by a basic aqueous co-precipitation method and were characterised by transmission electron microscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and vibrating sample magnetometry and dynamic light scattering. These copolymer coated magnetite nanoparticles were demonstrated to be effectively stabilised in an aqueous medium. Overall the particle sizes and magnetic and physical properties of the coated samples were similar to those of uncoated samples

Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. No full textLa Provincia de Buenos Aires aprobó en el año 2003 la Ley 13059 para regular la calidad térmica y energética de todo edificio para habitación humana haciendo de cumplimiento obligatorio un grupo de Normas IRAM. Se reglamentó en el año 2010 y recién en 2018 el Municipio de Olavarría fue el primero en adherir mediante una ordenanza. El LAyHS y el Ministerio de Ciencia Tecnología e Innovación usan un Convenio con la UNLP para crear un Programa de Eficiencia Energética en el Hábitat Construido que contiene una capacitación acreditada junto a tutores docentes de la universidad para capacitar a miles de arquitectos, ingenieros y técnicos bonaerenses. Este libro es el primer tomo de una serie de tres que abarca la capacitación. Contiene una introducción a las construcciones sustentables en el territorio provincial aunque posible de ser utilizado en otras provincias de la Argentina.
